Wildflowers hesitate,
Breathing in the clear air
Inspiration so brilliant, alive
With whispers of faith
Purity in gulps of gasping, panting
Flavors of chasteness
Wholesomeness...
Transparent feelings, blessed
Healing all the past…
With clean, cool innocence

In the meadows,
Over the mountains,
Tiny petals emerge, soft
Tender reflections
Of the earth’s heartfelt
Laughter, its peace
Serenity so blessed, so honest
It feels like a smile
Falling down from the heavens
Exalting the One who created
Every petal, each stem
All the laughter from Him
Poured out on an earth
Too lonely, too timid
To know a God this big
God who is like a gentle embrace
Yet, fills up the whole place
With His love, His stirring, His spirit
His grace and sacredness

In the dreams,
Coloring the reflections
In gaping grape and soft rays
Of tangerine sunrises
Pink skies on the horizon
Where mystery smiles questions
Through the impressions
Stifling a sigh, a sign
That life has just begun
For the one who believes
He sees the rising Son as the
Caress of a hand so big
So wise and kind and sure
That He is like light
Raining hope from the skies
Painting hearts in faith
Baptizing souls in amazing peace
He is the silence and the shout
And He never leaves anyone out
Of the song He sings,
The song of redemption
Faith’s melody sparkling through
The night sky like pearls
Glimmering in the heavens
Reaching down to remind
He is alive and He shines into
The one who listens to His
Direction, His way is prayer
Praise and worship so sacred
It affects every pore,
Each sweating drop, echoing
His wisdom, His love
That knows only generosity

Skies soften who know
He comforts, heals and radiates
The meaning of grace, peace
Love that is so alive
It feels like the trembling
Thunders and caress
Of rain, soft and flowing
Down to touch the spirit
With aliveness that thrives
On giving, filling hearts
With gentle breaths…
Love so radiant it lights
Up the entire world
With His glory, His splendor
Magnificence so praiseworthy

Praise Him …
Eternally, wholly
Forever and ever!

Amazingly, your eyes gleam freshness from heaven.
Before you were seen, you were resting in God's heart.
Clinging to mine, it cannot cease to overflow.
Drawing meaning into life's every crevice,
Each given breath you take awakens mine.
From the moment I first felt your ripples inside me,
God gave me a wink of a new beginning.
Hope filled blue painted ceilings and little drawers.
In a father's mind, his name would carry on.
Joy so grand became our parents' inheritance.
Kicks affirmed your livelihood nightly.
Laughs and tears were shared in placental connection.
Monitors suggested your precious health was well.
Nestled in my womb was the safest place for you.
Oranges and burger flavors reached new taste buds.
Prayerfully, we rested in the unknown outcome.
Queasiness came as contractions strengthened.
Rushes of adrenaline kept my birthing body vigorous.
Surrealism saturated our minds, studying each feature.
Thankfulness touched us like your new skin's warmth.
Unable to conceive of this mystery, opaque joy flowed.
Vast gifts were given, but that of you keeps on giving.
Wonders await each new stage we'll embrace.
Xerox copies of significance collect in your photo box.
Yesterdays accumulate practiced artistic expression.
Zealous praises stretch to heaven, for we are blessed.

The beauty in the beast

The beauty in the beast

To strangers, I am broken glass,
sharp edges,
reflections of mistakes scattered in the
dirt.
They never pause to see the light
bending quietly inside the cracks.

They see the ink on my skin like warnings,
the nights I've lost to smoke and fire,
the weight of choices that stained my
name
a beast carved by mistakes, not by
chance.

Inside my heart blooms a secret garden,
roses of love with thorns of strength,
lilies of peace that calm the storm,
sunflowers turning always toward hope,
and violets, quiet but full of grace.

I am more than the shadows they whisper.
My soul holds flavors they'll never taste
like chocolate melting slow in the warmth,
a sweetness I've saved only for you.

I give the world my beast to survive,
but I give you the beauty they'll never see.
You are the one who softens my edges,
the one who knows the real me.

No one knows the weight I've carried,
the flaws carved deep into my name
but you've touched the ugliest parts of
me,
and still found something to love.

Your presence turns my scars to stories,
pain into something that breathes with
meaning.
Through your eyes, I am forgiven,
through your heart, I am reborn.

The world will never pause long enough
to see the light rising through my scars,
but you, my love, gather every fragment
and make me whole again.

I was the beast the streets created,
but with you I am the garden,
with you I am the sweetness,
with you I am finally seen.

So when the world remembers my
shadows,
I'll remember your light.
Because loving you is proof enough
that even a beast can be beautiful.

Surrounded by a liquid, warm,
I feel it soothing my new skin.
My hands and feet move all around
to touch these soft walls here within.

I soon hear something calm and sweet
     that lulls me- and such comfort brings;
a muffled voice that fills my ears;
a lovely sound within that rings.

This liquid has so many scents
as I breathe with my mouth and nose.
They all smell good; some wake me up
and others make me want to doze.

And now my taste buds come alive
with all this soup that I drink in.
So many flavors I can taste;
this brand new sense, I now begin.

There's something bright my eyes can see;
though filtered, it is softly seen.
This glow is new, eyes opened wide,
right through my shell, I see the sheen.

Here, in my Mama, I'll grow big,
and soon will make my grand debut.
My strong five senses are set up-
and in her womb, they tested true.

Mary Jane Part 2

Bubba Kush and lemon haze
All these flavors I wanna blaze
Pass the grinder and my tray
Wake and bake to start the day

Sour diesel and blue dream
A hybrid makes a good team
These two strains are so harmonic
Now let’s sit and burn the chronic

Grandaddy purp and wedding cake
Puff puff pass for my own sake
Ride the high ‘cause I need a break
Munchies! Time for a chocolate shake

Maui Wowie and cotton candy kush
Spark that baby up and light that bush
It doesn’t even matter what strain
The green goddess hides the pain

Yes we love you Mary Jane
As you flow right through my veins
“But she’s not good for your brain”
Ignorant people are such a drain

Inhale, exhale, drop the ash
Even when the weed is trash
It doesn’t hurt to keep a stash
The only green as good as cash

The simple things couldn’t mean more
The stepping stones to what is in store
For you and me on this road filled with light
Our words connecting through day and night

Our favorite songs shared together
With moments floating light as a feather
Board games to play, just to have some fun
Talks about animals, sights in the sun

The simple things that mean so much more
That weave lives together, stronger than before
Things we like to make, cook and eat
The flavors of cookies we like that are sweet

Creativity flows with inspiration across miles
I read and I write with so many fun smiles
The simple things, nature also brings us too
We share in harmony in a song so very true

There is a quiet
that comes from each dew
falling gently,
in rhythms who ensue
trembling echoes
feelings brand new
inspirations, in flavors
sweet joy to pursue

There is a sweetness
In every prayer, all grace
Pouring from the Father
Who offers love’s embrace
Revealing the wonder
In a wonderful life can’t erase
Wonderful that tells me
His love we can’t replace

There is serenity
In the moments of praise
Notes of still’s wisdom
Scriptures surely amaze
Pouring out hope
Into the spirit, on Sundays
When we seek Him
This light of forever and always

There is One
Who my heart knows
He is the answer
To a love that grows
He strengthens
His love surely flows
Righting each moment
As the wind softly blows

There is one God
One who is the light
He is the answer
The One who makes things right
He is the beautiful
In each heart’s fight
He is the miracle, the One
Who stills the darkest night

There is only One word
To tell the heart and soul
What it means to believe
What it means to be made whole

There is only One word
And that word is grace
Never stop coming to Jesus
Who will always amaze

I love the Father
I love the Son
When I get to heaven
I hope to hear well done!

Lonely Has a Hold of Right

When did we all start walking backwards
When did we stop listening for the truth
Was it before or was it afterwards
Crazy was set on cruise

It wasn't like this in the beginning
Does this mean we're nearing the end
Is this how Satan makes his living
Throwing blinders over the minds of men

Have we been played for a song off key
To the tune of hold on tight
I remember when wrong used to be so lonely
Now lonely has a hold of right

Crazy now comes in different flavors
One for each day of the week
Twice on Saturdays to share with the neighbors
Cartoon crazy at it's peak

Yet to some this all seems normal
Where right is wrong and wrong is right
Which makes me think we're headed for trouble
All loose change without any dimes

Humming along to a song off key
To the tune of hold on tight
I remember when wrong used to be so lonely
Now lonely has a hold of right

Not to take away from the point of the poem but the last part about the dimes is interesting. Google: Why do I keep finding dimes everywhere.
I find dimes so often I looked it up...very strange.

Silver Threaded Divertimento

Watching a sway of a Chinese lantern
in colors the shade of your smile,
paper laced dreams in curvature shapes
suspended by silver threads

Ripples of koi pond whispers
slowly beckon in moonlit gestures,
as we sit counting fireflies,
hypnotized by our beating hearts

Cascading serenade,
enchanting the evening divertimento
Lotus blossom fingertips softly
caress parted lips…smooth

As I drink in your fragrance,
tasting the flavors, your moistened lips
simmering upon each breath…
warm, offering a honeyed embrace

Gazing longingly upon porcelain skin,
a tempting star shine glow…
we melt as one, mouths entwined
drenched in serenity

while deep within our silence we speak,
not of voice…but of love

Premium Member Sweet September

Inspirations falling down
Like stardust kisses
In vibrant mahogany and gold
Bold, flaming whispers
September’s soothing calm
Sharing tender serenity
With the cool joy of dawn

Imaginations coloring hearts
Like flamboyant September skies
Laughing lights in the eyes
Singing melancholic poetry
Into the moonlit night
Trembling with soft sensations
Prickling silence through zephyr

Illuminations touch the soul
Like miracles falling, exciting, alive
Beckoning spirits to listen, to hear
The freedom found in a teardrop
Melting away the darkness
Praising the One who brings life
With September’s breath of serenity

Immortalizing September’s love
Like the throbbing of rainfall’s thought
Beating away all the dirty and wrong
Baptizing dreams in flavors of belief
Awakening minds to a flow of motivation
Sighing like leaves as they tumble down
Stirring revelations without a sound

Illustriously the harmonious
September murmurs of Autumn
Who mesmerizes the shadows
With glowing joys of fulfillment
Praising, praying, penetrating
Every emotion with goodness
Kindness poured from heaven

September is the crisp, cool touch
Preparing us for the gentle grace
That Autumn shares with such affection
September is the color of acceptance
The manner of mercy and blessing
The hope that longs to be known
The sanctification of other month’s goals

September is hope for harvest blessings!
Sweet September – I’ll never forget her
