For His Love -Sword,Land,Hope-

A knight wields a sword
after the killing of his love,
a beautiful maiden was she
God sent her, from above.

They loved each other truly
he was the King, of his land,
wanted to marry the maiden
asked her father, for her hand.

Her father gave them his blessing
known each other since they were young,
had the hope, to one day marry
the maiden's heart, the knight had won.

On the day, the wedding came
dragons flew in the sky above,
there for the maiden and knight
in the celebration of their love.

Off in the distance, there was trouble brewing
clans that were not invited, stood,
the young knight and maiden
knew they were up to no good.

These men of uncleanliness
jealousy raged in their hearts,
tried to steal the land from the knight
had set fire to his hay carts.

These men did their very best
to get the maiden as their own,
but, she, was smarter then they
said she had a heart of stone.

But, they knew she had lied
when they saw the ring on her hand,
they tried everything they could
to put her under their command.

These no good, filthy, mongrels
had broken up the wedding day,
they laughed and drank merrily
didn't matter, what anyone had to say.

Each had a sword at their side
waiting for the chance to a fight,
teasing the guests at the party
which wasn't at all, very bright.

The knight and his beloved maiden
tried their best to stay together,
but, they ended up, getting split apart
during the nasty, rainy weather.

All hope is very well lost now
when the unwanted clan starts a fight,
the knight tries his best to be calm
fights them off, with all his might.

From behind, there came a scream
so horrid and so very shrill,
"The maiden is dead!" someone screamed
the knight saddened, with tears, his eyes did fill.

How could they have done this to him?
He ran over, to be at her side,
this was the day, to marry his love
and he wasn't with her, when she died.

He didn't want her to die in vain
time to up and be a man,
he had to get even, for her
and protect his ancestry land.

A beautiful maiden was she
God sent her, from above,
a knight wields a sword
after the killing of his love.

Premium Member The moon casts its silver vault over the ruins of modernity

The moon casts its silver vault over the ruins of modernity,
Where the souls of conservatives and progressives meet in an endless dance,
Of mistakes and traditions, I find myself carried on the wings of a stream of consciousness,
Contemplating the contradictions that define our ephemeral existence.
The progressive, with his heart of fire, steps forward, without looking back,
Embracing error as an old friend, inventing new paths,
Delving into unexplored abysses, in his eyes each mistake
Is a step towards a bright future, a candle burning in the night of ignorance.
Yet, in his frantic flight, he does not see the ruins left behind,
He does not feel the pain of those who fall in the shadow of his steps.
The conservative, with his heart of stone, stands guard at the gates of the past,
Fiercely defending what once was, in the pale moonlight.
The ruins become sanctuaries, and the mistakes of yore
Are transformed into sacred legends, he looks with reverence
At the remains of a bygone era, seeing in them an eternal beauty,
Untouched by the passage of time, in his eyes any change is a threat.
Thus, a tragic dance is born, in which each new mistake
Of the progressive immediately becomes a relic venerated by the conservative,
It's a symphony of contradictions, a fragile balance
Between momentum and stagnation, between dream and reality.
In this play of shadows and light, each soul
Is trapped in a snare of its own consciousness,
Trying to find meaning in the chaos of the modern world.
And I, a mere observer of this melancholic spectacle,
Let myself be carried by the wave of thoughts, seeking answers
In the silence of the night, perhaps the truth is hidden somewhere
Between the ruins of the past and the promises of the future,
In the heart of each mistake and in the beauty of each tradition.
Perhaps balance is nothing but a dream, an illusion
That disintegrates under the cold light of the moon,
In this divided world, we remain prisoners
Of our own beliefs, navigating among ruins and hopes.
Seeking meaning in the endless flow of consciousness,
And, in the end, perhaps our only solace
Is to admire the ruins under the moonlight,
To find beauty in imperfections and to learn to live with the contradictions that define us.

Comfort Zone

In shadows deep, she seeks her rest,
Where pain's embrace feels like a test.
Her heart, a fortress, cold and still,
Where echoes of her anguish fill.

The girl, once bright, now lost in night,
In comfort found in endless blight.
For though it hurts, it's all she's known,
This solace in her heart of stone.

To step into the light, so bright,
Would blind her eyes, extinguish sight.
For happiness feels out of reach,
A foreign land, a harsh speech.

She dwells in comfort in the gloom,
Where shadows reign, where fears consume.
Her dreams are tainted by the past,
The pain she clings to, holds her fast.

Yet buried deep within her chest,
A flicker of hope, a silent quest.
But still, she lingers in the shade,
Where comfort lies, where wounds are bade.

For though it hurts, it's all she's known,
This darkness that has been her own.
She finds solace in the numb,
In the silence where the shadows hum.

To leave behind her comfort zone,
To face the light, to stand alone,
It's a journey fraught with fear,
A path that's never been more clear.

Yet still, she hesitates to go,
To leave behind the life she knows.
For though it hurts, it's all she's known,
This darkness that has been her home.

But deep within, a voice cries out,
A whisper of a twisted doubt.
A call to step into the day,
To let the shadows fade away.

And though it scares her half to death,
She takes a breath, she takes a step.
Out of the darkness, into light,
She spreads her wings, begins her flight.

For happiness may be unkind,
A stranger to her tortured mind.
But in the light, she starts to see,
The emptiness of being free.

To leave behind the pain and strife,
To embrace the beauty of this life.
For though it hurts, it's not her fate,
To dwell forever in this state.

So hand in hand with twisted fate,
She walks away from shadows' gate.
And though it's hard, she starts to find,
A solace in the dark confines.

For happiness may be unknown,
But in the shadows, she finds home.
And though it hurts to live this way,
She knows that darkness will hold sway.

Out of the light, into the night,
She leaves behind the feeble fight.
And though it's painful, though it's grim,
She finds a comfort deep within.

               ***********************

Desert dazzling daisy,
Enchanted by the delicate dance of the wind,
swayed gently under the warm sun.
Its vibrant petals caught the light,
creating a mesmerizing display that drew
the attention of passing travelers, the light of dawn,

At dusk, it fades akin to fireworks.
Brilliant blooms of
dandelions, born from
a bounty of love,
are bettor than barren
baubles of diamonds,
which emerge from a heart of stone.

Fantastic flair fills
hearts with fervor,
as fleeting fragments fade
such dewdrops dancing
delicately on dainty petals.
An ethereal essence elevates,
joyfully bouncing in the
the atmosphere as dew emerges.

Roaring rivers of red rage
in a realm buried
beneath darkness,
holding treasures,
tattered threads,
tossed at the threshold,
gently cloaking love,
longing and light.
In a blazing embrace,
spitting at soaring ships,
smoldering swifter,

Togetherness and love soar to the loftiest heights.
mirroring a midget mirth,
As a mantis mercilessly mauls its mate,
Carefree, courageous, captivating,
this scene is filled with frolic and fun,
then they could scream
the fury of forgotten freedom,
fervently flaring.

Leap into the loving arms.
of a waiting parent—
Truly treasured is trust.
There is joy in returning that love
love is not a ledger;
It doesn't tally totals.
But for the parents,
Who do they leap into?
Trusting love will be met.
with festive feasts
and fine wine.

Progenitor of all progenitors,
to whom the past is pinned,
in whose hands the future flourishes,
famed for nurturing the finest—
for joy and wellness,
seeds sown and reaped,
life rekindled,
form of finesse and fortitude.
To heed His harmonious hints,
with serene Sunday pauses,
to ponder and perceive
how one might overlook a signal
and shift into reverse,
to regain the path
and reach a radiant resolution.

A paradise of playful,
peaceful pauses,
and who in truth
can truly doubt,
Gazing at the humbly honored
His everlasting love for us,
His cherished children
for whom He chose to die?

Many Years Ago

You shine so beautifully…don’t try so hard
Hello sunshine…it has been years since you haven’t rose from depression
But, you finally got through the war and you won…it’s over with…you made a good last impression
On your friends before they kissed their demises…don’t be miserable, beloved bard

Beauty was flying and it never dried from sight
But that was many years ago

I woke up on a fresh morning…on a clean slate
Hello moonlight…it has been years since you haven’t disappeared from sight
But, you finally lost the battle of survival…and you must accept your failures and move on with life…become friends with the sunlight
Before it loses its appealing effulgence…before it faces crisis…I’m happy in my optimistic state

Hope was abiding near our side during divine flight
But that was countless years ago

You were mine like jewels connected to my body…please don’t discard
This wonderful opportunity…it has been years since you haven’t waken up from suppression and captivity…you groan
But, you believed in your perpetual future and now you’re gone…hopelessness barrels in this heart of stone
I’ve fallen in the same pit of deceiving paradise…life can get hard…

I know…baby, don’t try too hard…
Keep up your strengths and never show them your weaknesses
Show them that their demises
Isn’t the right answer to solving daily issues
Isn’t the right solution to demolish the blues…...........

Dreary, Weary Me

It was such an uneventful day today
Tonight, I want to prove otherwise
To my Father above, but maybe someday
It's a windy night in the desert...walking tonight would be rather unwise…

It was such an unremarkable day
Tonight, I need to pray away the pain
That's been kept concealed in my heart of stone...I, alone, can't stand this dreariness - no way!
It's a windy night in the desert…I'm wishing for rain instead not to go down the drain

It's such a mundane time for me inside my cranium
It's a mind-numbing numbness I can't quite fathom
Stimulate me with your serenity and everything in between
I'm as dry and worn-out as dust on your clothing, left unseen

Banal words and worthlessness irks me at times like these…
I'm bothered to the extreme, so I want to let go of my worries
In the brisk desert breeze
To set you and I at ease

I've become wearisome and alone lately…
Frankly blind as well as smiling miserably
Please save me from my lonesome state of mind
Please give me back meaning in life, so I can find…so I can find...
Solace for my fragile feet to run to,
Happiness for my fingers to brew,
Progress to make and to freely undo,
And Peace for my hyperactive mind of rue

God will give it to me in due time, in due time
His kindness is as ripe as fresh fruit in its prime
But, this ugly sorrow is like grime upon my soul
You're still beautiful today and tomorrow as a whole

I'm sorry that I wasn't productive in this short life
I'm wanting freedom and liberty away from strife
I spent my time on my pleasures and foolish leisure
Instead, I should have looked up to You and be mature

I'm just a tedious, hideous and preposterous beast before the dawn; dusk is gone,
Left on my own in this castle, filled with coldhearted lies in which I feast upon

I made a good impression on the Lord this afternoon, doing nothing but troublesome ways...
I gave up trying to do what is right in the past like a buffoon, doing ridiculous tricks for silly praise

I am not a circus buffoon for all to simply laugh at
I am not a beast that is neglected and alone
I am not a foolish man or a reckless and dirty rat
I am just a boy who wasted time on his phone..

In Silence, I Call For You

My love, where have you been all my precious life?
My darling, how have you been through all this strife?

I loved you for so long ago...
What about you, my dear?
Beloved, I used to know...
All the lyrics to your heart beat beating
Without hesitation, without any fear or without a tear
Beloved, you are still in my heart of stone, constantly repeating
Words of love

My love,
Where have you been all my precious life?
My darling,
How have you been through all this strife?

In silence, I call for you
In silence, I call for you
I know it’s out of the blue
But, darling, all I say is true
In silence, I call for you
In silence, I call for you
All of you and me belong together
Although our love strings aren’t forever

Entangle me out of the darkness...
To reveal the light in the abyss
What about you, my dear?
Beloved, I know the trace of your tear
To the trace of your lips without a fear
Memorized the lonesome lyrics to your hefty heart beat beating
Without hesitation, without any fear or without a tear
Beloved, you are still in my heart of stone, constantly repeating
Words of love

My love,
Where have you been all my precious life?
My darling,
How have you been through all this strife?

In silence, I call for you
In silence, I call for you
I know it’s out of the blue
But, darling, all I say is true
In silence, I call for you
In silence, I call for you
All of you and me belong together
Although our love strings aren’t forever

Intimacy takes a long, long time to endure
Through these hardships and tribulations
Intimacy takes a long, long time to find a cure
To these aches, sorrows and frustrations
I encourage you to be trustworthy with me for an eternity
To let go of our past demons of reality and seek a tragedy in reverse
I encourage we find remedy to our lovely serenity
To find the little needle in the haystack before we assume the worse

Oh, my darling angel, how I loved you all my long-lost, love-bound life
Oh, my beloved dear, how can you truly get rid of my bottomless strife?

The Roaring Storms Pursue Us

The storm becomes darker roaring like a lion,
Freezing the pieces that are left behind this broken heart,
Times up…
What we once knew isn't clear anymore,
Once lovers are now zombies chasing us in this apocalypse I call life,
Our haters that bully us become our worst nightmares,
But yet they give us fuel to keep going, not giving up half way there,
Stay strong, young one,
By the way is ok to be alone with no one by your side,
I stay away far away from everyone, for I do not trust society,
Not even my own shadow do I stand close to…

Among us are crowds of strangers,
Some happy...some down...
Others fuming in a terrorizing sound
And as I am surrounded,
Though I am positively crowded,
I am so desperately alone here
As if these strangers never existed..
As if existence itself is merely a dream,
A sleeping dragon's never-waking nightmare,
Withholding wisdom that a mere figment of the imagination
Could never DREAM to attain
Locked in this chamber of disdain
Oh how long have I waited
For some seaside rain
For the antidote that will heal all of these infected
To find true love resurrected

Don't be ashamed of this hope that clings on
Do not be torn by the majority that say you are wrong...
For within the depths of hate and darkness,
An indestructible strength will emerge
Immune from life's sickly, demented surge
A unique blood running through the body and soul
Creating in you depth, endurance...and control
Your heart will glisten in the tears all around
Because no matter what happens, you will always be moved
You will NEVER become a heart of stone
But a martyr fighting for what's right
In the hope that someday
Darkness will meet light
In a balance that will only generate
Smiles...and bountiful laughter

The storms will roar on in pursuit of our souls...
But their blows are so far behind us as we soar
Into an endless ocean-shimmering sky

Only love will drive us—and the rest that binds us—
Say goodbye

In Between

In Between
By Kevin Robey
March 7, 2013

Bite my lip, to get through the pain
Might as well, I guess it’s all the same
Today or tomorrow, results are consistent
And here I was, hoping to feel different

It’s days like today, I think of the final solution
But when I speak of this, you call it noise pollution
Days like today I wonder, what waits for us at the end?
I fear thoughts like these, will soon become a trend

I think of life, on those final days
Where resolve unravels and frays
I hope you’ll find a way to forgive me
When I finally fulfill that final fantasy

With eyes closed shut you cry, but I smile
No regrets, already went that extra mile
Let’s speak of the fear, no longer reigns
Filed it away, the true source of my pain

Now I’m free of this all consuming plague
Sorry if I seem more than a little vague
Am I dead or finally coming alive
My cold body seemingly defies

There was no fixing this heart of stone
Now it seems I’m no longer alone
Still I try to deny my rhythm song
Am I fighting, or just playing along?

My head’s in the space that lies between
The happiness and the terror unseen
You billowed my sails, away from that stormy cove
Where I held the wheel, but was demons that drove

This took a quick and drastic turn I know
But I hurt more than words could show
Now that I’m lifted out of that haze
It all seemed like such just a phase

In and out of that menacing quall
There’s some fight left in me after all
I leave the bones of demons behind
When up ahead, there’s more that I find

But what gets me through with a smile
Is to hold your hand, let it stay a while
You have your own battles to fight
We fight them together, this is our plight

It’s a bittersweet, nothing left but memories
You speak of my smile, truly a sight to see
But it’s not my smile, it’s actually yours
You hide it so well, but I asked for more

So we ditched the standard grins we use for pictures
And found honest ones, to become our fixtures
You found me, turned this sad song into a happy one
I know in my heart, this is a sign of things to come
