Premium Member Absent

We promised to link our time eternal,
and yet, in a flash, he became drained
by some incurable strain of memory loss;
forgetting the warm love that knitted our arms…

I cringe; dear life ,sanctify us from harm I pray
his eyes reaching out, though living in another realm
and this varnished portrait I now hold with tears
cannot fade, cannot erase his smile bursting my veins.

Here, in a room with cinders as coffee tunes,
my flesh, thin flesh grows hungry, a bit angry
about his world unknown to him and me : a jungle tested
by stillness or steel… he remembers nothing
of moments brewed in simple joys and discoveries,
our bodies once locked on subways and parks,
tongues livid with laughter popping shrieks
darting on tall trees, giggling, giggling. i freeze...
My black coffee freezes at the damn thought
of other human arms embracing tight, not alone.

I cling to my beloved, wishing I could give
half of my mind to fill a space of his dementia.
I close the door gazing at him, chair-bound…
I am absent today.

Premium Member The Kiss

One last kiss before he leaves,
A token vowed as they part.
A luring note creating linger as
time will test an idle heart.

Two lost souls alone in a world,
Left with nothing but this taste.
A hazy zest that must prevail for
a broken seal knows waste.

An old adventure renews a smile,
A friend whose charms incite.
A clever plot that favors a yen but
fades wanting without a bite.

His loyal spirit finds way home,
She bears the fruit of her love.
A quaint bequest worth more than
gold and honored by grace above.

A LOVE STORY

I Love you more with each new day,
I love you so in every way,
I’ve loved you since that night
We met, to be together seemed so right.
I love you far beyond the bright blue sky,
I love you when the morn is nigh,
I love you when you hold my hand,
And feel you close to where I stand,
I love your kind considerate ways,
You’re like the sun’s most gentle rays,
I love the times when we’re alone,
And cuddle up when we are home,
I love it when we’re at a party,
And hear your laugh so warm and hearty,
I love it when you hold me tight,
With all your strength, and love and might,
I love you whether near or far,
I love you phoning from your car,
I love to listen to your voice,
At any time of your own choice,
I love you, Winter, Summer, Autumn, Spring,
I’ll always be there when you ring.
I love the magic of your caring,
And look forward to a life of sharing,
To you I pledge my darling heart,
That this is only just the start,
And so I’ve bared to you my soul,
And long to fill my future role,
Of partner, friend and wife,
For all, of my remaining life.

Bloomed My Heart

Bloomed My Heart

You are the one who bloomed my heart,
came to my miserable life, and pressed Restart.

Your lips pressed against mine,
At last, fate had become divine.

you came into my life made me whole,
this feeling that is washing away not only my pain but my soul.

Your body feels similar to my soul,
you embraced my broken pieces and have played a significant role.

The pull of the invisible string is relaxed, it's a heavy sigh of relief,
I look into your eyes thinking angels do exist and believe.

even majestic rainbow stretched in the bright blue sky,
can't catch my attention when you are passing by.

you'll be the queen, in the kingdom of my heart,
I'll be the king, so we'll never be apart.

here in my arms is where you belong,
our two hearts beating to the same song.

Premium Member I Want To Write a Love Poem

A poet who was famous for his love poems was approached by a young boy who shyly bowed his head…
“I want to write a love poem…can you teach me how?” He said.

The old poet smiled.
“So you have come to me because you know how love and poetry are intertwined…and I’m guessing there is a special someone for this poem you have in mind.”

A nervous smile crossed the young boy’s face at these words the poet said.
He looked up and the old poet could see his cheeks were glowing red.

The old poet smiled again.
“My best advice is don’t start out to write a love poem…you see it doesn’t work that way…start our writing about this person…and love will find a way.”

“Take pencil in hand…and think about this person…soon you’ll find it so exciting…
How the words will travel from your heart to your brain and end up in your writing.”

“And your poem may rhyme…or it may not…it does’t matter for in time you’ll see…anything written from your heart…why…that is poetry.”

“And you’ll feel such a sense of accomplishment when your poem is done…
That it won’t matter if it finds its way to a million people…or if it reaches only one.

“And once you’ve written your first love poem…once you see it completed there…
You’ll want to write another and another…because you’ll start to see love everywhere.”

“You’ll see it in your family…you friends…your pets, the Earth…your home…just remember, if you’re writing from your heart…you’ll end up with a poem.

“And finally remember you are human…sometimes you’ll end up with the perfect poem…a poem you will adore…other times you’ll realize…that’s what they make erasers for.”

“So if you want to write that love poem, take this pencil and this pad of paper too…
I have told you how to start…the rest is up to you.”

Carol's Torment - The Villanelle Of The Song

Carol couldn't stop thinking about the song
It was just so strange and odd
But she could never forget the song
Sung to her Mike tried
But all he could do is just cry.. so sad

That morning, Carol encountered a song so wrong
She found herself feeling rather mod
Carol couldn't stop thinking about Mike’s song

Later, she realized that the song was lifelong
She tried to focus on Tod
Whom had a rather grand bod
A eight pack and a half…

Mike tried to distract her with a love poem
She said no man this too ain’t workin
Carol couldn't stop thinking about the song

Carol nosedived like a blind throng
Her mind turned into a fraud
Carol couldn't stop thinking about the song
She finally told Mike so long

Premium Member My Just Cause

I'm so far gone and loving every
minute of it, I'm here to stay
You brighten up my day in your
own special way.
I know you're not perfect and
have shown me most of your
flaws,
Understand this,I love you for the
man you are now, and the man you
will become.
And everything else in between our
relationship is my just cause.
We both know that I'm no where near
perfect.
But our love transcends all of our flaws.
So when you're down and feeling blue,
my sweet love always remember I'm
standing right beside you.

Premium Member Mystical Love Poem

You carry to my lips
The taste of honey and lemon,
My mystical love.

I feel you within me like a cresting wave,
Like the sun spilling gold on a lake,
Like a field full of birds
Rising as one into the sky.
You inhabit every part of me.

With soft fire I burn,
You carefully attendant on the flame,
Eyes soothing like a late spring breeze,
Skin white, soft as a lotus flower,
The fire burning brightly just below the tender petals.

The soft sigh of your breath
Stirs all the joy I can carry up from the depths of me,
In those cliffhanging moments
When all movement resolves to rapture,
We trembling at the peak, then starting to descend -
The sound of your sighing
Makes the stars burn all the brighter for me.

Through you I see this life
Dressed in all the beauty it can bear.
Small wonder then, this adoration of mine,
For you, my mystic love.

LOVE POEM

My Heart Skips a Beat

My hurt skips a beat at the
Mention of ur name
My mind blazes in flames whenever I think of you,
Just the smile of your pretty face forces me crack
The dimples that lie behind your fleshy
Cheek,
The majesty in your walk
Behold my hands make me feel like
a slave of your love
Let my legs run a thousand
Lovely assignments for you
Here is my tongue
Allow it to profess and attest
Your beauty in eulogy and harmony
To the world
I have nt seen yet, when my eyes have not gazed at your beauty
I can’t get my eyes off you
Seeing you doubles my lifespan
A day with you is like heaven
A holiday from hell
Dam what can I say
Am so privileged to enjoy this undeserving moments with a pearl from a place of unknown
What name can properly adore you.
You are more than just one
Rib to me
Your voice pours down with the
exciting symphony down my spine
Which rushes down my loins
And sets me high
Stay away from me lest let me die of thirst
I mean come closer and set me free
No,enslave me in your palms of
pleasure
A treasure hidden at the heart of the
Ocean for me
Let them perish those who hunger
For you
And forms an adversary to
My future.
Come rain,come shine
In every Disaster
You are meant for me
And if I die,I will await for you like a bachelor
At the other side,
And when death takes you first
A suicide will justify my love.
