Always on a razor’s edge
In the loony cage
Now opening this window
Now closing that
Now busy at this arrow
Now tackling the aching marrow
For the sweet bones moves the cat
The wolf seeks to shift
From old veins to a fresh rainbow
Comes up the superintendent
(As the psychoanalyst says)
The disguise is recognizable
The fruit of social venoms is terrible
Dusk or dawn
The train therefore pulls on
With the chores floors sores roars galore
Profound rubbish
Calling for the female cannabis
Kisses without kinesis
Daily travesty of compulsive synthesis
No beak and obviously no peaks
Same old debris and I can take it no more
It’s bloody hell
Better to regress to the cat
In an empty flat

My inward journey
'. seeks purpose of life, because I live.
Endured failure, accessed success
Normal life :Blessed or Deprived !
Absolute no need to explain profit or loss.
I tried to spread happiness !
That's my joy , tried to seek purpose of life.
I always serve my best to enjoy.
Wish to do good for all, being alive.
On tough journey of life my car to drive all alone
Sometimes rough path, sometimes smooth,
seeking purpose of life, as I'm living.
That's my priority to reach the truth.
Throughout life I proceed and progress.
Neither I claim or beg but wish to give :
Sometimes I aggress, sometimes to regress
always seeking purpose of life !
That's my inward journey.
Mental health is something we all need,
A state of mind that's free from greed,
A balance between our heart and soul,
That helps us reach our ultimate goal.
It's the ability to cope with stress,
To face our fears and not regress,
To find the strength to carry on,
When all around us seems to be gone.
Mental health is the key to happiness,
The foundation of our inner bliss,
The light that shines through every storm,
it makes us warm while remaining preserved.
It's the courage to seek help when we need it,
To open up and let others see it,
To break down the walls that we have built,
And find the love that we have spilt.
So take care of your mental health, my friend,
And let it guide you to the very end,
For it's the one thing that will never die,
and will constantly there to guide you in setting off.
Dawn hurls
Mystic light;
Soul awakes
~~~~~~~~~
Joy speaks
Wit listens;
Humour smiles
~~~~~~~~~
If you must know
Simply ask;
Truth speaks soft
~~~~~~~~~
Acid rain
Fake smiles loiter;
Skeptical spoils
~~~~~~~~~
Speak softly
Fragrant flower;
Beauty adorns style
~~~~~~~~~
Mindful moments
Peace sheds light;
Joy dwells within
~~~~~~~~~
Profound grounds
Deeper stillness here;
Mindful meditation
~~~~~~~~~
Look thus:
Do you see;
Poignant feelings
~~~~~~~~~
Darkness descends
Round the bend;
Sunlit hours come
~~~~~~~~~
Lines in rhymes
Verse attempts;
Feelings crystalline
~~~~~~~~~
Outburst pungent
Words regress;
Uneasy impasse
~~~~~~~~~
Unhurried trace
Not much said;
More meaning here
~~~~~~~~~
It is what it is
Reality strikes;
Memory unfurls
~~~~~~~~~
Dementia stinks
Meaning corrupt;
Decay remodels
~~~~~~~~~
Sad but true
Your good self dead;
Odd mask falls
~~~~~~~~~
Too many grudges
Hostile takeover;
Ugly metaphors
~~~~~~~~~
Evening settles
Plumerias droop;
Floral sleep time
~~~~~~~~~
Dreamtime
Sleepy melody;
Tipsy fantasy
I see only dread
in the break of day
if I lie with my thoughts
they'll devour me
all concepts lead
to forked tongues
I trust nothing
as I know of the arrows
shooting left and right
until this dread is swallowed
starts to occupy within, by my own hand
and I cough it up
- examine its contents
mentally swing
from limb to limb
over reliant
on the gait cycle
mistaking stagger
for momentum
I need only step back
join the dots
scan the reference points
mindful
not
to
loop
infinity
predictions may be on the nose
observations kept intense
until curated
should I care to unravel them
I regress
regret
feel sorrow -
that every star-filled sky
becomes a named constellation
Inspired by Morning Star (L'étoile matinale) - Miro
True, I do practice the act of introversion quite a bit,
But why should I be blamed? To what am I to admit
When I am not the transgressor in question?
I am not typically one to act in aggression,
Towards others in outward ways, I should say,
For, only in privacy, do I sometimes get irate,
Never to those who desire to brighten my day
But rather to those who nourish from the hate,
For such creatures, as it pains me to claim,
Seem only to grow, to fester in number by the hour,
Corrupting the pure, convincing them they are the same,
That despite the effort, all people are equally as sour.
You may call me cynical, but even still,
Do be confident that I do not speak in vain
Since it is not by my own design or will
That some tend to thrive from others’ pain,
Nor that, sometimes, the weakest among the populace,
Often those who are primarily afflicted,
Are given no respite, no chance at joyfulness
And consequently cause more pain, their sorrows reflected.
An unfortunate truth, just as this may be,
It is not its existence which vexes me so
But rather how it perseveres, us acting carefree,
Acting in ignorance, feeding the spiteful weeds we sow.
And so he was right, Voltaire was, when once he said
That those who believe blindly inevitably regress,
And commit atrocities, not caring who ends up dead,
Pinning the blame on others, if only to digress.
Is this what it’s come to? Rashness without rationale?
No, I fear it is far worse, for it is the Death of Morale.
‘ Seize the day ‘ ! It’s carpe diem
Every day in life is a game.
Life to enjoy and to explore :
Any moment not to ignore.
Each day appears as a gift.
Utilise, being perfect fit.
Be dynamic, no stagnancy.
Be joyful, no despondency.
Proceed always to progress.
At any cost, not to regress.
Ups and downs in life : more or less,
yet consider each day to bless.
Accept each day as a challenge.
It’s up to you, how to arrange !
Never sit indolent, at all.
Respond to every moment’s call.
Mother’s Day-Three Years Later
I may speak to you
as a still portrait on the wall
no wailing
ghosts don’t present
only those of memories
especially
clasping the cross
between my fingers
as it was buried
on your chest
no tears
I only whisper
“Mom…”
are you stirred?
I reach out
truly
lean in
indubitably
to the Lord
who
with no doubt
hears
my heart cry
I don’t use
many words
on
the smile of your shadow
but lean
into
the sure everlasting arms
of Jesus
it’s almost time to honor you
are you still my mother
or merely my sister
in Christ?
do we retain the same relationship
or
is it like husbands & wives?
the bible says
we are like the angels
in heaven
no longer
given
to marriage
so I wonder…
I wondered
at the beginning
of your death -
do I still
have a mother
or
am I motherless?
I tuck
the Mother’s Day card
away
my husband thought
I’d want to put
it into her arms
next to her large portrait
next to her purple urn
on that first motherless occasion
I can’t even look at it
I can’t conceive it
the scent of funereal flowers
fills my living space
and the altar of grief notes
is growing
I throw them down
like a house of cards
likewise discard the flowers
leaving dried petals of sunshine
in a broom closet box
it’s three years later
the dust settles
the drum beats
always reminding me
we must rehearse
every day
not pick up the phone
not regress
be addressed
only by our own
my children can still reach me
if they choose…I’ll hear
Lone sailor on voyage in sea of life !
Started peacefully in calm ambient.
Out of blue loud thunder in cloudless sky.
Hidden icebergs bring continuous trouble.
Sea of life turbulent where breakers roar.
Tough journey, yet to proceed not to stop.
Propel in tides - ebbs on rhythmic cadence.
Boat sways violent on trough and crest.
Life to wobble in thrill and in danger.
Ignite your soul to illuminate path..
Life to explore, agress on confidence
Responsibility is solely yours.
Competence and devotion is your guide.
Never to repent ! Never to regress.
Sail and sail , let the night winds sigh behind..
Let the breakers roar ! Sail , sail all along.
Accept the challenge: Meet eternity.
In sea of life lone sailor on voyage
Peacefully started in calm ambient.
All on a sudden thunder to outrage.
Yet to proceed without allowing rest.
Sea of life turbulent and breakers roar
Icebergs floating, nine times being submerged.
Giant waves swelling, aqua mass in galore.
Sailor propel in ebbs -tides chased by urge.
Life to explore, aggress on confidence.
Dedication and devotion are your guide.
Waves dancing on crest and trough in cadence.
Lone sailor sailing, night winds sigh behind.
Not to get frightened, let the breakers roar.
Not to lose confidence, you are so strong !
Not to regress , you are to reach the shore.
Let the breakers roar, sail, sail all along.
My girlfriend's coming over
And I'm looking to impress
Thought I'd whip us up some dinner
So there's no time to regress
I drove a couple of miles
To the local grocery store
Grabbed everything I needed
And then rushed right out the door
I got back to my kitchen
And broke out my pots and pans
Wrapped the filet mignon in bacon
And secured with metal bands
I've been cooking all my life
And I love it to this day
A master in the kitchen
Like Iron Chef Bobby Flay
At the stroke of seven thirty
I heard a knocking at my door
She came in looking like a Queen
Wearing a smile and not much more
After a hug and sloppy kiss
I then took her by the hand
We sat down at the table
And our dinner then began
To enhance the steak filet
I sauteed a little shallot
Like a taste dropped from Heaven
So exquisite on the palate
More than halfway through the meal
We were both just feeling fine
It may have been the food
Or our second glass of wine
Then to finish off our dinner
With a final bit of YUM
I made Bananas Foster
And flambeed it with some rum
The expression on her face
Was a look of sheer delight
The last thing on the menu
Will be sweet sweet love tonight
