A FIRE BURNING
Inside me a fire is burning,
Keeping me alive and turning
Over a message in me,
Tuning in that I am free
Because of God's precious love,
That sent His Son down from above,
Who lived 33 and a half years
Amidst sin, sickness and tears,
Sharing about the Kingdom of God,
Like a Man, midst men He trod,
Finally, crucified on Calvary,
Sinless, He died for you and me,
The best part of that day is this,
The story is not over nor amiss,
On the third day, He rose again,
Victorious over death, Amen!
For all those who believe in Him,
Life is filled with hope and hymn,
Lord Jesus is coming soon in mid-air,
To take up His children, so prepare,
In these end days we're living in,
Life is a vapour, leave all sin,
Let your life be renewed today,
Come to Jesus Christ, the Way,
In Him alone, True Life is found,
In Him, joy and peace abound,
This may be the last message you hear,
Repent, confess your sin and fear,
Come to Jesus Christ today,
Come and join me as I pray,
Let Him change your life anew,
Let Him take Lordship of you,
Accept the Saviour, the time is now,
Do not delay, I've told you how,
Then you'll feel that fire burning
Deep in you till our Lord's returning.

August 14 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Jeremiah 10-13
Key Verse – Jeremiah 10:6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.
PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR HE IS GREAT
Praise be to God for He is great:
Delivering us from dismay
Deterring us against distress
Driving us along His direction
Dealing with us amidst despair
Defending us while in Him we depend
Jeremiah 11:20 Praise be to the Lord for judging
righteously; thus, let us:
Incline to Him with obedience
Intreat Him along His omnipotence
Invest to Him our optimum offerings
Interact with Him around His openness
Involve in His outreaches’ opportunities
Jeremiah 12:3 Praise be to the Saviour Who knows us
and all about our:
Life lifted by His leadership
Labour while leaning on His lordship
Love for Him looking unto His liberating light
Limitations along our load in learning His lessons
Lack as we long to listen to Him for us to level-up by His lengthening
Jeremiah 13:16 Praise be to the Holy Spirit for prompting us
to give glory to the Almighty Who:
Saves us from soul-stinking
Sanctifies us against sin-stains
Secures us from spoilage shock
Settles us toward spiritual security
Sets us upon stewardship and service-steadfastness. Amen!

Trudging up a slate strewn track,
storm clouds gather.” Let’s turn back.”
As expected son slips over,
knee is cut, face like thunder.
“We should have turned left by the wall,
but, as usual you know it all.”
Two hours later find the path,
grimy rings around the bath.
Muddy boots line the hall,
grubby hand prints on the wall.
Sipping on some Pinot Gris,
his lordship states, “That was a breeze.”
“Tomorrow I want to reach that rock,
the escarpment at the top”.
Puts down her tea with Bergamot
“Do what you like, do what you want”.
Plasters on a mud face pack,
rolls her eyes and turns her back.
GRAY - For: Color My World - Nette Onclaud
by Patricia Lucas-Clarke
Here I am again talking about my feelings about you
A digital diary that the masses can peek into
In lieu of ink blots and eraser shavings
As worthless as the very thoughts I throw into the expanse
I think we've all figured out the concept
Of missing the precious memories, not the person they're about
They represent much of my formative memories
And yet I'm sure we'd both rather die than even talk again
We both think we were right in the end
That our Reasons were the ones worth building a world from
And thus we excised each other while leaving an uglier scar
Battered and bruised, yet alive to see the new year's light
But take a look at the ruined world you left behind
Your absolute closest friends all left after you took a new throne
Where even in the darkest nights of your previous lordship
They'd remain as ever faithful and inexorable
They fled before I did
As rats desperately fleeing a sinking ship as it dove for a whirlpool
And as the ocean's eye dragged you beneath the waves
You stood before God and proclaimed your truths as absolute
And thus, as we all move on to bluer oceans
I realize now more than ever that I was justified in the end
But that revelation doesn't bring joy, sorrow or any other emotion
What good is proclaiming victory if nothing comes from it?
There's no joy to be found in laughing in a familiar graveyard
There's no remorse to be found bragging in an empty bar
There's no solace to be found cursing everything that reminds me of you
Only the ancient memories tether me to you anymore
You and I have found wayward souls in the expanse
Kindred spirits who treasure us as we once treasured each other
But like ugly scars hidden beneath a favorite sweater
We drift closer to the forefronts of the brain more often than we'd like
Justification is meaningless without justice
Yet justice would likely mean just as little if I ever tasted it
For the sixth year that I've sung tales of the summer heat
I surround myself with everything it ever meant.

God has since creation declared
that a sabbath day is for our good
for as He rested a day after creation
so by His example, we also should
As God did His work in six days
then showed to take a day of rest
so all work is not at all good
we all need rest for our best
We owe God a day of worship
in thankfulness to His mercy and grace
bowing before Him receiving His love
praise His name before His dear face
Under the law iot was the seventh day
but when Christ rose from the dead
signifying the first day He blessed
now Sabbath is Sunday as Jesus said
God shows the importance of His sabbath
showing His lordship over them all
for He is the sanctifier of His own
showing the sign behind His call
("Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths,
to be a sign between me and them, that they
might know that I am the LORD that sanctify
them. " )
~ Ezekiel 20:12
Dearest Santa, my one wish may seem strange
but please do not interpret me as snide.
I wish this kindness so please do arrange
my Christmas gift of a mail order bride.
Surely she would lighten my hard work load,
help with the children and spousal demands.
She can be pretty or favor a toad
as long as it’s English she understands.
I fail domestic perfection with house,
Mom affection with little ones each day
and attending His Lordship, my own spouse,
because my to-do list stays in the way.
Again, this may seem most unorthodox
but this is me thinking outside the box.
I know that you must judge, weigh and ponder
if I was a well-behaved girl this year:
I tried leaving home for the far yonder -
my car died before even driveway clear;
I lace my morning coffee with brandy;
hide my husband’s tickets to pro baseball;
stuff chips under chairs when comes Priest Andy;
I oft ignore my children when they call;
sometimes I name dust bunnies on our floor;
sarcasm is my first go to coping tool;
I cheat at cards when adding up my score;
and June just past, I peed in a pal's pool.
I work hard without reward all day long,
so sometimes, yeah, I get this life all wrong.
I wish to remember why I am here;
recall romantic love that started all.
I could succeed if I had a wife-peer
helping with spousal gall and toddler brawls.
I want more than bathtubs layered with dirt
and stinking trash bordering on a spill.
Let someone else produce an ironed shirt
and seek deep sleep as an ambitious thrill.
I want memories of kids where I smile
and husband conversations standing still.
I seek family love to feel worthwhile
lest I seek happy docs with happy pills.
One or both of us can wed my wished bride,
just, please, Santa, in my favor decide.

Meditation on the 2nd Glorious Mystery:
The Ascension of Jesus into Heaven
On Lake Tiberias, Peter & other disciples went fishing
(But that night, those fishermen caught nothing)
Then Jesus appeared & told them to lower their net again
(And when they pulled back that net with fish it was overladen)
This is the 2nd Glorious Mystery – The Ascension of Jesus into Heaven
After their breakfast, Jesus told Peter to feed His sheep
(This is if he loves Him for the sake of His divine lordship)
And after a few more instructions to His disciples, Jesus ascended to heaven
(With clouds & the glory of God this way He will come again)
The fruit of this mystery – Hope
Oh God who had returned Thy Son to Thy heavenly kingdom
(With clouds & Thy resplendent glory, Jesus again will come)
The God who resurrected & ascended to heaven above
(To show what the righteous & the godly can have)
As “The Ascension of Jesus into Heaven” had shown “Hope”
Lord God, like in “The Ascension of Jesus into Heaven”, we hope to be in heaven
(Through our Lord Jesus Christ we hope that we can)
Like Jesus Christ who came back to heaven above
(We hope we can be there too by righteousness & God's love)
Praise God! We realized “Hope” through the 2nd Glorious Mystery.

May 14 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on 2Chronicles 13-17
Key Verse – 2Chronicles 13:10 But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites wait upon their business.
FAITH IN GOD WHO KEEPS US IN HIS LORDSHIP
God keeps us in His lordship midst suffering
As He eases our souls from complaint-stirring
So we can spend our days by faith toward divine desiring
While serving Him through His revival-firing.
God keeps us in His lordship midst sorrows
As He subdues our bitterness and woes
So we can face courageously by faith our tomorrows
While trusting Him, overcoming vanity-arrows.
God keeps us in His lordship midst unprofitability
As He reproves our fruitlessness due to iniquity
So we can strive by faith for spiritual prosperity
While thanking Him for smiting our futility.
God keeps us in His lordship midst gloominess
As He pardons our confessed sins with His forgiveness
So we can come by faith to His throne of graciousness
While praying to Him with humbleness.
God keeps us in His lordship midst hard training
As He orders our steps toward Biblical winning
So we can stay in His will for our attitude-refining
While obeying Him through His strengthening.
God keeps us in His lordship midst worldly violence
As He drives our courage from destructive turbulence
So we can surmount by faith doubts of afflicting prevalence
While following Him, magnifying His name’s excellence.
God keeps us in His lordship midst hardship
As He upholds our commitment in His fellowship
So we can stay sanctified by faith for holy worship
While exalting Him, submitting to His fellowship.
