Mystic light;
Soul awakes

Wit listens;
Humour smiles

Simply ask;
Truth speaks soft

Acid rain
Fake smiles loiter;
Skeptical spoils

Speak softly
Fragrant flower;
Beauty adorns style

Mindful moments
Peace sheds light;
Joy dwells within

Profound grounds
Deeper stillness here;
Mindful meditation
~~~~~~~~~
Look thus:
Do you see;
Poignant feelings
~~~~~~~~~
Darkness descends
Round the bend;
Sunlit hours come
~~~~~~~~~
Lines in rhymes
Verse attempts;
Feelings crystalline
~~~~~~~~~
Outburst pungent
Words regress;
Uneasy impasse

Unhurried trace
Not much said;
More meaning here

It is what it is
Reality strikes;
Memory unfurls

Dementia stinks
Meaning corrupt;
Decay remodels

Sad but true
Your good self dead;
Odd mask falls

Too many grudges
Hostile takeover;
Ugly metaphors

Evening settles
Plumerias droop;
Floral sleep time

Dreamtime
Sleepy melody;
Tipsy fantasy
