Our Claim To Fame

In the vibrant life’s ever-changing dynamic landscape,
the paved pathway across the undulating topography
meanders to the nebulous future beyond perception,
taking shape of desire in the template of configured time,
where we traverse ardently in a beguiled state of trance,
following the designed footprints of the dormant destiny.

Many surging streams in spate we swim in the storm,
with the unfurling buds of nascent dreams held close
to the adoring hearts, lest they all wither and drown.
In the valley of flowers we chase the butterflies of passion
through the melting arch of rainbow in the chromatic sky,
where our avid yearning soars on fervent wings of love.

As the spent sun sinks at the edge of fading twilight zone,
on the disappearing trail of time covered by obscure dust,
with finite breath, respiring infinite essence of delight,
and with the cornucopia of fulfilled lives we walk the last mile
across the shortening shadow of the approaching death.

We face God upright with veracity in eternity with no regret,
stand before Him looking down in devotion, not in indignity.
Our lips don’t implore, but whisper the unassailable truth
that shapes our dignified lives we’ve lived to the brim,
nurturing honesty in devout hearts embracing divinity,
pulsating with the cadenced love, wavering betrayed at times,
but recovering with the rejuvenating touch of His grace.

Our sanctified souls assert that we’ve travelled capably
through the labyrinth of ordeals with indomitable courage,
beyond the last signpost of our lives’ contented journey
to the abode of eternal peace, our claim of fame.
