I would have a jot
Like small minute dots a conjoined in a line
Like intermittent drops
Consolidated into clouds
The river we see a product sure
And so do ideas crystallize too
On this plane and plain paper
In a distant away
Like vapor in formation of clouds,
And precipitation
So do small vapor drops-
Or in a mirage way
The glimpse befits grasping a fish bare
And ideas in formation like fish are
In a flowing water stream
That untamable lay in bare hands
Then I thought the seed way
A quite minute object to toss
To trample or pick and use
Or eat and rot and piss
Yet in it life is
Live lay in dormancy
In exposure though severe
In heat and pressure and tear
In environment conducive optimum
In light and water and soil
In darkness in groping in wastedness
In light do a seed vibrate and wear
The indifferent coats tear and toss
In light a seedling sprout follow
Then in inquisition ardent
Seek an answer
A puzzle affix to this question indeed
The reason of being around
Growing in the light
For a seed in us lay
In its untamed dynamism
And in utter exposure to light and right
The conditions meeting the demand
So will dormancy give to tear and rot
And a seed coat toss
And life thrives
Then a tree here, a tree there
And soon or later there lay a forest dense
Serving natures demands in carbon
For we like seeds
Do grow in light and right
And in light become right!
Truth was on our side,
Lay with us in sprightliness;
The natural relegated itself,
To machinery and forcefulness.
Guns and ammunition raged,
Tanks threw balls galore,
Necessity was with the engineers,
And not abundant nature’s store.
But nature consolidated and was with us,
For though winds blew and we did hide,
We did not ever too deeply question them,
Because they never questioned our pride.
There can be no redder flower,
Than the poppy, steady and strong,
Alluding to life-cycle continuation,
By germination certain and long.
Hope lies with our thoughts,
Our desire for peace and love,
And in the poppy we can hope,
That animosity we come above.
Our hands are tied, Death
Since you dawned on us this New Year . . .
Shapely bottles of champagnes have shone
And have broken to fragments with the ululation
Of firecrackers that warmed cold and dark wintry skies.
Now, aphonia sets in from unending lamentations.
Headlines, buried by the chilly bones of winter,
Are barren of good tidings.
A chionophile besieges the rim of a sedulous Yuletide
Grieving by oneiric alleys . . .
I speak of the Friedhof of haunting grimness behind
The curtains of howling winds;
Chants that frequent the disease of frightened melodies, stained
With the aged banality of youthful death;
And the purlieu of cremated souls and consolidated ashes.
Daggers are drawn to paint skulls on canvas slit by the
Whispering tongues of fire
Candles burn their tallow gently on the skin of cancer,
A stinkaroo that stinks with rage.
We do not know how else to turn the calendar.
The edges brim with hostile, burning blood,
Frozen with bits of hate and servile penetralia.
New Year hangs the singed sigil of death
On the bosom of fattened scrolls.

If you were to embrace me one moment,
I would melt in the fissures of your throbbing prestidigitation
My heart would dare not let me see the poison you excrete
My mind would make excuses, to be in your arms again
Devil! how you break me down so lovingly,
With fingers so candid on my gyrating frame
I am frightened by the chords you play on me
With those magic lips and that impassioned tongue
I befall speechless as I clutch you
Your auspicious words keep me partially consolidated,
As I tremble with every whisper in this gelatinous agitation
I mean to divorce my pleading fervor so that I may breathe
And overcome this pressing desire to please you
Devil! how you weigh me down so blithely,
I cringe, and I recoil—you merely close in
With certainty you plunge unwavering
Your sorcery slaying all of my resistance
If I were to embrace you again,
The fires of promise you enchant me with would die, and slowly
The ice of your soulful lies would shatter my mind, so fixedly
And my stubborn heart would cry, cursedly,
“You have endured thus far, and forever always!”
He goes through each day
obsessing over how to
increase his earnings.
Times are hard.
He's drowning in debt;
his bills gradually piling up.
Creditors bug him so much,
he feels like screaming;
soon landlord will come knocking.
He consolidated his loans;
it hasn't made much of a difference
He asked his boss for overtime,
nothing doing.
He applied for a second job,
no dice. He's still waiting for a call back.
He wants to start a home business,
but doesn't enough start up cash.
Desperation is gradually setting in.
He's put unneeded clothes
on consignment,
he's holding garage sale,
rationing food,
clipping coupons,
exercising for free,
shopping in thrift stores,
bicycling to work
and he's cut cable television
down to basic. Anything...
to decrease his spending.

Joshua Nkomo fought the white man
Who had come to Africa, taken the land
The whites ruled Rhodesia, though we should note
Toward the end they had one man one vote
Which meant that blacks and whites
in that respect had equal rights.
Nkomo saw his fight as one of racial liberation
Mugabe, his rival, also fought for a black nation.
Mugabe was a Shona, Nkomo a Ndebele
Neither of them were what you'd call a nice fella,
Russia supported the Ndebele, the Shona had China there
North Korea trained Shona too, a reason to beware
Mugabe became leader but not by winning the fight
He got elected, Shona voters had more might
White rule ended, and all lived happily ever after
Actually, not true, what happened next was a disaster
Mugabe unleashed the Five Brigade
They had trained in North Korea, time for Ndebele to be afraid
So what can we learn, I don't have a dog in this fight
I don't think colonial rule was right
The Ndebele tribe were now killed en masse
Vast numbers of corpses under the African grass.
The lesson as I see it is that the violent liberator
May resonate with you, but he can be a hater
When he gets into power, to keep power he kills
While the sympathizers close their eyes to the blood that spills.
Let’s apply this lesson to leftists in the Hamas tent
A few brave Gazans point out Hamas doesn't like dissent
One dissident's first day in jail haunts his dreams
He can't forget listening to his colleagues’ screams.
Hamas members won an election, made logical moves
They consolidated power, threw rivals off roofs.
Again, both rivals weren’t all that nice
Even if you like their cause, there is a moral price.
You can find justice in many a cause, but that doesn't mean
Those who take up arms are worthy of your esteem.
In the 90’s radicals might wear a Che Guevara t-shirt
But beware, when with communists you flirt.
Che liked witnessing executions by firing squad
He’d shoot the bullet too, so admiring him is odd.
Some Cubans learned the hard way, Joshua Nkomo did as well
You can leave Purgatory and still end up in hell.
Know this, my friend, and don’t look back,
Be you white or brown or black.
Freedom’s more than a rebel’s name,
It’s how you treat folks once you’ve won the game.
When a husband
stop being a boyfriend,
to be just a husband,
he is in danger ...
The woman who is a flower of affection
if she does not find it in her nest
can seek it in another love ...
even a little bit ...
It's not love
no pretense ...
it is pure necessity!
The woman needs attention,
does not wish to be another in life,
she desires treatment, dedication.
Always treat her dearly ...!
So, dear infants,
don't stop being lovers,
don't love out of obligation ...!
Be the prince of charming,
even a little tired
you will find that I am right ...
I already suffered a lot thinking
everything consolidated!
But it is not ...
No lying on your side
and leave the woman on the side
sighing in solitude ...!
“Anything can be achieved if you set your mind to it.”
Kim was born with the rare disease Poland’s syndrome,
Which means that he has abnormal or missing muscles,
On the left side of his chest wall, but surgery did tone.
A student of Medicine and Surgery at Leeds University,
He was a proud junior, the Under-13 level World No. 2,
In the sport of table tennis, ‘cos it's speed and closeness,
Instantly excited him when he tried it at nine, it had hue.
He made his international debut in 2008 at age sixteen,
And won lots of gold medals, came fourth at the Euros,
In 2011, which took him onto the London Paralympics,
Which are set in him as his epic, life-changing clothes.
So at the Slovenia Open in 2013, Kim won the bronze,
And then at the European Championships in the singles,
He made the quarter finals, but then at the Belgian Open,
He took the gold in the class 10 of the singles with ingles.
2014 saw him win a silver at the Slovenian Open again,
And then when he travelled to the Cote d’Azur to compete,
In their International, Kim consolidated his choice talent,
By stylishly taking the gold in the singles, a victory sweet.
Kim took a year off his studies in 2015 to prepare for Rio,
And in 2016 at Italy’s Lignano Master Open, determiner,
He secured a bronze in the singles, so Rio was certain,
There he reached the singles, team quarters: a winner.

(insider trading)

Our minds are assaulted daily by political tune,
by infiltrating our minds with the same tired old song.
Consolidated thinking they attempt to attune,
by promising voters "stuff" their careers they prolong.
With insider information they make stock trades,
information that others aren't privileged to know.
Nothing being black and white but in varying shades,
they feast on corrupted vittles, while observing wealth grow.
Politicos think voters, insignificant squirts,
Insider trading is unlawful and a rejection.
While they got richer, many others have lost their shirts,
so for those of privilege let’s make an exception.

and appoint the great ones to public office.”
