The Duality of Judgement
A heart of stone, a mind of fire,
Each judge, each desires.
One sees the flaw, the fault, the sin,
The other seeks, what's hidden within.
A silent hand, a whispered word,
A judgment passed, a soul unheard.
Yet in the stillness, a gentler gaze
Forgive the darkness, find grace.
The stone may crush, the fire may burn,
But in the heart, a lesson learned.
For judgment's blade, a double-edge
Can wound the soul, and break the pledge.
So let us choose, with open eyes,
To see the good, beyond the guise.
For in compassion's gentle light,
We find the truth and make things right.
