ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS
Abbreviated by an early autumn night
the summer, once tormented by a torrid sun,
relented to September, as if dying might
give reason to all things the heat and time has done;
The stalks of corn, if touched, explode into a dust,
and water tables sink down to a new found low,
but love always goes on, as love, it always must,
through drought and flood, and shortages that come and go.
There in the field, an old man points his maple cane
as if a prophesy, and something we should know,
always, always, always, there will be too much rain,
or not enough, and only love can ever grow.
There is a blizzard brewing, it's part of the plan,
up in the wastelands north, with tons and tons of snow;
and on a winters' morn, snow will be deeper than
the fences seperating everything we know;
and how the wind will howl, and everything will freeze,
there's little we can do, but hope for early spring,
always, always, always, we fall down to our knees
in love and prayer that times like this always will bring.
Next spring the rains will always fall, perhaps too much,
for some the devil's arm will reach down from the sky,
and twisting life about, there is no gentle touch,
excepting love, and that is all that gets us by.
Always, always, always, love has to always be,
though borrowed from the wind, though sought in pain,
though snatched out of the grip of some cotastrophe,
if not for love, there'd be no welcome summer rain.
Well, here I am again, Lord, a-knockin' on Your door,
With a prayer of thanksgivin' and a few entreaties to implore.
Lord, I thank You for sustainin' me along life's rocky road,
And for the blessin's upon this undeservin' soul You've bestowed!
For this comin' year, I pray not for an accumulation of pelf,
But for good health for my family, neighbors and myself.
May the things I do this year bring honor and glory to You,
And may I heed Your guidance in ever'thing I do.
I pray for peace that the world may be free from strife,
And that humankind will refine its sense of respect for life.
Protect our soldiers, those gallant souls so brave and strong.
I pray they'll be reunited with kin, at home where they belong!
I pray for our leaders and the myriad of challenges they face.
May they serve the people with honor, integrity and grace.
My plea is that the nation's respect for You will be restored,
For 'tis said, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord!"
Lord, I pray for those who are hungry, homeless and depressed,
The lonely, ailing, hopeless and those who are oppressed.
For Your steadfast love and answer to prayer I have no doubt.
Seems I'm always pesterin' You, but thanks for hearin' me out!

It started out as a normal day;
Arise, eat, and get under way.
Since I don't know what lies ahead,
I'd better stop for a meal of my daily bread'
When I got to my workplace, my buddy was there.
He had some personnel problems that he wanted to share.
It didn't take long to see his tremendous need,
So I quietly began to intercede.
When I turned my attention to the work for the day,
It seemed like nothing would go the right way'
My boss came to give me the "third degree."
"Oh Lord, let your Light shine through me'"
Temptations to sin was always at hand,
And I knew I had to make a stand.
The evening commute was no peace of cake'
"Father, forgive me for all my mistakes'"
Aahh'-Ahead is castle'-surely no strife'
Then I was met at the door by my wife.
As she unfolded the events of her day,
I knew once more it was time to pray'
Now, at last, it's time for bed'
And my evening meal of daily bread.
Without the resources of prayer and the Word,
What would I do? Thank you, Dear Lord'

You can run all you want to, but it will do you no good at all
Everywhere you go, something will give you away
Modern technology, you are all over the radar screen
If you are on the run from the law, sooner or later you will fall
You will know when and how much you have to pay
So you might as well "fess up and come clean"
I guess if you want to " hide your head in the sand"
In your mind, think that you are in another world
You cannot see anything and think that no one can see you
Sooner of later your ship will hit dry land
And you are back in the same old world
So then what do you do?
You might be running from yourself and want to hide
Crawl in a hole or live like a hermit in a cave
Use chemicals to alter your mind, stay in a daze
Must be something that you are hiding inside
Without knowing it, you have become your own slave
You might want to start thinking about changing your ways
While you are running, you might want to run to God
A confession to him, is a prayer on bended knees
He knows your heart and every hair on your head
"You are already caught, so you might as well give it up to God"
It is better than all of their guilty pleas
Then thank him every night before you go to bed

Finally went to church today-Ash Wednesday
I went for company, communion and to pray
Liked the new people, what priest had to say
I really felt like I was forgiven for sins today
It used to be only God, hard to get Jesus into
My life and prayers, now it's bound like sinew
For money owed, no longer feel a need to sue
All's forgiven. Still talk to Bruce and sister Sue
Everytime attend church, learn something new
Everyday I pray alone, today was I born anew
I will go again, really enjoyed myself, the brew
Was wine in a silver cup with bread pieces new
Dipped into the wine and eaten with the others
Fellowship in God's love with sisters & brothers
Told female priest - many fathers and mothers
Baptized/confirmed Episcopalian and my mother
Sang in her Episcopal church, so sweet a voice
Larry dropped me off/picked me up, his choice
No singing, just prayer and sermon - REJOICE
When Jesus so returns - Will I hear his voice?
As I do every night, I will pray for redemption
I believe it will be later in the souls convention
I will see my beloved brother, parents, baby
I will go to Heaven all around us, just maybe
What do you do
when faced with a need?
Who do you turn to
with cares to plead?
Life seems so dark
We can’t find a way
OR the hurts so deep
All you do is pray
We are never alone
In emptiness we feel
Though the devil know
The joy he steals
But it’s only the moment
The darkness invades
For if we call on Jesus
All fear will fade.
We serve the King of Kings
Who hears our prayers
Our FATHER in Heaven
With love so rare
The Bright and Shining Star
That shines in the east
Will guide our steps
And give us peace
Oh many are the battles
In life we fight
When the demons on earth
Shout with delight
But we have a Savior
Who walks by our side
Through FAITH in HIM
His love abides
Oh He is the Master
Over life’s stormy seas
Though storms will blow
His Love calls peace
For even the Sparrow
Is in His hands
Protected and cared for
In Gods loving plan
We all face troubles
In fear look to Him
For He holds the future
With Prayer peace beings
He holds our life if we believe
And guides the path that we will lead
His plan is set He knows our need
Just pray to Him and believe!

I said a prayer and he heard my plea
And came down to comfort me.
I told him that he knew what
I was going through
I just didn’t know what to do.
I could see that face in that
Blurred vision of him
And he stood with a very wide grin.
He said : my son there are answers all around
You just have to look for them to be found.
For every ailment there is a cure
And of this you can be sure.
The older generations had all the home remedies
Just check with them and you will see.
I have given you a brain to use
And free will for you to choose.
Use what I have given to you
To find the answers.
And choose Which would be right for you
This is all you have to do.
Quick cures you may find
But the correct ones take more time.
As I took time to make everything you see
You just have to wait patiently.
Help yourself and I will help you
And these words are so very true.
If I had made life easy
Would you appreciate what you see.
These are burdens that you must bare
And the rest with you I’ll share.
Now I knew my plea was heard
And to mankind he gave his word.
Prayers are like a message
You send them to someone who can take care of it for you
But if you don’t write the message no one can help you
I have learned prayers since I was born
Every night I say a pray
These 4 corners on my bed
These 4 angels over head
Mathew mark Luke and john
This is the bed that I lay on
And If I die before I wake
I pray the lord my soul to take
And then I add stuff to it after that
And then at the dinner table when I was little I would say this prayer
God is good
God is great
Let us thank him for our food
Bow our heads
We must be fed
Give us lord
Our daily bread
Amen
God bless
The when I used to go to this church camp which last year was my last year
We would make up these prayer songs before a meal.
One of them was
God is good
God is great
God he gave us chocolate cake
He is a righteous dude
He gave us food
Ruba dub dub
Three men in a tub
(Father, son, and Holy Spirit)
Thank you god for this great grub
Amen amen amen amen
So prayers are a big part of my life and have been for a very long time and always will be

This decision, has to come from the top
so as I watch I pray, and pray what I watch
goes this distance these brief intermissions
are nothin but a waste and not every woman
can satisfy what I have a taste for...but sometimes
I can't help its not you its me I'm the one who gives
my heart my emotions my feelings away so freely
but still I play my position...and while it gets played
one thing constantly crosses my mind,
is she the one is this gonna be your last first date
but I know...if she doesn't share the passion for
the presence of God how could she ever understand
why for the sake of the Gospel I go hard?
I could wait for that moment to come, but I need a
woman of
virtue who understands life means nothin if its focused
on the son.
So in prayer is where I find myself even if her persona
is half past amazing, if we aren't compatible spiritually
I would never find her unless she's lost in the saviour.
Crops in the field had dried up so long ago,
our old well gave us dust, instead of water.
Prayers went unanswered, many had given up,
while others threw their faith away.
Then our little creek went dry on us,
nothing remained, but dry dirt.
One Sunday Morning the old
country Church took to praying
all morning, the preacher ended the service
by telling the congregation we have to have faith,
that the Lord will send rain, and very soon,
or it will be over for us all.
Sunday night the smell of the golden scent
of rain hitting the dried up earth, as a down pour,
like we had not seen in over 30 years, came down on
us like a mountain top. By day break, our well and creek
was once again full of water, the Lord had given us rain, our
faith, which was almost gone, was given new life, and the rains
had come which was a prayer from heaven come true.
