HEART THAT PERCEIVES GOD’S WORK IN OUR LIVES

God attends to our prayer with His presence
As we seek Him by faith’s diligence
Being glad for His loving prevalence
For our devoted persistence.
God attends to our prayer with His care
As we trust Him by faith’s courageous dare
Being thankful for His goodness we can share
For our spiritual welfare.
God attends to our prayer with His concern for our soul
As we rely on Him by faith’s direction toward heavenly goal
Being triumphant to reach servanthood pole
For our jubilant praises, gloriously whole.
God attends to our prayer with His peace
As we abide in Him by faith’s increase
Being watchful against worldly ease
For our honest motive that He alone we please.
God attends to our prayer with His compassion
As we esteem Him by faith’s vision
Being grateful that He grants us His provision
For our timely supply against dearth’s oppression.

A Master Card Ad from the late 90s comes to mind with regards to
things that are really important and tend toward happiness and joy.
"Two baseball game tickets, $28; 2 hot dogs, 2 pop corns, 2 sodas, $18;
autographed baseball, $45; a real conversation with your son, priceless."
We mortals spend a life time searching for happiness as we know it, and
although the pursuit is endless, in reality, such happiness is over rated.
But we do not realize its rating until we arrive at the 'gate of happiness'.
When we ascertain its worth, we continue our pursuit of 'endless futility'.
Animals seem content with the ability to feed, to shelter, and to breed.
The Jeremiah passage is most inspiring, reminding us that satisfying ourselves
is fruitless unless, "...we send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared..."* The happiness we seek evades us because we roam in wrong places, searching for self-perceived happiness outside of ourselves and apart from our creator. Seeking self-defined happiness or joy outside of and apart from our creator is tantamount to attempting to plant and grow seed in a steel beam which is lifeless and thus void of productive abilities. Such places and things are incapable of delivering the happiness we seek, but the real
happiness to which we give little pursuit is priceless. If the joy of the Lord is our strength, falsified joy/happiness is our weakness.

some wish it would happen, some want it to happen,
some don't know what happened and some don't even care
but if you're inspired you can make it happen
inspite of your limitations and fears
Nehemiah was compelled by the Holy Spirit he was determined in his mission
even though the temple had been rebuilt he knew the walls were in bad condition
he knew in order to make it happen you must first take it to God and pray
to allow the presence of the Holy Spirit to come in and have Its way
in order to make it happen take it to God and let Him make it His project
allow Him to process if for you so you'll get the result that you expect
in order to make it happen you need to be patient and plan carefully
and to have the spirit of preparation and a mindset of persistancy
we live in a remote control society where at the push of a button
we get an instant reaction
but the reality of life is that you don't always get instant satisfaction
timing is that all important factor when it comes to what one aspires to do
for it's not about us but the timing of God that we are all subject to
the kyros time of God will prevail no what what we desire or expect
and I don't need to remind you that God doesn't own a Rolex
as it's not about fast it's about experience when walking in spirituality
where everyone involved in making it happen possesses a spirit of godly unity
in order to make it happen you need to contribute by doing your part
with a spirit of perseverance fully in your heart
in order to make it happen adjust your priorities
with a proper perspective for your cause
and don't allow the haters to intervene nor make you stop nor pause
and be watchfull towards those who are trying to profit from the plight of the poor
speak truth to those in positions of power and let them know what you stand for
with the proper perspective patient planning, preparation and prayer from the start
God will help you make it happen as long as you do it with a righteousness of heart
The God of heaven prospers us in life building*
While we yield to His patient scraping shovel’s might
Molding us to guide others to righteousness-light
Perfecting our masterpieces by His leading.
With abundant supply of provisions’ bounty
The God of heaven prospers us in life building
As we reach-out to the lost in His upholding
Bringing them to His radiant wisdom’s certainty.
Midst varied besetting rigorous challenges
Coupled with tribulation for service-treading
The God of heaven prospers us in life building
Affirming us our labour’s heavenly wages.
In the crucible of scraping shovels’ girding
We cease not to teach and mentor through the Lord’s grace
Assured that His power is faith's foundation-brace

By His love that’s heavenly dominant
Against our carnality, very arrogant…
We thank Him midst faith He upholds powerfully constant.
