A Candid Rainscape

I watch the water trickle down my blank canvas,
The whole world is crying today...

Nature has water-washed the Earth green,
The land looks fresh, as if awakened by a magic touch,
I trace the cold mist with my fingertips,
as the dark clouds are drawn towards the half bright sun...
Raindrops jump and splash in brand new muddy puddles.

Lilies look lovelier and jasmines jive joyfully,
Daisies wear dewy dimples,
even as the merry marigolds seem to melt...

And on that faraway mountain, in a summer cottage,
those roses blush redder when the rain kisses them.

My eyes glisten and my lips spread in a smile,
while I brush away those few drops left
to complete my candid dreamscape...

Premium Member Hold Me In Your Heart

Hold me in your heart
where your passion dwells, waiting to be freed
by a romantic wanderer, who'll share his love
worthy of your heart's eloquence of glowing light
    that will guide me
as I journey your dreamscape of paradise
intoxicated by your fervent heart
    that inflames my fervor
so, I may whisper dreams to you
of long stem roses on the farthest hill
    where ardor blooms
watching sunrise on fields of purple asters
inviting our eyes to welcome the glorious glow
of dawn, covered in morning dew
where I'll look upon your beauty
    with enthralling eyes of wonder
offering warmth from outstretched arms
    yearning to be loved
feeling the breath of emotion
nourished by bewitching fragrances
    captivating my spellbound soul
lost in the internal wanderings of love
long forgotten in the landscape of my heart

Premium Member Welcome Wolf Moon

Mysticism lives under this enormous glorious moon
Stars twinkle, but dare not whisper, feeling a reverence
Silence holds creatures and wildlife in awe
Until howl of wolf announces her independence and freedom.

Selene smiles as she allows wolf moon to illuminate meadow
Apache warriors begin a deeper dreamscape, feeling empowered
The ice moon is here, ready to empower us, lead us into a new year
Oak trees dance in a methodical way, sharing the ethereal wind.

Has there ever been such a moon? Unsure if there was or ever will be.
But he is here now, bringing magical feelings into the forest.
Faeries and gnomes climb out of the mushroom houses of my mind.
Waving and cheering as they hear the howl of the wolf. She is here!

Mind and heart shape the way I feel,
Yes knows a touch of visual fest.
Dance in dreamscape with soul's goodwill,
Richness moves much of happy zest;
Etch in clear sketch a focal point,
Art in pure thought syncs bold feelings;
Mindset frames match in myriad joints,
Choice now streams lot in myriad things;
Abide with ease where joy reaps form,
Touch plenty here as love sparks more;
Cheer anchors peace in portent norms,
High hopes prime dear as wonder spores;
End game greets quest with sheer plenty,
Reach that kind fest in all I see.

Dancing in Our Dreams

In the cosmic ballet, where celestial lights gleam,
I whispered your name, in a voice soft as steam.
The moon's tender cradle, a swing for our feet,
We danced through the heavens, in rhythm so sweet.

Summer nights unfurled, your essence a bloom,
As we waltzed in the dark, dispelling the gloom.
Memory's dance floor, where our souls took flight,
A serenade of stars, in the velvet night.

I'm whirling in nebulas, where love's pulses meet,
Aching for your caress, in the cosmos' repeat.
Nostalgia, our shroud, in the ether's embrace,
In this starry vision, my heart finds its place.

Frames on the cosmos' wall, tales etched in light,
Chuckles that linger, in the quiet of night.
We pirouetted under the celestial spray,
Each droplet a beat, washing sorrows away.

I'm twirling in the heavens, where the heartbeats blend,
Craving your warmth, on this boundless ascend.
Nostalgia enfolds us, a zephyr's soft sweep,
In this woven dream, serenity I keep.

Let's waltz one more time, 'neath the candyfloss sky,
With each dream that shatters, I still hear your sigh.
We'll pursue the twilight, as hues intertwine,
In the night's hammock, you're forever mine.

I'm gliding through the galaxies, where heartbeats entwine,
Yearning for your touch, on this journey divine.
Nostalgia, our constant, a breeze so serene,
In this crafted dreamscape, my spirit finds its sheen.

So we'll drift through the remembrances, not quite undone,
Dancing in dreams, our race yet to be run.
In the cradle of stars, I'll murmur your name,
Through eternity's dance, we'll play our sweet game.

Bespangled
she sashays up the shore
from a sequin gowned sea
wearing the undulating waves
of aquamarine and ambrosial sheen
adorned with shimmering and shivering seeds of excitement

A thousand beaded fingertips
trace her coral curves
whispering sweet nothings
in the luscious language of brine and blue
drizzling down
her sea-salted soul-case
teasing and tempting
her cooled honeyed patina
to passionately impearled pertness

Enraptured as he is
enticed by her dreamscape
the yearning senescent sands sigh~
longing for relics of rose-water regrets.

In dreams of yonder, wishes wistfully conceive,
A cradle of lost tomorrows, where shadows sway;
To a realm unseen, where hearts believe,
Past where twilight’s lulling lullabies lay,
A world where reverie and reality secretly play.

Through the veil of verity…
     …Aisling nocturnally creates,
Mountains of moonlight, rivers of rhyme,
A world untouched by changing tides and capricious fate.
In this land, where we lose track of all time,
A place where voices harmonize; oh, so surreal, so sublime.

A city of silence, a forest of fears,
The cloud-kissed towers, an ocean of sorrow,
Beneath twilight's gentle, silent tears.
An ephemeral world free of yesterdays and tomorrow,
A dreamscape unfolding where sleep freely borrows.

A tremor runs through castle walls,
A sigh escapes the forest deep,
Twilight's tears turn into calls
Of roosters waking from their sleep.
The ocean's sorrow shimmers pale
A canvas primed for sun's first brush.
The mountains, caught in morning's veil
     Dissolves to silence, whispers hush.

As a new dawn dances
     the dream dissipates
The illusion shatters
     reality reinstates.
For the land was an Elysium delight
A mere mirage in the moonlit night.
Dissolving in dawn's delicate dance
…like a mist in morning sacred light.

Fading Starlight sifts through leaves, painting emerald shadows on the ground.
Lost in the morning's mellowness,
          a sigh escapes,
               the dream departs,
                                   unrenown…

Though dawn reclaims the waking world,
a yearning in my heart resides,
For Elysium's lost melody,
where time and sorrow gently subside.

Premium Member Piliferous Beast

By silver starlight
and unconquerable spirit
unicorn autumn
adventures
lay before.

Piliferous beast of field, away!
A midnight outing
of an enchanted weave
is for my destiny tonight…
and thou, I’ll have
for my steed.

The Phoenix in flight
immaculate guiding light
as we forge over
grassland fare
and mountainous plain.

We’ll know naught of death
by dragon breath
for ne’er shall we view
o darkened lair
nor in the gleam of treasured guild
embrace that forbidden dream.

Piliferous beast of field away!
the sphinx riddles o’er
our passage rare.
Beyond all the sand
of the dune-covered land,
enchanted our sojourn
seem.

Tranquil the moonbeams
adrift on the streams
and carried along in
a mystical song, from the deep
where solemn merfolk
hoard the superfluous rays
of our night.

Emerald green silk and golden weft woven,
by carpet one takes to the sky!
As Solomon whispers
the winds follow by
as well on this fantasy flight
shalt thou do for I.

Piliferous beast of field away!
The scarab is hissing
a hex.
We owe not a singular breath
to reality’s strangle-hold
nor have we a gamble to spare.
Our Autumn shall wane
and my breathing the same
in the chill of the frosty new
cold.

And lo, should our quest
by some dawning undo.
Indebted I’ll sleep in my grave.
I’ll ne’er find you fading
you'll ever stand waiting
Together we'll conquer the day.

Beneath heaven sparkling,
triumphant, I’ll say once more:
Piliferous beast of field, away!

Where at my calling,
we’ll voyage the dreamscape
and Death will wonder and rage!
By clenched bony jaw and fists
he, under his cowl,
will marvel our escape.

When by silver starlight and
unconquerable spirit
unicorn winter
adventures
shall lay before.

Dreamscape of the Lovelorn

As I sit once more in this chair,
trying to fit word to page in some nice way,
inspiration seems, this evening, rare;
my muse is distracted, keeping melancholy at bay.

I long for a soft, pliant embrace,
shared by a maiden draped in silken thread;
moonlight brightening her already radiant face,
and her enchanting smile, at what could lie ahead.

Her shining hair pours down her back,
like the rain in which we stand;
the right way she seems to lack,
as she looks to me for a guiding hand.

These hands glide down, around her waist,
and slowly we begin to dance.
Underneath the stars, our own new path is traced,
as we float along, in our lover's trance.

The feel of her, so near and so warm,
I cling to, like a drowner's lifeline;
her every sigh, her very form,
beyond my imaginings of the divine.

To go on like this, held enchanted
in her eyes, serenity's sweet founts,
I feel would be my heaven granted;
my trials, her affection surmounts.

The haze shimmers, the dream recedes,
leaving me dazed, shaken in its wake;
as ever and always, my heart bleeds,
craving an end to its boundless, yearning ache.

Whatever Weekend

Being humble common pathways ere,
I ought traveled nearby that lea,
Past the margin of my home there,
Where the daffodils fickle sprightly,

As I shared the natural trail lead,
General impressions befall o'er sunlit,
E'er lighthearted to the bird's melodies,
I travailed the character of it,

Simple yet well organized,
Amongst the laughter, ere rumored whisper,
Neath a yellow sky, midst squinting eyes,
Masses traverse and heed a rise to prosper,

Yonder the verdant meadow rest,
Spreads of marigolds and violet folds,
Concerts of pleasantries and greets confess,
A myriad of countless told's,

Ere me, couples digress,
In accompany of solitude,
Tis a time out that be abreast,
A sea of people floats a multitude,

Be it so accordingly,
As time drifts in emptied homes,
Consequently, there is aplenty,
As crowds trends above the loams,

A tad of clouds sparse the sky,
Disperses a legion directly afoot,
The grassland, not shade as far one espy,
Groups forward motion advances e'er square foot,

Gleaming sunrays whips into action,
Clouds impart a rainbow into the landscape,
As they convert into a diminutive and fade into a fraction,
And a colorful fancy fulfills a dreamscape,

The call of an afternoon squanders the present,
As Sun of a constant drops e'er so slightly,
Fingered flip-flops drape backsides, marks a day well-spent,
Chorale of winged birds past a flung open door, gradually,

As dusk crowned heaven undresses the night,
And a sequined of stars sparkle a whirling, whereat,
Slumberous thoughts transpire while well-kept dreams ignite,
Midnight's slide into a twilight that trips into dawn's golden chariot.
