Power to invoke aesthetic delight,
is found in cave of heart, betwixt bliss beats,
teleporting soul to zenith like height,
love’s refrain that unendingly repeats.

Subtler than the subtlest scent to us known,
God’s elixir sublime enlivens form,
revealing deep truths, to us alone known,
soothed by magnetised mists, both cool and warm.

Slowing down life’s pace, we garner God’s grace,
felt as light radiating from our core,
holding pristine presence in close embrace,
bliss that leaves heart begging for an encore.

In timeless time as we become the flame,
endless bliss rapture is our claim to fame.

Premium Member Musings on space

We as the subject, look at any object,
noticing space that separates us is still,
the void of no-thingness mind cannot bisect,
omnipresent yet exercising no will,
so what space really is, we introspect,
reflecting in silence, from soul’s window sill.
In staid stillness we sense our presence expand,
then truth of space we begin to understand.

Melding with the void, concepts are discarded,
wherein present as formless awareness pure,
the form we ensoul, is by bliss bombarded,
whence earth life tests then, we easily endure
and with no attachments left to be guarded,
softened soul presence in time becomes demure,
whereupon flickers in space are by us seen,
piercing through its pores, deep wisdom we so glean.

God’s light that lights all lights, enlivens space too,
signalling that though it holds us in its womb,
it also depends on God’s pulse to renew,
that as all life forms in it, with aplomb zoom,
it is silence alone that offers a clue
to truth of space, as ignorance we deplume.
Ceasing to weigh and size, though we vaporise,
who in truth God is, we’re yet to realise.

Did You Know Eyes Have Mouths?

At her fifth birthday party,
She loved tiny tales.
A bookworm smartie,
Unfurling imagination sails.

When she was older,
She could not sleep.
Her hands, a bookholder,
Instead of counting sheep.

Snuggled in bed,
With another adventure,
Hallway light behind her head,
Illuminating the treasure.

Read the classics,
And about mysteries of crime.
Keeping genre more elastic,
Enlivens the climb.

She hated suspense.
She could not wait.
She felt too tense,
Not knowing her fate.

When her own space
Was on another floor.
She still had foes to face,
Whether in or outside the door.

Now adult of age,
Read at her leisure,
Another turn of the page,
Time remains at her pleasure.

New book released,
She goes to the store,
She has to feed the beast,
Or her longing would be more.

She loves to read,
She can go somewhere new,
Wherever plots lead,
Perspective imbue.

Reality can confine us.
Books hold pages, too.
We remember thus,
To our own story be true.

To the library we go,
To read tomes for free,
Whatever words echo,
Against the reality we see.

If libraries went away,
There would be riots in the street,
Organized to say,
“Let the eyes eat.”

Gods game of concealing and revealing
Seeming one sided, since He is hiding
We knew not what do do, feeling distraught
Until our heart asked mind, ‘where is He not?’

It is He, whose breath enlivens all forms
Conscience within, urging us to reform
Vast, boundless space, both within and around
Wonderment that within our heart abounds

He is luminous, yet found in darkness
God alone is, underlying oneness
He is the That one and He is the two
The core life essence, which within renews

Lament not, oh hermit, He is within
Throb of heartbeat and bliss grazing our skin

Premium Member He Holds My Hand

God awakens me every morning
With a beautiful sunny light
Fills my mind with good thoughts
My heart with a sense of joy

God opens new doors for me to enter
Doors of hope, welcome and tender
Filling me with assurance and a sense…
That everything in life is getting better

God whispers His mysteries to my heart
Reminding me that I have second chances
To be the person He intended from the first
Compassionate, inspiring and filled with faith

God challenges me to reach toward my dreams
With a faith that everything will be as it should be
I can be certain He will send me wisdom and creativity
Pieces of His heaven right here on this earth

God enlightens the feelings that soothe me
Comforting words from the Bible He opens
To reprove me with His welcoming promises
Meant to give me a new approach, guidance

God inspires me to give from my heart
With a generosity that I wouldn’t know
Unless He sent me the help from above
The inspiration of His pure, sweet love

God excites me with the fire of His spirit
Shaking me up, reminding me to look around
Discover the answers within His best laid plans
The possibilities within His blessed tactics

God enlivens me, filing me with new life
When I feel lost or alone, He stirs my heart
Reveals the truth to me and tells me I am loved
By the One who created me, the One who is Everything

The creator God brings me through it all
Even when I’m sure I’ll never be able to come through
He reaches out and grips my hand, telling me…
With Him beside me, I can make it through anything!

This verse has encouraged me through so many bad times:

Isaiah 41:13 – For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

the eye of the hurricane is still
humming silently with potent power
as is the animated stillness continuum
preceding the emission of heart’s pure intent

thought cessation of consciousness self-aware
holding erect all energies in perfect balance
enlivens the bardo with a magnetic pulse
ushering ineffable aesthetic delight

behold how polarities within mingle
benign bliss beats generating cool heat
causing soma nectar to drip through form
soundless thunder felt by holder of the flame

oriented as such in mood and mode of vibrancy
empty within and nonchalant to outcomes
fully present in the now continuum
soul delights in every offering

retracing our steps back to source
befriending silence, poised in stillness
slowing down thought and gentling touch
our single eye peeps through pores of space

as an individuated module of God consciousness
subtler than space and more potent than fire
we transcend limitations of linear time
both immanent and transcendent

watching the ebb and flow of tides
we dip in and out of shimmery illusions
from the stillness fulcrum beyond space time
we fully partake of and then release each embrace

            ~ leaving behind no residue

observing oscillation of our attention
between form and the void
with inertia dimming our awareness
accepting the sway as it is
looking at waves in nonchalance
we feel nothing need be done
since the flame of awareness is held
solely in the hands of God
Who weaves his magic within duality
and thus recognising the play
we as aspect of the whole in the dream
have freedom to offer response
to life as it unfolds moment to moment
so choose to thin out the ego
that as boundaries blur nodes within stir
benign bliss friction enlivens dust
whereupon affirming there is no one here
we transmute becoming the flame

Premium Member Let It Snow

Snowflakes caress my cheek
Sugary sweet, like a candy treat
Oh, so enchanting
Mesmerizing

Snow falls soft and tender
Like the whisper
Of the softest
Feather

Snowflakes kiss the
Naked branches
Lingering on firs
With affection

Snow lies glistening
Like beautiful angels
Falling around me
A spiritual balm

Snowflakes, liquid
A graceful prayer
Breathing laughter
Inspiring smiles

Snow bleeds hope
Through the spruce
Emerald shadows
In hues of melodies

Snowflakes, dreamy
Dancing through clouds
Growing more fluid
As they sigh to the ground

Snow so brilliant
It enlivens the heart
With kind edges
Bouncing on the thoughts

Snowflakes embrace me
With sincerity and truth
Gliding on the air
Like a sense of splendor – God’s music!

Snow falls on the mountains
Covers the whole world
In a white blanket so indulgent
It shouts through the silence

Snowflakes glimmer
Like starlight and fireflies
Rushing toward the skies
With a breathtaking feeling

Snow roams the soul
Relaying all that is good
From murmurs of dreams
Discovered on the angel’s wings

Snowflakes break through
Peace, joy and faith
Touching the crackling fires
With an intimate light

Snow rides the breeze
With rumors of blessings
Praising all the ways
God has hallowed our realms

Snowflakes are alive
Bleaching the entire lives
Of those who take the time
To touch them as they fly by

Snow is the calm, cool approval
Of this season we call Winter
As it races through our minds
Shimmering as bright as diamonds

Snowflakes ride the twists and turns
Of angelic flights who have come
To remind us that we can still feel
Like a child on Christmas morn

Snow, so elegant as it flows
Across my thoughts, through my soul
To keep my mind discerning
The need to love God’s handiwork!

Premium Member Jealous Gratitude

I am jealous
of everything that has ever touched you,
the breaths of hot sunshine that have soothed your cheeks with hope,
the moonlight that has painted your lips with lilly silver,
the darkness that has calmed you into soft slumber,
the rain that has pelted your flesh with sky splash,
the breeze that has lifted your hair with seductive intent,

Jealous of every temptation that has made your soul sweat,
every secret that has sworn obedience to your obsessions,
every kiss that has taken a taste of your sweet heat
every man that has collapsed into your romance,
every mouth that has spoken your name with awe
every second that has circled your psyche,
every particle that has pranced through your bloodstream,
every emotion that enlivens your ego,
every knot of knowledge that supports your smarts,
every star that has caught your girlish wishes,
every tear that slides faithfully from the pink rims of your eyelids,
every cut that has silenced your pride,

Jealous of every thing
that has left you, fed you, led you, entered you,
yet, I am grateful for all these odd and splendid things
that have known your beauty and pain,
for they have made my need for you real
and your love for me possible,
this jealousy is my love hypocrisy -
