God knows my heart - my every thought.
He knows when I pray, what I say...
Understands my ways... even those days...
When I don’t have the patience or praise.
God knows my heart - my soul and the part...
Of me that is hidden behind walls built by fear...
Walls of discouragement, disillusion and despair...
Walls that protect those feelings that make me vulnerable.
God knows my heart - even when I don’t...
Know how to put into words... the way that I hurt.
He reads between the lines when I write...
Understanding those feelings I don’t describe.
God knows my heart - the depths of my hopes...
He comforts me when I’m lost in disappointment...
Gives me encouragement and helps me to accomplish...
All those things that I might not believe I’m capable of.
God knows my heart - my inner demons and the battles I fight...
With sadness, anxiety, doubt and insecurity... all of the reasons...
I need second chances - new beginnings and restoration;
All the reasons I have for reaching beyond my own weakness’.
God knows my heart - even when I don’t believe I’m worthy...
He still comforts me when I hurt - heals the wounds and provides...
Everything I could have hoped for... more than I could have imagined...
Blessings beyond my expectations; Grace that abounds in the worst situations.
God knows my heart - welcomes me when my hope has been lost...
Helps me to believe in those dreams I might have given up on...
Leads me through the wrong choices, mistakes, the desperation...
Found in the place where flaws, faults and failures trap my faith.
God knows my heart - remembers my moments of enthusiasm and delight...
Even when I’ve lost sight, given up on finding the strength to use my insight...
Find my way past the penetrating pain - the scars that keep reminding me...
I have been through those disheartening days.

God knows my heart - and even when I’m wrong...
He welcomes me into the warmth of a serenity...
That can only be found in the arms of the Love that He gives so freely.

God knows my heart ... as He knows yours...
And I pray that He blesses you...
With Love that is forever and always,
Eternally...A part of you.

God Bless You!!!

Hues

I would’ve lived on
in a life composed of shades—
Black, white, and million kinds of gray.
Pulsing hearts rarely made sense
when even blood was
the shade of cooled cement.

That’s why you’re a mystery—

Your eyes are vibrant, water dancing
in a grace I cannot name.
They look like celestial crystals—
like if heaven has a shape;

Your hair warm, like autumn
before wind grows chilly.
It reminds me of maple leaves
I inked to seal fall’s harmony;

Your smile stirs—something
in my paralyzed soul.
Like a gentle thunderstorm,
but instead of rain you leave petals.

The camellias caress every
fiber on my skin, the electricity—
Then I knew:

		You are color.
		You are poetry.
		You are the flustered butterfly
whom I felt across the sea.

Love Poetry a la carte

I thought:
why not write a love poem,
everyone is doing it,
how hard can it be?

First, I need a woman
(let's not drag my wife into this exercise),
a pet dog or cat perhaps.

Maybe some sexual content
(best to rule out the dog and cat).

Once I wrote about a certain flower
remarking upon its sprays of golden showers,
some smart ass wrote back asking
if I knew what the term 'golden showers' meant?
Got me thinking.

Probably need romantic sensitive moments
under moonlit glitzy stars -
pursed lips slurping up sticky passions.

What I got is a nice wife and a dopey-eyed dog,

just about enough I reckon.

(Couplet)

From the first moment I set my eyes on you
I just knew my love for you would just grow

And when you looked at me I could only see
Pure happiness just waiting for you and me

Our love could take us anywhere and any place
Where I knew I could always see your face

I just want you to know now that I love you
And that for you my love will never stray

I can't just picture my life without you now
We were meant to be together and let our love glow

Life could be so hard but God made it for me fair
When He sent you to me, so pain would be easier to bear

Now you and I always are here so close together
And from here on, for each other, we promise to care.

Premium Member When Souls Spark True Love

She loves you more
I see it soar.
You might be friends
there is no ends
when it comes to
two souls spark true.

When the warm sun
ebbs, the night won;
stars in full bloom
dressed the dark groom.

The world could give
some time to live.

Her soft eyes rise
to see the skies
light up while you
drew her close to
waltz the last dance.

A thought, a glance
flames of true love.

You gave a shove
and kissed her hard
a heart of guard
a taste of sweet
fruit as lips meet.

Wisp sounds and lights
through days and nights
caught up in dreams
my own soft streams
as you lie by
my side and tie
our breath as one.
The sky we won.

Dent My Ribs

When is it okay to swim out of here?
Solo fish laps in a loch
Wide eyes turn back in fear
My pool was safe, I knew each rock
Grab the edge, a wall once held
Tiny tank I kept so well

Tide does turn to lift me up
Dive into a deep vast sea,
Run a race of lung drum pump
Your glue gaze is a hook, with glee
Gate open lets life raft bob away
I’ve swum in your fast new sway

Out into salt and mess, wind howl
Sail taut to tilt us, roll wild rage
Yin Yang curl can’t part us now
Ship long hour, flip over next page
A song to sing with zany note
Zeal to feel wave beat on boat

Slow zone I made sure to keep
Sits in the past, eats acid
Jump for love, a huge bold leap
Care can wash a soul once arid
Take it to grow, aqua lush
Lone fins come to find twin rush

Parallel

Two soul bound shackled hearts
Whispered echos so devoted
What we share remains forever
Every love poem that is quoted

Not even in death shall we part
Living infinity in the multiverse
Together we remain parallel
Loving energy to never disperse

Legendary of all romances
Throughout space we are parallel
Loving each other deeply
All time epic romantic tale

Forever I am yours and you are mine
No other love shall ever surpass
Our love lasting an eternity
Together as time will pass

Higher than any mountain
Emotions deeper than any sea
Upon every breeze soaring
Where you are there’s always me

Love Is a Poem

Love is a beautiful person.
When you fall deeply in love.
                                       And share the same emotions.

                                        Love is a perfect place.
                                        Where two people embrace,
                                               Their feelings.
                                        Experience harmony.
                                              And glorious days.

                                         Love is a masterpiece.
                                         When two lovers connect.
                                         Standing hand in hand,
                                         Creating their painting.
                                          On a magical canvas.

                                            Love is a poem.
                                           When the two write,
                                           To each other.
                                        About their happy moments.

                                             Love is peace.
When they look into each other eyes,
                                                And say,
                                              I love you.

Premium Member Murmured Words of Love

 The dream comes gliding
Murmured words
Out of dappled swirling light
The dream I dread but also need

I struggle to get away
At the same time breathlessly calling for him
I embrace the dream
I am the dream

It always starts the same
Unfolding in a snowstorm
The sliding of the car then the crash
My dream spirit is there
Long raven hair blowing, floating

And the book of destiny opens
It is written
His departing cold fingers caress my skin
His dead lips kiss me
And the snow is falling

Then all is quiet, peaceful
His name engraved for eternity
I am shivering as real and dream entwine

And the crying, a haunting moaning
Drifts endlessly

Come my darling, says my love, come fly tonight
Deep in my dream I see his earthly face
Entwined in his arms we rival the wind
Even eternal death cannot break this love

Soaring over lakes that stretch forever
Come my darling, says my love, come fly tonight
Up we glide on his majestic wings
Where cliffs rise a thousand feet

We hover at his resting place
My tears falling and kissing his tomb
Come my darling, says my love, come fly tonight
Deep inside the dream we fly as one

It is only in dreams that he dwells
Until the pastel violet of dawn comes creeping
Come my darling, says my love, come fly tonight
And after I wear a mourning cloak, how heavy it is

And the crying, a haunting moaning
Drifts endlessly

The Classical Whisper

The tree is breezy you will come I know
The jasmine wind is waiting to greet you
The hands of the clock moving very slow
On the rose shaft sits the shining pink dew

The clouds have made the avenue so that
You can with the roses intact walk down
On the grass the glow worms at their love chat
Do get some light from them in the blue gown

The box I have left scented for the lips
The sparks I have all saved for the lightnings
That will set free the thousands of blue ships
Leading to the waves of stings and bitings

There you come it would be a scarlet coup
With the classical whisper I love you
The rose buds loosening with the red hue
Reciting in the fragrance I love you
