I sinned against my body exceedingly so
I’m ashamed, I feel like a nobody
Everyday, I see people succeeding though
The temple of God is in everybody
I need endurance and patience
I also need self-control and guidance
I love my enemies and everyone at least
At least I will be celebrating this year’s Feast
All alone…
The assembly of righteous loved ones
Makes me happy and glad times tons
The assembly of godliness in our congregation
Makes me feel gratitude in its spiritual sensation
Our community’s calling is amazing
I held on to these deceitful desires and now, I’m letting them all go,
So, reap what you sow
I’m forgiving my trespasses, grazing
In my own maze of resentful, remorseful fires aglow
The rivers of radiance aflow
You’ll see me on my webbed waterbed, nightdreaming and stargazing…
I have a longsuffering heart
I am not going to fall apart
I will remain in the assembly of the wise
I will gain happiness and plenty of highs
Even if I am “ALL alone”,
God is my backbone…
Please don’t postpone
A phone call from God Most High or you’ll surely be on your own
THE CURSED DARKNESS
The day perish on which you were born
And the night in which it was announced,
A sinister dark child is conceived,
May light never, as usual, shine up in you,
The shadow of death claimed your soul,
Embolden and clothed thee with pain,
Cloud settled on it and becomes polluted,
The blackness of the day terrify thy territory
And thy birth rejoice not among the days of the year.
Our prayer that it come not into the number of the months
Did not eventually come to fruition.
The heavens willingly permitted thee though
But the earth groan and proclaim:
"Oh may thy womb be shut and thou be barren"
Because no joyful shout come into it.
Your morning stars are pitch-dark.
If men knew you would share a life with them,
They would have wished this world had rejected their entry,
For now they would be gracefully at peace
Like the dead who is completely at ease,
They would have been far asleep
With kings and heroes of the earth
Who built ruins for themselves
Or with Queens and Princes who had gold
And reign with Angels who will never be born
Or infants who never set sight on light.
But why can't you only associate with
Them that search for you more than rubies
And those who rejoice exceedingly at the graves clarion call
Instead of being an unwanted guest
To he who know not of thy gloomy coming;
The coming of death, the brother of darkness, the cousin of sleep.
The things a man greatly feared
Would 'prophetically' and definitely come upon him.

My pen pal and I both had a passion for poetry books
The city library was thought of. We met in her nooks.
Shush! Shush! We heard from a librarian, truly staid.
With face of a rooster, we knew she was an old maid.
Two pen pals forever, we only had one day to meet.
We knew it would be fun, endearing, exceedingly sweet.
We ditched the library, my forever pen pal and me.
We headed northeast, where two terrific poets should be.
We picked out a spot where literary mermaids danced and sang.
Faeries and brownies came along with a hull-a-balloo band.
Dictionary gargoyles got frisky, and gave us some sass.
We rolled our eyes, ignoring them, and their syllable grass.
It was a fine time. Two poet pen pals having a blast.
Collaborating hard, ideas in spurts, and real fast.
And that is how we two pen pals finally met, and had some real fun.
If you doubt this incredible tale, you are not the only one.
Christmas spirit was all over the house.
A day for a party, but with plenty of louse.
Ding-a-ling-bring-some-sling unseeing Dan
Came alone, which is always the best that he can.
He contributed chocolate fudge that was tasty and sweet.
For his amazing mother’s sugar cookies cannot be beat.
Candy cane crystals blinked in succession from the Christmas tree.
You want to know about everybody? I asked. Come sit by me.
Take a bite out of every piece of pie for corpulent Laura is back.
She drove up in a shanty of a Hackensack beer belly without any tack.
We knew now the party could truly begin, and possibly turn on a whim.
For she usually brings Enthusiastic Essie, her fun-loving, identical twin.
Christmas carols were being piped in courtesy of the host’s daughter.
Gladypipes herself is not here, absent after running off with a potter.
Watch out! Pompous unholy Lady of the Arrogance church is here.
Sitting alone in a corner, on her non-smelling, prissy stuck up rear.
Some of the newcomers have sat down, trying to make small talk.
Discovering she is as mean as they come with uplifted beak of a hawk.
Christmas party full swing now. People are gobbling up cakes and pie.
In the east, I see Jesus’s happy star, winking down from the sky.
Prissy non-listening glistening, kissening, fissening Man of the West.
Is flitting from young woman to old matron, flicking winks at the rest.
Most of us felines know him exceedingly well in a rather bad way.
He's dated every single one of us from twenty to forty; he likes to stray.
Another successful party, full of gusto and girth, gladness and giggles.
I write it all down quickly with juicy whorls, curls, and squiggles.

God is able
He's able to do more
than we can imagine.
He's able to give more
than this world can give.
He's ways are
incomprehensible.
He's love is indescribable
and everlasting.
He's able, he's able
to make way where there
seems to be no way.
He's able to set the captives
free, so we may walk in
victory.
He's able, he's able to do
more than exceedingly
what we can imagine.
He's mighty, he's mighty,
mighty to save.
He conquered the grave, he
arose from the dead, and now
he intercedes for us on his
heavenly throne.
Nothing is Impossible with
him. He's able, so in this we
know he is always reliable.
We can always place our trust
in me him.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY CHARITY UPHOLDER
Lord God, You are my charity Upholder by Your power against my affliction
Thank You for manifesting to me Your righteousness midst tribulation
You alone can comfort my soul during troubles’ affliction---
I rest in Your care with Your heavenly revelation.
Lord God, You are my charity Upholder by Your salvation light
Thank You for freeing me from sin-punishment’s blight
You alone can make my testimony to shine bright----
I trust in Your work to help me do what’s right.

in such a time as this of broken dreams and shattered lives
God has a 7 point stimulus plan that will help you survive
my God is sovereign, He is the absolute resource
my God is the ultimate universal life-giving force
my God is able to do any and all
my God is so qualified He will never drop the ball
He suffered for me, He can't be enticed
by the world's greed and malicious device
and no matter how high and no matter how low
there's no place to find me that my God won't go
to save me to rescue me in my times of need
He will always be there to help me succeed
my God is able to keep me from falling down
will always lift me up to safer and higher ground
my God supports me, guides me and always protects
to send angels of grace and mercy and more than I expect
my God is able to subdue anything here on earth
and make any situation better before it can get worse
my God is able to supply all I need and require
according to His riches and what of me He desires
my God is able to secure all that I've acquired
my faith in Him and all in me that He inspires
exceedingly, abundantly, beyond and above all
my God does for me whenever of Him I call
He suffered for me, He saves me, He supports me and subdues
He supplies my needs, He secures my faith and does exceedingly too
my God is able and on His promises I do stand
