Kidnapping your love, is not a good plan, because it will no longer be love it will be a forced plan.
Not a love that is given, but one that is controlled, by the one that is taken.
Taken away from all their life, giving them no sun or shade to grow and feel nice.
Yes, it may be a dream, to control your love, to have them at your beck and call.
Controlling your love, would result in hate and anger and make you feel like crap .
Love is a feeling of free will, loving is something that you can not control, it is given by one’s own will.
Any thing forced, results in resentment, leaving one to work toward getting away from the prison.
Loves, always let your love be free, to come and go at there needs.
Love is given freely like the sun, that shine on us from above, giving us light to make us bright and guide us throughout our life.
Thank you loves, for reading my rhyme.
Lifting prayer to God, for life and love and beyond.
David Morris
1840-1914
I was indeed a rich man!
A lucky man, a family man,
A man firmly ensconced in the faith
Of the Nazarene.
It is written my friends
That to live for Christ
Is the summit of wisdom,
For wise men still seek Him!
And to die for Christ
Is the absolute acme of human existence.
Rachel and I came to this heaven on earth
When the roads here were dirt in the summer
And mud in the winter.
Yes, me and the missus,
My lovely bride and me,
Found a home here in 1894
A comfortable curtained home on shady Milton Street
When the unburdened trees
Of ten thousand acres
Contained a myriad of feathered fledglings.
And so, with our own five chirping sparrows in the nest
The missus and me, we marveled at
Their gregarious growth and
Their high intrepid flight!
To the northern icy regions
Our first fragile sparrow flew.
Lizzie, my fledgling wanderlust,
Found simple salvation in a cold wooden Iowan pew.
And later, found everlasting life and love
On the frozen Arctic tundra
Of ten thousand luminescent northern lights.
As far north as Dearing Station, my friends,
Twenty miles from the Arctic Circle
Our Lizzie travelled,
Travelled with steadfast faith,
A faith so firm, so unyielding,
It put me, her proud and faithful father,
To shame.
The steps of the stage make a sound so crude
The scratch of the speaker gets me right in the mood
The tuning of the instruments is soothing to my ear
The humming of the chorus takes away my pain and fear
I'm flying with music all night long
I'm flying with the lyrics of this song
I'm flying with the rhythm towards the sky
I'm flying in the melody and my heart knows why
This number always releases my inner chains
The beat of the drums is the pulse of my veins
The striking of the keys always takes me higher
The riff of the guitar sets my soul on fire
I'm flying with music all night long
I'm flying with the lyrics of this song
I'm flying with the rhythm towards the sky
I'm flying in the melody and my heart knows why
The roar of the crowd tells me what's in store
Its time to rock and roll as I count from one to four
The harmony of the band will take away my hurt
My life and love is playing a live concert
I'm flying with music all night long
I'm flying with the lyrics of this song
I'm flying with the rhythm towards the sky
I'm flying in the melody and my heart knows why
As daydreams drift along the wind,
to distant shores my mind does wander,
tender thoughts of life and love
within these dreams I always ponder...
I’m taken back to younger days,
the carefree times and endless sunshine;
summer nights, good friends and cheer,
and morning walks along the shoreline.
And thoughts of lovers from the past,
sweet memories of tender passion,
through my life have come and gone,
yet fill my thoughts in pleasant fashion.
But now as days are growing short,
I’m thinking of the time I squandered,
still I think of times gone by
as daydreams through my mind still wander.

Do you surrender?
Or will you be strong
Do you love him tender?
Or will you let him once again be gone
Do you feel with him is where you belong?
Or will you let your life forever be one sad song
Do you believe it was meant to be?
Or will you tell yourself the way you feel for him is wrong
Does your heart long to be free?
Or will you allow yourself to live in agony
Do you go after what you need?
Or will you finding yourself letting your heart bleed
Do you remember it’s his eyes you got lost in a gaze?
Or will you submit to the haze
Do you feel like you are going crazy?
Or will you let yourself think just maybe…it could be again
Do you long to be held in his arms?
Or will you be able to resist his charms
Do you want his lips to kiss?
Or will it be him you will forever miss
Do you when you close your eyes see his smile?
Or will you let the distance between you always be miles
So many questions you have in your mind building up by the piles
It’s up to you to find your answers and to survive
Hopefully again life and love with him can thrive
But you never know
What life’s gonna show
It’s him you can never let go
Do you admit to everyone how you feel?
Or will you let it be your sanity it steals
When i lay awake and fear overtakes my mind
Your arms are the safe haven where peace i find
Your soft warm embrace
Takes away the painful tears running down my face
My hero,my strength
My every breath,my life so greatly lent
My weakness you have turned to power
Thoughts of you fill my heart hour after hour
Your lips are my saving grace
Your heart is where i feel safe
My hero,my greatest love
My miracle sent from a throne above
I am yours mind,body,soul
It is only you my hero that makes me whole
You are powerful but soft
You are defined but rough
My Hero my intoxicating dream
My source of life and love supreme
You are my hero a mortal being
But your powers are greater than ever before seen
Hidden under a mask of humanity
You bring to me peace and serenity
My hero,my soul companion
With you i shall stay un-abandoned
My Hero My Mortal.............
When my mind is aligned
with my astrological sign
my poetical energy flow intensifies
and the power
of the Capricorn mind comes alive
so I can verbalize
the inner thoughts of my mind
and spout poetry
that can touch the public mind
beautifully
because the synergy
of my mind and spirit
gives birth to a soulful vibe
which allows my words to glide
through the air
and slide
through your earlobes
and probe your mental
penetrate your membranes
tickle your senses
while putting you in harmony
with reality
when it comes to life and love
my spoken words
have the power to inspire
to lift you higher
inject you with the desire
to see things from
a different perspective
you see
my message is to edify
uplift
educate the hearer
to feed the hungry mind
through lyrical rhyme
the strength of my dialogue
is designed
is designed to be a thought
rearranger
to turn a procrastinator
into a dream chaser
to make a follower
become a visionary
to teach someone to be
objective
and selective
when choosing the right roads
to travel
in their journey through life
let's be clear
I'm not a motivational speaker
I'm just a deep-thinker
and when my mind is aligned
with my astrological sign
my poetical energy intensifies
and the power
of the Capricorn mind
comes alive
and I can create
a well blended melody
in my mind
which has the capability
to put sweet music
in the heart of the listener
at least
this is the mind-set
of this Capricorn poet
I remember Grandma's kitchen
When I was a newlywed.
To learn to cook was important
But not as important as what was said.
As she kneaded bread on the counter,
Teaching me how to cook,
I learned so many important things
That didn't come from a book.
Side by side we would stand
Kneading bread as we chatted on.
We talked of life and love
And how sometimes things went wrong.
I was blessed to have a Grandma
Who was always there for me.
I still get teary-eyed
When in my memory I see
The two of us, side by side
In a kitchen, so very small,
Whether baking pies or kneading bread
Or not even cooking at all.
Would you dance
if the music played long and loud enough?
Take my hand and spin round the floor
looking back at life experiences excited and bored,
short, happy, sad and all too brief,
time steals away moments like a thief
but you and I, we could dance
sway and swirl, waltz in the dreams of the world
for hope and peace, common sense emptied of all grief;
would you dance
take away the postulating circumstance
of who, how and why we are
content in these moments beneath the stars;
smile, laugh, weep tears of joy
trip the light fantastic with Helen of Troy
or your favored prince charming toy;
You could dance
dream the dreams of youth long lost
pay the price of living life's easy choice
or steel your spirit, heart and soul
to forage through the life you know
with me and our love that grows
as time and these melodies begin to slow.
In the end, when all efforts seem to intermix
woud you dance in the last hours that tick
on the clock and final two step dance oblique
when life and love are individually unique;
take me body, hold it tight to his or hers
and lightly trace the memories explored
while in the dance. I am forever yours.
When I was young, I wasn’t always sure
If following my heart was the thing to do
Should I allow feelings to play a part
In the decisions that drove my thoughts
There were times when I followed my heart
And I don’t mind saying, I was a little hurt
There were people who took advantage
Of my kindness and compassion, my faith
But, in the end, I finally discovered,
Following my heart was the answer
To the yearnings that left me with questions
About life and love… the dance of hope
I eventually learned that I might sometimes
Be hurt, but if I gave my heart’s desires
The chance to have their say… I would
Be happier, more content and satisfied
Because, in the larger scheme of things
It’s the heart that answers all your wants
For a joy that comes alive and breathes fire
Into the soul, where you can always know
Love is alive… thriving and guiding
Giving back to the spirit all that it needs
To be sure it is pleasing to the One above
Who gives us all the gifts we receive
Gifts of love, hope, faith… feelings that live
Within our souls and teach us to glow
With a light that is destined to bring us all
Warmth from within that reaches heaven’s
Angels with singing, bringing poetry alive
Like a chance to begin a new life
That thrives with a kaleidoscope of colors
Enlivening the joy that delights with pure wonder
