Trace then clear face
Face clear then trace

Charm breeds winsome smile
Smile winsome breeds charm

Glimpse joins fond sight
Sight fond joins glimpse

Strange as change sets spree
Spree sets change as strange

Verse telling hampers talk
Talk hampers telling verse

More or less fronts wit
Wit fronts less or more

Life and death moves mind-map
Mind-map moves death and life

Do you spell my name?
Name my spell do you?

Bad and good gone rogue
Rogue gone good and bad

Sunny fun floats free
Free floats fun sunny

End and start frames peace
Peace frames start and end

Feel warm voice that speeds
Speeds that voice warm feel

THE LENTINI CURSE

THE LENTINI CURSE

A moment please, as I try to think upon it
A number of rules to apply in fourteen lines
It seems that it could be one form of sonnet
Four lines per stanza that a quatrain defines

If paid by the word, such a pity it’s not billable
For the poetic accountant, a natural proclivity
The time cost is counting every damn syllable
It ends up as a dampener on one’s creativity

Please note there’s the petty rules of rhyme
And it must also end with a two line refrain
Some may even say that it’s a waste of time
I’m not too sure that I’ll write another again

So I’ll wrap it up now, at least for this session
As it really hampers my freedom of expression

Punctured Potter

there was a punctured potter
whose wills strained shuffled shudders
meagre muds moistened massive moans
dark traces drooled, gaunt glows

hoisted zeal hankered hampers:
eerie efforts pruned pulpy pesters
lanky labour leered, futility feigned lame
crushed contractions, callous confetti's crave

damp death drilled his plague
sumptuous suck, nosy nectar's crest
potter birthed a son,a generation then another son
whilst masticated malady mimicked, poring pawns

the keener he carved a shape,
soaring swifter contractors come for claims.

Mindless Moments

Life is a saga of suffering
Selfishness stings
Harsh words hurt
Past pains pounds
Mind is miserable
Thoughts torment
Tears take a toll on you
Peace is lost

But life must be lead
Tasks to be finished
Crying hampers health,
How to be happy?

I finally found a simple solution
Complete concentration
At the task in front
Mind and senses at the moment
Observing, feeling, enjoying
No thoughts, no pain
Calmness, joy and bliss

Past is dead like previous births
Future an illusion
This moment in front
Waiting to be lived, enjoyed

To allow it to slip away in thoughts
Stupidity
Serving no purpose

A wonderful world waiting to be enjoyed
Enjoying it by living every moment fully
Permeates peace
Promotes joy.

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO IS GRACIOUS TO US

April 7 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on 2Samuel 12-15

Key Verse – 2Samuel 12:22 …Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO IS GRACIOUS TO US

Praise be to God for being gracious to us always with His:
Promises we can trust amidst His provisions
Presence we can thank along His protection
Preservation we can triumph in against persecution
Peace we can testify about in our prayer
Prosperity in our toil while we progress

2Samuel 13:39 Praise be to the Lord Who grants us
His ready comfort to in our sin-confession:
Cheer us against frustrations
Correct us of our failures
Care for us with His forgiveness
Carry us from fear with His freedom
Check us of our faithlessness

2Samuel 14:14 Praise be to the Saviour for
devising perfect ways to:
Answer our fervent prayers
Apprehend our false pretenses
Acknowledge our fulfilled pledges
Ascertain our fruitful persistence
Abase our fatal pride

2Samuel 15:31 Praise be to the Almighty Who
warns us not to listen to foolish counsel that:
Harms our minds with controversies
Hurts our souls with compromises
Hardens our hearts with criticisms
Hinders our faith with conveniences
Hampers our conviction with contradictions. Amen!

Strictly assigned to confine,
The world need my eyes to surely comply,
I'm battling the gestures of 'don't try',
Mouths wage confusions from deep reply,
You're sensing it in conceated line,
Fame and dollar would get your dapper fine,
Do'nt assume!
Mum won't get you back to presume,
The niggas are competing with double cheques from room,
Digital conformity next to push reign into doom,
Crazy for left over,...charlie,
Take me to the salon,
Shave my face to look like 17th century snoop,
Ambitious to win the heart of humanity in part two,
Seal the spoken word from heavenly route,
Negros talks about real nipper sailing to the top,
In fact, who is piling my motives into shock,
Newton is licking his fingers on golden rock,
Yeah,...Yeah...Yeah,
The game did drown with hustlers,
I was their chief among paupers,
Yet,society don't believe were we sat behind counters,
Life in me shows the conspiracy of laughters,
Immigrants toes removed to add more members,
Edified,...rectified...mobilised on assessed numbers,
Catch my little bird to tell you much of my profound chambers,
We've made it to the onion thrown of lovers,
Charlie....
Give me real prunks to elliminate total view of dream killers,
The world seek for my hope in priceful hampers.

Passionate Stranger Constanza

I shall confess my secret aim:
To make you mine is what I plan;
But would you want me as your man?

I wonder how to light your flame;
And if you’ve even noticed me.
Are you alone - or can’t it be?

How can I get to know your name?
I dream about you night and day;
Yet shyness hampers words I’d say.

My heart is true, you’re not a game;
I offer more than just romance;
So please agree to take a chance.

But could you ever feel the same?
I write these lines and long for you;
And hope you’re thinking of me too…

I shall confess my secret aim:
I wonder how to light your flame;
How can I get to know your name?
My heart is true, you’re not a game;
But could you ever feel the same?

New City Street

New city street

With the wink of an eye
and a shuffle of feet
We wandered about
down a new city street
Where vendors wore blue
with a tangerine sash
In hopes to look good
with no chance it would clash
Their carts were adorned
with ribbons and beads
And funny designs
made of cantaloupe seeds
They hollered and bellowed
and beckoned us near
And when we did stop,
they let out a loud cheer
They offered us products
like peanuts with cheese
And daffodil handkerchiefs
in case we sneeze
Belts made of feathers
with buckles in red
And weird little cones
you could wear on your head
We bid and we haggled
but always were nice
To get a good deal
and a much better price
The street lined with houses,
most two stories high
With windows like shamrocks
reflecting the sky
The balconies all featured
ribbons and bows
That hung from the railings
such colorful throws
Where women were calling
to neighbors across
For clothes pins and hampers
they hoped they would toss
They spoke in a language
so funny to hear
For what they were saying
was not always clear
The men were all mending
and tending the place
Their hats cockled sideways,
a grin on their face
The knees of their jeans
were all covered in patches
While they polished the brass
on the handles and latches
It seems they were singing
an old fashioned song
We tried to join in
as we walked right along
We laughed and we giggled
so much fun was had
But we had to leave
and that made us both sad
So we promised each other
that we both would meet
Again very soon
on this new city street
fun

I hear voices

I hear voices.
That leaves two choices
either I'm hearing what's real
or my brain needs to heal.

I don't hear the voices outside
I don't hear them when I take a ride
I hear them when I try to sleep
as if gremlins behind my wall will creep.

The words are sometimes clear
Most often its just the tone I hear
A tone of gloating, dominance too
They know there's nothing I can do.

A drug floated to my frame from the roof
locked onto receptors, a cascade without proof.
I can't tell the cops, they'd send me to an asylum
The shrinks wouldn't believe, I know, I tried them.

One night, I protested the drugs were not FDA approved
Up above, something creaked, something moved.
A woman's voice said "who cares?"
So unexpected, I was taken unawares.

I've been pumped with drugs a very long time
can't convince the FBI of a new type of crime.
Bad guys can get in your house, then drug you
without outside help, what could anyone do?

I bought a scope, inserted it behind a wall
The space was too dark, saw nothing at all
Couldn't enlarge the hole, due to pipes, wires too
I couldn't pinpoint the source, not enough of a clue.

You might ask, if these drugs seep
how they change your body, so you want to weep
Some amplify your urge to reproduce
Drugs to control and can always tighten the noose.

They can wake you up each time you drift to sleep
So petty, so nasty, a moral dive so steep
They can damage your brain, damage your heart
Nobody comprehends why you're falling apart.

Suppose this is crazy, as the professionals "know."
It raises a specter, a scenario.
What if medical knowledge can be used to hurt, control
While disbelief hampers, makes the police AWOL.

I believe I'm drawing a curtain back
You can look or decide it's a schizophrenia attack.

The first Test at Lords

Picket chitter chatter about posh pitter patter at Henley Regatta scoff for that matter at the natter which does flatter SW19 scene & don't give a jot about that lot at Ascot..the big ticket for the English toff summer is a visit to the home of cricket..

Old father time’s hold over his many wards

Mystery of the history hoards told marauds

Nooks & crannies mould books of records

Symphony scored sold on adored chords

Famed for the gold framed named boards

As teams and bold dreams cross swords

Peruse the queues that start before 8

Members remember the embers of fate

Quest for best seating you can’t be late

Bleating a fleeting greeting at Grace gate

Blazer with crest for their guest do wait

Dearly nearly yearly meeting with a mate

Linen suits competing cahoots see a spate

Die hard scorecard scribe should venerate

Suss a them & us tribe vibe does permeate

Josh subscribe to a golly gosh folly & fete

Farce awash with fuss cloche on nosh trait

VIP pass posh wally with off his trolley gait

Bollinger harbinger scoff do quaff a crate

Just ar*e twee look at me upper class date

Holler that working class squalor will irritate

Elite no blue collar street scholar reprobate

Bacon & eggs hues repeating Test portrait

Prices vastly soared stop ghastly hordes

Boxes chock a block with corporate frauds

No fan roared everyone…politely applauds

Panamas, trilbys or fedora do doff towards

Caveats for toff twa*s cravats Lords awards

Our fancy dress is outlawed caused discords

Sneer at beer from kegs cheer more Landlords

No dregs shaggy hair diadoras & baggy cords

Begs no diaspora from poorer smorgasbords

A ticket to the home of cricket though affords

The chance to roam and to reap rare rewards

Champers is poured toasting the scoreboards

Stored hampers explored boasting the accords

Hosting encores bar detours welcome to Lords
