Get Ready
Blind lane of life ending in death.
Getting ready on final step,
while to feel life at every breath.
Completed duties ! I have full faith.
From my earthly life wish to scape.
Blind lane of life ending in death.
Enjoyed life : More or less sound health.
Victory - defeat took normal shape,
while to feel life at every breath.
Seed of death embedded at depth
of life ! No question to escape..
Blind lane of life ending in death.
Either fell weak or ran with strength.
Received resistance or got help,
while to feel life at every breath.
Yet to meet end of life at length.
In last phase no wish for myself.
Blind lane of life ending in death,
while to feel life at every breath.
My patience is wearing thin
I don't know where to begin
With how much I am detesting
All this hate this is now testing
My tolerance to the limit
We need lots more love to trim it
Purely out of our existance
Where did everyone's resistance
For these evil emotions go
As this worlds starting to show
More and more of this darkness
We need to find some smart sharpness
Inside all of us and spread
Caring and kindness instead
It's in each and everyone
Since the whole world has begun
But somehow it's been fading
Blackness covering and shading
The bright light that used to flicker
Each day making us more sicker
With a hateful sad disease
I am begging pretty please
Do not let the badness win
We can try to start again
I've loved poetry for the longest time
A favourite poet is Robert Frost
"A Road Not Taken"is very dear to me
Every time I read and re-read it, I get something different
The message is never the same.
"Don't Copy Cat" is another poem I enjoy
He wrote a short little verse that made a lot of sense.
"Don't like the cat, try to get more out
of an experience than there is in it.
The cat, having sat upon a hot stove lid,
will not sit upon a hot stove lid again.
Nor upon a cold stove.
A lesson has been learned here!
Then there is a small verse by 'Anonymous'
Titled " The Moron":
"See the happy moron":
He doesn't give a dam!
I wish I were a moron-
My God ! Perhaps I am!"
This makes me giggle every time I read it.
No matter what type of poetry I read
I get a special meaning from it.

Girl, how can it be
You turned into my old account
And laughed at me for being stupid
And no longer taking responsibility for you
I was so cruel to myself that I didn't dare
To admit my misunderstanding of love
I'm not sophisticated
How can I distinguish between good
Bad and bad people
How can I be sincere to myself
And treat every love between people
Who live in the past
Seriousness is not enough simply
Why are we all suitable for memories
We deny it, do you want to be precious
We can only reject every possibility
Who cares and who do you want to go
We could not simply met peace with ease
It's torture for us, we simply cannot admit
Girl, sorry, we're through, we go our own ways.
Beliefs are conjured by mind
Vicarious knowing
On choosing to exit its bind
We keep flowing
Sans thought, identity recedes
Yet awareness self aware is
Power of Holy Spirit then leads
Throbbing within as bliss
From noumena rose phenomena
The first impulse Ohm
Deep stillness resolves this enigma
The vast void our home
No ism may bridge the duality chasm
Yet silence sets us free
Bliss beats throb in mind-body prism
When head and heart agree
How may the unseen truth be described
We each must feel it alone
Have ye not as yet bliss thunder imbibed
How then may this be shown

Word sorceress was overwhelmed with daily ideas
Her spirit guides, power animals and angels were busy
Pouring ideas into her soul at a frightening pace.
Cat wanted faerie poems, dragon was insistent on butterflies
Owl and chickadee wanted her to write of trees, roots and mushrooms.
The gnome did not care what she wrote, as long as it sounded angry.
Word sorceress listened to them all, and then did what she wanted.
Taking a bit from each idea and forming her own poems and stories.
People asked her where she got so many ideas; she could not say.
Her guides and angels kept themselves in her subconscious mind.
sometimes i lose myself
in the obstinacy of night
beyond the umbrage of shadows
that fall within its tenebrous self
'tis there death dances
spinning around wayward souls
tempting them to follow
into depths unknown
i feel the strength
of fingers hold
beyond turned wrists
pressing firm
within the brawn
as shallow breath
exhales stale air
i see its face
from clouded moon
reach out to me
dubious that i will fall
silent within the rise
of bloodied skies
that morning brings
i feel the mist of its breath
fall upon me like night's fog
as it beads atop my brow
i succumb to thoughts
within restless mind
sprawl my ink
upon the sheets
of paper-white
and write again
within the darkness
that night unfolds

To be truly free one must unshackle themselves. First the hand shackles followed by leg shackles. Feel them in turn flying open and free.
Now try flapping your arms feel yourself leaving the ground there you go
you can now fly. Try a few loop the loops and spins see Of course you can.
Look, look over there its Pukka Simba bounds over Pukka he cries lets have an adventure. Oh yes how spiffing an idea lets set course south by east looping round Zanzibar on the way and then on to the Serengeti So off they set and arrive an hour or so before dark. We sat eating and drinking under sparkling stars. We laughed and laughed till bedtime
AT dawn we set off for the distant mountains Quickly we were above them
as we landed a mighty voice said who dares trespass here on my land
an enormous elephant rounded the corner. He told us his name was Tembo
he wanted to own a special blood red stone stolen by the pirates of Zanzibar
A haggled old witch said any one wanting the maiden of the moon must
get the pearl of beauty from the pirates for her. Wanting to help the beautiful moon maiden and Tembo they put their head together and came up with a good plan to brew a powerful potion to put them to sleep til we meet again
and we will take a break for another day
We truly believed things would change
after years of sweat and sacrifice
planting seeds in borrowed soil
watering them with pieces of our youth.
Day after day, we sat in rooms
learning how to nod and pretend
studying to lead, to build
to heal nations with thought and pen.
Month after month, we challenged our minds
told ourselves we were shaping futures
learning to analyze the world
while slowly unraveling our own.
But no one warned us
some seeds don’t bloom in this system.
They lie untouched beneath polished shoes
as we wander office to office
resumes soaked in sweat and regrets
chasing hope down corridors
that echo with the same reply:
“We’ll get back to you.”
