Rogue

"Rogue"

What a joke
Yet it's not a hoax
It's getting gross
Folks constantly at each other's throats
Quick to brag and boast
Making an out of pocket comment after another croaked
It's not all cloak and dagger, stay woke
From coast to coast
I took notes
And moved around like a ghost
At times I cut it close
And almost
Was toast
It's been difficult to cope
Addiction is a slippery slope
While walking a tightrope
Continually took a toke
And saw the smoke
Fly high beside a giant Oak
There's been no antidote
Yet another beer plus a Jack and Coke
For a long time been down bad and broke
Either I sunk or float
Remaining dry or soaked
Nope I didn't see, or I saw it through the scope

Happens in each and every zone
Humans always out to pick a bone
Obsessed with the throne
Fast to throw a stone
Don't come at me with that tone
Like you've gone down the same road
Yet you're just continuing to drone
And similar to all these other clones

Only if needed speaking in code
Intentionally went rogue
Otherwise from others my cover would've been blown

I should've known
It'd be like this even inside home
As well as all across the globe

In others hard to place trust
At times this world seems to be far from just
In and out of many ruts
I've been unscathed and got many cuts
Many fast to cuss
People causing a fuss
And to spill their guts
So that it throws another under the bus
Yup, I'll tell you what
I know this world can be nuts
There's no if ands or buts

Struggles and triumphs in life as well as with earning cash
One disconcerting fact
Learn that, there's no turning back
This all is hurting bad
And turning sad
Yet still all this disturbing crap
I thought for once it was one thing we were working past
Just kidding, since the dawn of time it's been determined that
Still we treat each other worse than trash
Often gunshots, getting burned or stabbed
Among all the curving paths

Premium Member Spinning and Winning

Nickels or pennies, dollars or pounds,
Feed those machines, can you hear your heart pound?
Spinning and winning drawing you in,
Feeding a frenzy before you begin.
One dollar here, a few hundred pounds
Soon you are dragged in, about to go down.

It’s an addiction feeding those sluts,
no use complaining or spilling your guts.
It's exhilarating hearing the sound, of yet one more silly bonus round.
Yet still, we sit on that comfy chair, often we utter an earnest silent prayer.
God does not listen to those wishing prayers for a game to land often and pay us again.
Spinning we do each and every day, no matter the promise
We can’t stay away.

The reels are illusions, to make us forget, it is our hard earned money we sit here and bet.

We are all losers, sitting on chairs, feeding a frenzy, a re-trigger to get
What is it really, why do we bet?
A bonus round comes, excited we sit, to collect a few pennies after hundreds were spent

Slots are ruthless a sure way to lose, some are addicted, to heroin and booze.

Off to the tables for a bit of fun, that is like holding a loaded gun,
Spin the roulette, and hope for your number,
See your bank balance soon go under.
Go to Black Jack think to count,
they are not stupid, they have covered the shoe,
No chance of winning whatever you do.

But it does not matter we say to ourselves… when in denial you cannot quit, you often hear people begging for a few quid.
I like to gamble, really I do, control is not easy when an addiction is true.

Do not let gambling take over your life, you may end up losing yourself and your wife.
It is not funny, nor is it unreal, that powerful addiction we have for the reel.
Some weekends I lose thousands a night, that does not scare me nor give me a fright. That is the addict's plight.

Premium Member Despair Not

Don't you make room
For dark despair,
Let peace now bloom
To flood clear airs.

Don't be afraid
When all seems lost,
Let joy kill dread
To cover cost.

Don't let the dark
Bring hurl of fright,
Peace is the spark
That channels light.

Don't let some fear
Force you to hide,
Light will show clear
The ego's pride.

Don't let despair
Shape wrong address,
Style your own flair
To dare express.

Don't you give in
As shadows fall,
A light within
Answers your call.

Don't let the world
Castrate your guts,
Dance your own swirls
And brave each cut.

Don't let fear tell
A sad story,
Brave how you dwell
In true glory.

Don't let the fake
Break you apart,
Truth helps you make
A healthy heart.

Don't live with hate
That poisons mind,
Love is the gate
Where fate lives kind.

Don't be blind then
As fancy stalks,
You must know when
To walk your talk.

Don't fear the truth
That sets you free,
Live ample proof
As love funds spree.

So kiss me once with passion

Walking never hand in hand

Maybe we will crash and burn
Thats alright by me

So Thats how it’ll be

Keep your ing hands off me
But stay here by my side

Walking never hand in hand
‘Cos you have to hide

Premium Member The Fading Fire

The heart of our star, a ceaseless furnace, begins to wane,
Its hydrogen spent, its helium core the final grain.
The ancient balance, a dance of fire and gravity’s pull,
Now falters, as the life-giving light rises less than full.
The core contracts, a desperate, conclusive, fiery breath.
The outer layers bloat and swell, embracing cosmic death.
A Red Giant structure, a monstrous, ruby, burning sphere,
Swallowing Mercury, then Venus, as the end draws near.
Our own pale dot: the earth, is scorched, its oceans turned to steam,
A silent cinder in an extended forgotten dream.
In this last act of defiance, the solar winds will roar,
Shredding the star’s own self, a shell of gas and dust no more.
A beautiful, sad dispersal, the stellar guts unfurled,
A vibrant, glowing nebula, a shroud around our world.
Central to the spectacle, a tiny, dynamic light,
The Sun’s remnant, a White Dwarf, begins its eternal night.
No longer fusing elements, just cooling, growing dim,
A silent headstone to the star that once filled every brim.
And in that stardust, scattering, advancing far and wide,
The iron in our blood, the elements where life could hide,
As it yields to the universe, a legacy of grace,
It is a part of the endless cycle, both time and space.
The star is gone, its children are the proof it shone so bright,
Our atoms bound to wander in the everlasting night.

Rattling my Silver Sword Quiet

Dandelions shivered when patient
               you breathed here
unknotting ropes across my prison door
your deeds proceeded surely dear
guitaring songs of war and love for all to hear
as petals opened dripping yellow blood
               guts writhing the knots inside
Black Excalibur tourmaline handle swish, hiss
silver soothing a red hot spine

Now your taste, smell and touch is
          away, bays floating
in space you sway calling my name
silvery shadow and amber locks the same
rooted to stable sea spun docks
I watch our atoms entangle acid muddled
              grandfather paced the passage
Excalibur Black gold lacing swish, hiss, wish
my exactitude assessed strategic sword’s desires

Soaring your steady head
      observes luminal Ashtar
          breathing into two hearts whispering
deadening longing loosening its hold
though my wishes held by penalties
bond remains sealed in aeonic sky bold
faces and aces merging quiet quarking
Black Excalibur blade swish, hiss, wish
          all preconceptions sharpened dissolving

Serapis’ turquoise chiffon turban blows
          binary seeds arching fold
unborn worlds as you forward peer
will arms aching or wings fluttering
shorten shimmering light I cast fast
across stoic heights set between
throbbing Hearts of bloodless waiting ?
      grandmother continued baking bread
Excalibur Black pointed_____ swish, hiss
            silver cymbals clashing duality

throbbing Hearts of bloodless waiting
bloodless Hearts of throbbing longing _____
Black Excalibur pierced Hearts open
            Love quarks floats in ether
               black-white to remain in static
I do not melt despairing, though brain cells are dissolving
It is ONE who commands all silver
a stainless steel colander fell
                                     rattling my sword quiet

Premium Member Is Pizza A Breakfast Food

Is pizza a breakfast food? Damn right it is!
It'll soon be on IHOP's menu
They'll have an item called “Pizza Benedict”
Topped with a sweet syrupy goo!

If you haven't tried it, don't go “eeeew”
It'll put hair on your chest for sure
You ladies will need a depilatory cream
For us guys, it'll add some allure

Bacon Temptation Omelette's a favourite
But when served on a pizza crust
It'll be one of IHOP's popular items
Pizza flavoured hash browns are a must

There's no accounting for people's tastes
Elsewhere, they must think we're nuts
Pizza is a real staple where we live
Probably why we have such big guts

Is pizza a breakfast food? Damn right it is!
The yummiest breakfast food going
With bacon and eggs and pizza sauce
My love for this dish is overflowing!

Introductions -Part 1-

Underneath it all…
No, not clothe-less—not naked…
Skinless…we’re traveling DEEP within…
Imagine your skull cut…split right in the middle,
Opening up to reveal your AMAZING brain,
As the rest of your body unfolds…
The fancy clothes…the hair…the young or old,
Bones exposed…organs revealed…
The pupils of your eyes growing and receding,
As you look upon yourself…
You don’t know him or her yet…
The blood is spilling freely and you welcome the sensation that you are now experiencing
The heart is rapidly THUMPING from the sudden exposure
Your lungs feel the air on top of it,
The air that it works with every day—suddenly, it is foreign to it…
Teeth chattering, it is raining now…
The water is COLD as hell on Mt. Everest
Mt. Everest is bare…snow-less, compared to your cold, exposed body…
And no oxygen is needed to survive…
The reveling waves of your mind are forming all of these feelings…
You stand there,
Without a blink or blemish,
Staring at you…
There is no thought that you cannot decipher in those inner features…
Your brain is projecting a film in the clouds above you,
As your skull and skinless neck turn upwards toward the heavens!
The fat of your present has melted into the ice…
The guts are not needed for this ride…
No glasses needed either,
No jewelry…no tampons…no knives or guns…
Your eyes only glue themselves subconsciously towards the awe-full projection before you…
Now…NOW you are being introduced to yourself!
Your defensive Alzheimer’s disease is giving you a rest…
You are faced with the pictures of your PAST…
The ugliness…the PAIN—
The excruciating TRUTH that your memory withholds from the rest of the world…
Some even know your secrets…
But they can’t feel it the way YOU feel it—they never will…
The happiness…the comfort…the BEAUTY…
You see it all unfold in a movie,
Sound effects reverberating all around you,
The organs twitching—almost, with a mind of their own, embarrassed…

There is a man that I am aware of, who delights
In our 'old blood and guts' he says he'll fly that
Flag forever.!!! Now some may well think him nuts.'
Yet he quotes about lines of lin-iage and of an
Australian commonwealth law, of treaty called
For and ratified in Versallies 'is this all for sure?' He
Speaks of God king and country, of indissolluble
Rights.? And that we have a freedom to bear arms (indeed to fight) in our countrys protection, for our own lives..And those of familiy and friends ( now are we all kings in our country? If this is right lets get on the mend)
Is this what he is 'speaking today?' Is he right and
Sincere.? Should we lend him our ears.? Are there
Gems in the claims he portrays? Should we all raise (the duster) that is also called the 'blood and guts' that has seen us often to victory.' Is that
All it takes as such.? What if a tbousand law savvy? 'i am talking now credible folk' gave him some room, and consultation? To try his claims now.' To see.' will this all hold up? for there may well be truth in the bloke.?
