Smack a man to rock bottom
to a world of pure rotten
Keep him there a year or ten
when nice and kind are forgotten
And expect a transformation
Bitterness and retaliation
Drained of dreams and imagination
Offering only evil temptation
And watch the good fall
One by one the fools
About to hand out the misery
Well that just isn’t me
Drag me too this level forever
Infinity, leaving never,
I won’t succumb whatever
Or give in to Hells endeavour
I’ll stay strong and with niceness
Compliment with kindness
Help others first selfless,
And repress acts of nastiness.
Cus that’s who I am
No matter where I am
Always lend my hand
With no return or demand
I’m nice, I’ll say it twice, nice,
Be a caring person is my only advice
Watch out for that certain snake
The person that slithers between moods
The person who takes personal issues,
using them as ammunition against others
Then, around the bend fake niceness ensues
It's as if the striking, painful words never happened
Back and forth it can go, as he or she hides from truth
This snake in the grass knows just where to go
Watch out for this snake, the motives it may have,
as this one builds plans to attack, swiftly, suddenly
It escapes accountability, leaving a path in the sand,
one with grains of salt, leaving an imprint on your soul

I've always kept my composure
Being kind and a pushover
Never fighting back when I
Am about to snap and cry
It was never in my nature
To be a cruel and mean creature
Doing for others before me
Was my life's philosophy
I liked making people smile
Heartfelt love was just my style
I never thought one day I'd be
Full of so much misery
My kindness put to the test
When it was a bully's quest
To see how far they could go
Making my anger to grow
More and more until I would
Do something I never could
Have imagined as I try
To keep the darkness down inside
Not to bubble up and make
My kind demeanor start to break
It stayed down for quite some time
Until this piece of dirty slime
Went a little bit too far
That has left a giant scar
On my heart , I couldn't keep
Niceness in, madness will creep
Out and show this big ol' bully
Not to mess with my sweet family
I'm a big ol' mama bear
Who will put some doubt and fear
Into anyone that starts
Tearing my children apart
That's when the angel dissappears
And the devil in me stares
With red eyes straight into yours
Opening the very doors
I tried to keep shut until
I have a need to fulfill
Duties to protect loved ones
Leaving bullies on the run
I wolf down my food
in a gluttonous way
chomp chomp slurp slurp
Gnash gnash slurp slurp
A throwback to a previous incarnation
When I actually was a wolf, or a werewoman?
Tummy full, I rumble off into the night.
Howling now at the moon, on my favorite granite slab.
Am I scaring you, Luna? I ask, showing my red teeth.
Full of cherry Koolaide, but looking much more fierce.
Luna laughs, exposing my truth, then she winks.
She recognizes me no matter what form I take.
Her recognition causes me to slow down and pretend niceness.
Okay to be myself now, I wait for my cubs, who are struggling to keep up with my fierceness.
I often see women who have almost completely given up
There is barely a glimmer of them left
They have been put down by an inferior being
A man who only feels powerful when he is hurting a woman
A misogynist who hates himself
Probably due to a woman
His mother
I coax them out of their hidey-holes.
I take them home.
I clean them up. I give them little drops of niceness
Which they had forgotten existed. They do not respond at first
Hating me for reminding me who they used to be
Before they became a what.
Most have run off screaming into the night
Or sneaked off with a few nonvaluables,
as I own nothing worth stealing
They cannot tolerate this niceness
It is too much
They are afraid it will kill them
Like the survivors of a concentration camp
I do not run after them, knowing better.
A bluebottle’s tale.
Flies, dark a biblical curse flew, over Alexandria
darkened the sky and hummed hell´s song.
This was not butterflies, in a summer glade.
A bluebottle got to a small hole in the window
they were bringing profanity upon the world.
I looked into its intelligent eyes a soldier drafted
to bring wars and hunger to the world,
(No, not a locust plaque that for its own sake
headless exists.)
to make wars and split nations into many pieces.
God had fated humans should remove each other,
he had made the error given humanity free will
and refused to be held responsible for this fault.
Since we are at the foothill of doom
His will be done.
A new breed of mankind, with small brains and no imagination.
of a Zarathustra or Jung, to give us the idea that we deserved
a better way to find harmony and everlasting niceness.
I want to hear you breathing
Not just know that you're alive
Proximity is vital
For my beating heart to thrive
The spoken words a niceness
You won't hear me complain
But the silence in-between them
Life's invisible refrain
I want to feel you breathing
Just the warm breeze on my cheek
As you lean across to whisper
Something precious and unique
I'll smile and nod agreement
As your face it pulls away
I know you cannot be here
Yet I long for you to stay
I want to see you breathing
In the winter's Christmas light
A gift that we've been given
Amongst other gifts this night
If only, in this season
When the nights draw into black,
All this distance in-between us
Could draw breath to bring you back
A Newspaper
Once upon a time, the Guardian was a famous newspaper
it was democratic, to a certain extent, and readers are
invited to give their view, but with moderation and niceness
If not, they would politely ban the regressor
When the paper was famous, it was a bit left-wing, but always ready to see the other point of view
It was pro-Israel, defending Palestinian artists' rights
while overlooking as long as possible, the utter brutality
of Israeli politics against, say, Palestinians
The fact that the Guardian has been able to change is its
ability to alter its stands, yet holding to their journalistic
who are not left-wing, except for some of them who
Thanks to nature and time, they have wings.
Today, the Guardian is no longer a newspaper; it is more
like a color magazine dedicated to true sex stories shies
not away from lesbianism and what we now call gayness
It caters to a younger middle class, employed in, I think
show business, or the media, with titles like TV analyst
Or a researcher of AI, who will one day make all of them
out of work
When I get up in the morning, I drink a cup of coffee and
For entertainment, read the Guardian
Not everyone has houses or lands, gold or silver, stocks or bonds, IRA’S or CD’S, Cars or cash, insurance policies, etc. But that does not mean we have nothing to leave behind when we depart this earth. The best things in life are still free, and there can be great qualities in our lives that are well worth the leaving. So why not make a ‘None-Material Possession Will’, and describe from A to Z what you wish to leave behind. i.e.,
TO AL, I LEAVE MY GOOD ATTITUDE
TO BETH, I LEAVE MY INNER BEAUTY
TO CAL, I LEAVE MY COURTEOUSNESS
TO DON, I LEAVE MY DECISIVENESS
TO EARL, I LEAVE MY ENERGY
TO FRANK, I LEAVE MY FAITHFULNESS
TO GWEN, I LEAVE MY GOODNESS
TO HARRY, I LEAVE MY HONESTY
TO IVAN, I LEAVE MY INTELLIGENCE
TO JAN, I LEAVE MY JOY
TO KEN, I LEAVE MY KINDNESS
TO LORI, I LEAVE MY LOVE
TO MARY, I LEAVE MY MERRINESS
TO NANCY, I LEAVE MY NICENESS
TO OLIVER, I LEAVE MY OBEDIENCE
TO PAM, I LEAVE MY PLEASANTNESS
TO QUENTIN, I LEAVE MY QUIETNESS
TO RON, I LEAVE MY READINESS
TO STACY, I LEAVE MY STABILITY
TO TOM, I LEAVE MY TIMELINESS
TO URSULA, I LEAVE MY UNSELFISHNESS
TO VINCENT, I LEAVE MY VIBRANCY
TO WENDY, I LEAVE MY WILLINGNESS
TO XAVIER, I LEAVE MY XENIA (Ze-ni-e [Greek = Hospitality] )
TO YOLANDA, I LEAVE MY YOUTHFULNESS
TO ZACK, I LEAVE MY ZEAL cj071507PoSp(Posted 3/23/20)
The betrayal of the white liberals
Is one so peculiar
For a party that claims allyship
Why are black people not invited
Or?
Do you already have your token
To show you are open
To the lie of progression
The covert nature of your motive
Is a secret that is no longer hidden
No tear shed for yet another innocent black victim
But outspoken to defend a republican
Then again
Birds of the same feather must stick together
The pitiful pretence of support you perform
Is evil only a 'wolf in sheep's clothing' could have
They move as if they are sleeper cell spies
Rising only for a white man's death
To them race comes before politics
White liberals 'care' until it comes to defending whiteness
They are just cowards dressed up in a cloak of 'niceness'
What? -
All to prove your differences
Or
Just as a way to boost your views
Acting like the odd one out with your 'individualistic' truths
Spare me your drawn on wounds
Especially when you have never had to walk a day in our shoes
