What became of the elderly man who habitually lingered outside the pub, a toothpick perpetually perched between his lips?
I often pondered the significance of that toothpick—it seemed to serve as a silent emblem, a mysterious token of his unspoken thoughts.
As children, we absorb the world around us, processing our myriad experiences as we grow. When we reach adulthood, we find ourselves striving to unravel the complexities of those early moments.
I’ve always been captivated by the habits of grandmothers, particularly the way many would discreetly tuck their money beneath the layers of their skirts. I can still picture her, clutching her cherished apron, its fabric soft and faded, evidence of countless meals prepared with love. Even when we navigated the lively streets of the city, that apron was her unwavering companion.
Now, reflecting on those customs I once found peculiar, I recognize how the toothpick and the hidden money represented their ways of coping with life’s myriad challenges. The old man who so often graced the pub’s entrance has since passed, joining countless others who have left us. We gathered to honor their lives, sharing fond memories and kind words at their funerals.
Yet for me, the echoes of their lifestyles continue to resonate, capturing fleeting moments of nostalgia that refuse to fade away.
She ventured limitless miles,
creating for herself, beaucoup
lifestyles.
She cannot be locked in a
sumptuous home, nor in your
selfish heart.
It's simply not her way!
But you can find her dancing
with daisies with no shoes or
socks.
Totally free, for she will never
follow you down any dock.
Beware,as she will intoxicate
you with her Spumante-like
mahogany eyes.
With invitations to come and
play!
Always with a sensuous surprise!
Forever blowing kaleidoscopic
bubbles in your direction.
Thus, enticing you to taste of her
angelic total freedom..
Life's delight and indeed, its total
and sweetest confection.

Staying Focused
Written: by Miracle Man
10-07-2019
Living in my past,
puts me off life’s track.
I focus on what’s ahead,
occasionally glancing back.
I don’t dwell on long ago,
at good times mixed with sorrow.
But I seek those things,
God has planned for tomorrow.
While each of us has,
divergent lifestyles to live.
We should each have a testimony,
that we’re willing to give.
For someday like a vapor,
candles flicker and are gone.
Our witness to others,
for a time will live on.
I can only accomplish,
what I think that I can.
I must rely on God daily,
for I was made just a man.
LIVES NO LONGER FRAGMENTED
Their lives in fragments, no longer,
they've left, "Valley of Shame".
They're no longer "Nobody,"
they're somebody ... with a name.
They're a composite of females,
complexions of all hues.
Variety of nationalities,
"entitled" ... paid their dues.
Don't assume women illiterate,
or of a lower class.
That they are "ladies of the street",
or girls ... living too fast.
Don't assume and don't imagine,
worst lifestyles, daily see.
These are ordinary females,
ladies ... like you and me.
Framented by something in life,
heart and essence erased.
In past, saw themselves invisible,
no soul, no heart ... no face.

"A glaring light in our House
Us arriving felt happy
Carrying a creature oh how's
Mine Wife finally smiled ,resting
Amidst is a cute brown baby
Almighty God's extreme wow !
{2}
Am myself before so rowdy
Disorganized in lifestyles
Who would have thought easy ?
Full of giggling mystique highs
Coz the child born prematurely
Oh heavens know our insights !
{3}
Let it speecheth forevermore
Need humble experiences
Real humans don't overboard
Everyone relate senses
Of being so active galore
Here ,wear the baby's essence !
There are two kinds of cultures
- Defined in different ways
In different countries and lifestyles,
Valley vs Mountain, Settled vs Nomadic
Or in modern America, City vs Country -
With their two opposing attitudes,
“Let us tell you what to do!”, and
“Just leave me alone…”
It’s a simple dichotomy really
Of a group and collective orientation,
And a more individualist and self-reliant one
Based on the reality of survival
Each different lifestyle requires.
Different people have different affinities
And many self-select to live around similar types,
But there are plenty who find themselves living,
Out of family or work or relationship needs,
As a minority, a stranger in a strange land
Like that little contrasting dot within
The swirling drops of yin/yang’s polarity.
But these two cultures, as complimentary
As they are, also divide the nation
Not just geographically;
East and West, North and South
But politically;
Left and Right, Socialist and Conservative
To some extend sexually;
Female and Male
And generationally;
Parents and Child.
It’s a conflict of cultures we all experience
But sometimes never grow out of
Or find the freedom from, and peace with.
The two after all are opposites
And the one wanting to tell you what to do
Is by definition more motivated to find the other
And tell them what to do…
It’s the world we live in,
But at some point it seems
It’s just not sustainable.
Things fall apart
When they aren’t maintained and kept organized,
Oh, and here come those who have volunteered
For that job!
Now order rules the day, and chaos
Is always better kept way over there.
There are no frontiers left to explore
And escape into anymore
Other than the inner realm of mind
Imagination, dreams and fantasies
Or an addiction, dysfunction and disease
- Plenty of chaos available in those -
Or better yet, a good book in the man cave,
A quiet sit on the cushion
Or walk in the woods…
Something, anything to give us the peace
We all need
From that nagging persistent voice,
Outside and within,
Telling us what it thinks we should do
While we just want to be left alone
To discover it on our own.

There's certainly a wide-ranging variety of different cars
From the Model T to the Tesla -- no longer wildly popular
People want choices to match their lifestyles and moods
Manufacturers want trustworthy cars that can 'deliver the goods'
Reliable rides -- solid, unspectacular engines under their hoods
Rich sports stars tend to go for muscle cars and speed
Jaguars, Porsches, Ferraris; Dodges, Pontiacs, and AMCs
Famous celebrities, of course, crave the ultimate in luxury
Rolls Royces, Mercedes, Lincoln Town Cars, and Bentleys
Nerds and computer geeks worship the ways of the Japanese
They drool over Hondas, Toyotas, Mazdas, even Mitsubishis
Which brings us to the environmentalists, willing to pay a bit more
For hybrids, electric cars, even ones that run on cooking oil and Indian lore
But I've saved the final two lines for a new car so incredibly smart
That without any driver, it appeals to cutting-edge intellectuals
~ and fearless hearts
A new year is approaching fast,
this one will be over at last.
We crave to socialize, that's plain,
and yet we shouldn't be too smug,
covid is still a superbug.
This virus continues to drain
our resources with tasking trials,
for older folks and juveniles.
Yet, wearing masks is not in vain,
they're both effective and low-cost,
used once, then conveniently tossed,
although often worn with disdain.
A new year is approaching fast,
think today, don't dwell on the past.
Soon loved ones will gather again,
and we'll finally get that hug
that's far better than any drug.
And breaking free of covid's chain,
we'll unmask the beauty of smiles
and resume our lifestyles.
Go out to dine or board a plane,
reclaim those precious moments lost.
Celebrate life, despite the cost,
and put aside our tears and pain.
Let's be hopeful and less downcast
it's time for fireworks and champagne,
the human spirit's unsurpassed.

Unless it's an Indian gift from the karmic sky-gypsies
it’s not going to last.
Maybe you have lots of it,
but sooner or later
the 'told you so' pigmy bobble-heads of Mu
will make it known to you
that they are watching your every distracted move,
and their taking receipts
back to long abandoned thrift shops.
Amazon's plastic chop suey
will keep you spinning in circles like a drunk skunk.
The very wealthy flush it 2 times
just to clear their own much trapped crap.
Stuff is also for the downtrodden masses,
who renovate it to fit their cramped lifestyles.
In the end it’s all utter clutter
that digs the captive soul
deeper and deeper.
Best to gather together what no one wants
then wait,
until inevitably -
they do.
Betrayal, and Lust walked hand in hand.
Together they wrote their names in the sand.
Entwined as one in this forsaken game.
Pleasurable misconduct without guilt or shame.
Preying on the vulnerable, the lonely and weak.
Luring their victims with charm and mystique.
Toxic violations brainwashed by fear.
A path of destruction has landed them here.
Milking them dry of their voices to speak.
Draining the innocence of the souls to keep.
Now puppets on a string and under control.
Doing the devil's work devouring the soul.
Selfish endeavors of what they will gain.
Lavish lifestyles of money and fame.
Dancing in the moonlit witching hour.
Chanting the spells to enhance their power.
The pentagram swings to the beat of a drum.
Blood is spilled and the sacrifice is done.
Gazing at each other with satisfaction in their eyes.
Hungry for another soul to condemn and stigmatize.
