The City By the Bay

Do you remember that city by the bay?
With streets that shined like gold
even on a cold wind day?
although some would not recall or be so bold

Do you remember that city by the bay?
the sea would rise, with a rising tide
that even the fish had deep secrets to say
and the seagulls would fly with pride

Do you remember that city by the bay?
The lanes crowded with people
though sadly they had nothing to say
and the tallest building was not a steeple

Do you remember that city by the bay?
something wicked came around the bend
caused the people to speak and to pray
of their wealth none could help but spend

Do you remember that city by the bay?
it came upon that christmas night
of course mocking could never pay
the intensity and serenity of their fright

I do remember the city, with a sigh
gone it is now, faded with time
broke the pact, infected with malady
silence overtook, not even a rhyme

I do remember the city, with a sigh
the streets were cracked and dulled
filled with thousands of screams on high
and the great buildings were crushed and pulled

I do remember the city, with a sigh
no secrets told by fish again
no seagulls echoing cry
can ever be seen or regain

I do remember the city, with a sigh
it was the great ship that came to the bay
loaded with biscuits, brandy and pie
though no one had seen them, none could say

I do remember that city, with a sigh
the rightful owners retuned with a vengeance
taking them all day, to die
the great compass used for guidance

What is now the city by the bay?
its splendor was swindled by the old
of its former glory, none can say
that is at least what is told

What is now the city by the bay?
The streets lie empty, echoes are many
the roads of gold, now appear ashen gray
and the cracked gargoyles look angry

What is now the city by the bay
a hope, a purpose, a glory
a debt that must pay
a sin that was due, however friendly

What is now the city by the bay?
the rightful owner must be remembered
a reminder to all who build this day
or else face the wrath and angered

Dark Visitors

It was an experiment in time travel,
That is all it was supposed to be.
How could we know what we were getting into,
Or expect the horrors we would see?

We opened a rift between the dimensions,
And these creatures just came pouring through!
Killing everyone with such merciless glee,
While I kept myself hidden from view.

They were demonic things with glowing green eyes,
Shadowy monsters, burst from the hole.
Through tearing flesh, I could hear people screaming,
God please don’t let them feed on my soul!

They spoke a crude and complicated language,
It was difficult to understand.
But as I lay there, I listened intently,
My horizons would quickly expand.

They were furious at our experiment,
It had caused scores of their own to die.
They said we were a threat that must be destroyed;
Killing us all would be their reply!

I have never witnessed such brutal carnage,
Or the savagery of their assault.
Spitting their thunderous fire, without mercy,
I thought their attack would never halt.

They returned through the rift, thinking all were dead,
One stayed behind to seal the portal.
I managed to catch the creature by surprise,
And discovered that it was mortal.

It’s thick, protective skin wasn’t skin at all,
Just armor made of some kind of mesh.
Its glowing green eyes, were part of a helmet,
Designed to protect it’s soft pink flesh.

Before I killed it, I learned what I needed,
Then fed on the filthy creature’s soul.
I learned it was human, a tasty species,
But I don’t think it achieved it’s goal.

More of my people have begun to gather,
Our dead brothers, they wish to avenge.
These humans will be taught a costly lesson,
Soon my people will have their REVENGE!!!

The Vromaz

Since times long ago,
written in legends such and so.
A creature of pure fear,
layed waste to all the lands near here.
Wielding axe and mace,
His black eyes upon his face.
And for blood, an insatiable taste.
Though he may lay dormant,
He will surely rise and torment.
The Vromaz! The Vromaz!
The people so named him.
The Vromaz! The Vromaz!
They'd yell as he maimed them.

More evil than, the most furious of demon.
You'll always know he's coming, as you hear the people screaming.
Blood red skin and bellowing war cries.
The last thing seen or heard, before his victim dies.
His reign of destruction and such fright.
Rampaging through the night.
While all of everyone, trembling before his sight
The ravager, the rager.
The sum of utmost danger.
The Vromaz! The Vromaz!
Is wrecking through the town.
The Vromaz! The Vromaz!
As the warning bells they sound.

Slashing, bashing, brutally, he's attacking.
Following the panicked voices, lurking in the dark, he is tracking.
Wreaking havoc to all things living.
His soul, completely full, of a hate so giving.
The bringer of all things horrifying.
His savagery forever multiplying.
Don't bother trying to fight it, all those who do simply end up dying.
A whirlwind, a dark red flurry,
the causer of so much worry.
The Vromaz! The Vromaz!
All the people scream.
The Vromaz! The Vromaz!
Terror's grand machine.

My Unicorn.

The life became as
dragons fire,
The people lost the
Mind way,
And I brought a
simple desire,
Just to know the
last pray.
There know I deep
forest,
Many creatures of
beyond
Are waiting here in
a mass
To tell the people
their best.
*
My Unicorn!You are
the Main!
This is your
ancient tree!
Ive been waiting...
Just tell us how to
be!
My Unicorn-the ray
of hope,
You glanced at
once and said:
You said me to
come,
You said me to tell,
To say you the
pray,
To call the Ancient
Council,
To ask for the
angels ray,
To show the
Worlds Soul.
*
And Ive been
waiting,
Im praying now,
I know you are
here,
I know you are
coming.
Im down my knees,
The world is
breaking down,
Tell me,saint,please,
How to stop the
fire.
My Unicorn!I see
you comin!
I hear fairy
creatures voices,
I feel my pulse is
empty,
To die is the price
of calling.
But you ll then
arise me,
And you ll give
advice,
I ll get your wisdom
As it was at once.
*
My Unicorn!Youre
the Main!
This is you ancient
tree,
Ive been waiting...
Just tell us how to
be!

Supernova

The heat and radiation
confronts the frustration
our sun grows bright
and the fire dims right
the people stare and wait
scared for there lives "great"
others don't worry about it
smoke a joint and say "doubt it"
I sit here in my room, A/C on
cold as ice and write an con
continue my novel or guitar riff
as others stare at the sun so stiff
but as the last second nears
and the people lose some fears
the sun goes over the horizon
while the people sigh at the Vizion
and then I go outside knowing
I knew something big was growing
then the sky made a silent sound
as the earth made the cold ground
"the calm before the storm" I said
"not this false start again- again"
I was wrong and the sky filled the coda
and the last thing we said was "supernova"

In the Night

in the night, the demons are waiting
the vampires are stalking there prey
the ghosts are haunting
in the night, people are watching
following, judging
in the night, the dark and black time of day
where i feel most welcome
and my friends come out to play
in the night, when screams can be heard
and the dead are walking aroud like a zombie herd
in the night, yes, thats where i will be
hanging with the poltergists as they float around me
in the night, the demons are my friends
the vampire are my buddies
and the ghosts are my pals
in the night, i am one of them
one of the scary things
that people scream when they see
in the night, when they see me
in the night, thats where i will be.
in the night.

Mud and Water

this village of Platonius was the only city
physically lowered by the Gods into an
underwater abyss.

the inhabitants were given the ability to breath underwater
but,if they tried to surface the flares of the sun would strike then with burnt termination.

the wild disjointed mentality of these people was both taboo
and unforgiving,legendary though they were.
once known as the isle of EMIL a once sacred post to the mythical God
Fuutre.

why would a God sentence this humankind of wretches to such
a plight?
Harsh resolve some say.
to this day if you ever stand by a body of water of any kind and you see the foam of
bubbles, remember these people for they have not forgotten you.
