Notes About The Poem

Just Believe - 1

Discover joy in your heart
By listening to the
Thoughts
Of hope, faith and love
Sent down to us
From above

Joy can be found
In kindness
Seen
In a smile
Reflected
In the eyes

Joy can be found
In laughter
That denies
The sorrow
That penetrates
With grief

Joy can be found
In the presence
Of God’s light
Breaking through
The darkest night

Joy can be found
In the truth felt
In a teardrop
The wonder of knowing
There is nothing
To fear
And love lives
Through every
Loss that comes near

Joy can be found
In the beauty
Of a sunny morning
In the breaking
Of the dawn
The intimacy that brings peace

God’s grace gives unending joy! – Just believe

Nehemiah 8:10
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
