My Bleeding Bandage: The Cure That Cuts Me

You warped my consciousness as a snake chokes its prey,
Being the crayons of my colourless tale meant to be grey,
Once a lonely rope left swinging, now your creeper coils along my way,
A drifting cloud carved by storms finally opens to its long-lost day.

A straight thread now tangles itself into the loops of your thoughts,
Being the spell that breaks open the oldest knots of my hate and curse knots,
Once a lone trunk now splits into paths that rise to make your leaves’ bed,
A lost traveller scorched in heatwave’s furnace finally discovers its shed.

A body consumed by your soil, atom to atom in it,
An exhausted, burning soul dissolves into your gathering clouds as it sits,
Consciousness dilutes in the pure solution of your life,
The last breaths of mine always rest in the veins of your heart’s life.

Miss the quiet so go to the porch
Drawn into its pleasure.
Awesome way to start a day.
Viewing nature's measure

Water sprinklers imitate rain.
Man's poor substitute
Across the way God's gift breath takes
Fulfills not dilutes.

The ambiance surrounds all plants.
And the poet out on the porch'
A relaxation covers all.
Hold high nature's torch!

Sometimes nature does go astray.
From God's divine plan
Mankind has interrupted it.
Now the world needs giant fan.

The sun is now higher in the sky.
Soon it 'twill be too hot.
Inside in the AC is the only spot.
Napping on a cot.

Premium Member Hell Ain'T a Bad Place To Be

Look all around, what do we all see
The world seen so young is it what we believed it to be

For this is a world that grows with mans time
It's now a ticking clock with destruction it's chime

It beggars belief that it's so full of hate
If it exists will we ever reach heavens gate

So many people in power determine our tomorrows
They lie when they get there, growing rich from our sorrows

Citizens who are ailing have to pay for their care
Whilst the vultures in high towers, just look down and stare

Children in pyjama's fight endless needless wars
What in the hell are we fighting them for

Gun culture and drugs, knife crime seems the passion
Our kids our future, it's now their neighbourhood fashion

The more our borders we keep open, it dilutes what we share
Many queue's we will stand in, in gape open stare

The answers are out there if they just open their eyes
And if they achieve it, well then this is their prize

We need much more than the thoughts from our hearts
If anyone is out there, help us humans restart

Everyday I look around, and from what I see
Hell ain't a bad place to be

Your precious art
Squeeze part by part

Feel free to stage
Page after page
New rhymes now age

If you must write
Quest for fond bites
Watch verse lines cite

In that dream flight
Sense knowing light
Glimpse of fine sight

See how you see
What must now be
Surge in swift spree

Be beyond blame
Seize empty frame
Cast your fine name

No time to waste
Make ample haste
Don't cut-and-paste

Seize happy cheer
Live lovely here
Cheer dilutes fear

Set out this day
Walk your own way
Pray as you play

See how change marks lot
Feel the surge of thoughts
Frame new play and plot

Change now mimics mime
Bargain for more time
To voice your own rhymes

Change feels very strange
Yield the dying range
Embrace thus due change

Flesh and blood and tears
Change dilutes old fears
Blots the scary years

If you feel forlorn
Know with change re-born
New pain strips what's torn

Hurts scream change full blast
Pain lays plain the cast
Yes from first to last

Change a story tells
Just how your tale dwells
Of a broken spell

Change if change must be
The truth that you see
Bitter-sweet honey

Know the chronic feel
Classic urge reveal
Dying as change heals

The last one runs wild
Change is seldom mild
To adult and child

Change alters all things
In a constant fling
Ever becoming

Ditch greed, self-satisfaction, and selfishness.
Break free from the high-stress atmosphere.
I aim to overwhelm myself with full awareness.
wasting my breath by uttering worthless fear.

Break free from the high-stress atmosphere.
Cast wayward in the raging wind and thick fog.
wasting my breath by uttering worthless fear.
Grief breeds faint hope as it dilutes grim slog.

Cast wayward in the raging wind and thick fog.
This is a purification treatment for myself.
Grief breeds faint hope as it dilutes grim slog.
Flown over streams, lakes, and the house shelf

This is a purification treatment for myself.
Swimming in my huge ocean invites me back.
Flown over streams, lakes, and the house shelf
And moon-glazed seas send me to sleep track.

Swimming in my huge ocean invites me back.
I aim to overwhelm myself with full awareness.
And moon-glazed seas send me to sleep track
Ditch greed, self-satisfaction, and selfishness.

Stillness prompts peace where freshness airs,
Apt streams of light sparkle and shine;
Calm mellows ease with succinct flair,
Rich lavish sights cast moments fine;
Embrace fond chimes where love makes whole,
Dance and dream well of wonder's grace.
Silence brings rhymes to touch deep soul,
Prize sacred tell in poignant space;
Ascend true flight with waves of joy,
Choice firms bold poise as finesse crafts;
Enlist thought right in glimpse of plot.
Noise dilutes voice in makeshift draft,
Observe bright tints of happy finds,
Word thus grand mint as feel moves mind.

In the cacophonic chaos of life I seek peace,
delve into my soul’s serene niche,
perceive the pleasure of nothingness
in the void and tranquil depth of bliss,
where I savor the sweetness of solitude.

In the lonely island of life I like to be
suffused with supine shower of quietude,
find at the inert depth within a new me,
turned into a hermit I realize it as my reality,
in the quiescent insight I lose my duality.

As the full moon traverses my sleepy sky,
night’s opaque aloneness the stardust dilutes,
I drink eyeful while indolent time passes me by.
Mind gets drenched in delight my inaction elutes,
and in charmed trance of rapture I become mute.

Across the still sea of my serene soul,
the alluring horizon of love
I long to see wait at the edge of eternity,
where my yearning soars through emptiness
with the idyll thoughts in my idle time.

Premium Member How Still Is Our Stillness

Acceptant eye in the midst of chaos,
detects a trace of subtle aversion
borne in heart, uncomfortable with loss,
thus yearning for deeper bliss immersion.

Endless seeking to become what we are,
signals soul's blossoming is incomplete,
for in stillness too we struggle and spar
apprehensive when dilutes love's bliss beat.

Identification with body-mind,
in as desiring a preferred outcome,
is the cause that makes us to God's light blind,
stupor stifling our soul's innate bliss hum.

Unless soul's awareness be rippleless,
we will be compelled to make do with less.
