Premium Member Una Visita Con Mama -- a Visit With Mama

We walk the rocky shore and you lean heavily on me,
Mother, bruising my balky arm -- muttering "Ay, Hijo!".
A few steps and, breathless, we are both exhausted.

Your once-brown eyes, gone gray, are like
concentric rings rippling from a random stone
thrown into this polluted pond in winter.

Cataracts cloud your lenses; they have a ruptured look --
purple, jellied -- like the eyes of a dead fish which I poke,
perversely fascinated. It is puffed and rotten.

Your eyes are puffed, too, red-rimmed,
moist with tears that brim over
though you try to blink them back.

That you love me and I you,
and that we wish to extend
our time together, is clear.

As clear as the fetid water in the pond,
as clear as my conscience when I drop you
at the Home, having invented a meeting,
to which I must hastily fly.

What Fame Con Do

What fame can do

Parked outside the local supermarket I saw a Rolls Royce
I straighten my shoulder and walked in with dignity.
The staff looked tense like an Imam had visited a church sermon.
Then I saw him, a tall elegant man deeply tanned, I can´t say black
anymore, but my wife comes from Kinshasa.
He walked around the shop looking at things unnerving us,
finally, he bought an apple, ate it on his way to the rolls,
Threw the apple core away entered (open-topped)
And drove away.
The staff was relieved, told me he was a famous actor,
It is not every day such an elevated personality visited our shop.

say what? gibberish jabber and jive
thrown off by that name design
i’ll pause for hee-larious devilish crime,
just this once, yo!
befriending puzzled game of who i am

roarrr! gotta hang loose and chillax...

click the clock and go with moment’s groove
if i hear some laughs, i’ll con you with slum stuff
for now, i ain’t your momma’s sweet thing
to give what’s due, let your green bucks talk
my tricky demons have been impatient,
now let that flat tire settle you.

this rhythm spins for bad, bad girl i’ve never been...

drums roll for a con girl… i’m ready for bullying
spinnin out scum and knowing i spit the shots
sleeky me, too not quick to catch
upside down and underground,
brace yourself or turn around. if you do please,
keep your smarts… street life is my major major punk

i’m callin last call, and all of you, hear this...

it’s time to bail out and bounce up,
live beyond lucid dreams and spark your plug
far beyond the images we see, there are split
mirror- dualities of what seem to be… see, i fancied
the title “Candle Net Out” also known as
nette on the clouds…too pretty and normal,
i’m experimental,
let me shock you from inside out…

just for today, it’s wickedly freaky showtime!

PD's Any Twisted Poem

Fake Fish

Every where in the world
When you eat fish
In a restaurant

The restaurant owners
Claim it is salmon or tuna
Or other delicious fish

But the sad reality
60 percent of the time
You are eating fake fish

The fish may be fish
Or may not be fish
But if it is indeed fish
It is probably tilapia

Or some other cheap
Bottom feeding scumbag fish
Filled with toxins

And possibly tape worms
And other parasites

And as you eat your delicious fish
You are eating the fake fish

And helping the fish industry
Continue this con game

But there is nothing you can do
Except for catching your own fish
And preparing it yourself

So, when you eat fish
Pretend if you must

That you eating salmon or tuna
While you eat your tilapia
And pay the salmon/tuna premium price

He goes with ego
Many go with him
Those without ego,
Patience is wearing thin

He is a traitor,
It is clear to see
He is a dictator
His favourite word is ME

He isn't concerned
About others, only self
How did he become President
Why? Of course, for pelf.

Power and greed
Is all that interests him
When is he going to pay
For the betrayal and sin,

He has caused, without a qualm,
When will he be punished?
For all the heartbreak and harm
He has instigated,

And delegated to others,
Who are not in a position to refuse
To fight their fellow brothers,
In a WORLD WAR,

How much farther can he go?
Before he understands the word NO
And has to succumb,
To the rule of thumb.

And pay for his misdeeds,
Before it is too late.
How can anyone be in Power for so long?
While doing wrong,

For goodness sake, please GO.
And take your EGO with you,
I am afraid you will GROW
Stronger like a virus

And it would be outrageous,
If we all become contagious.

Upon the Saddle Con Amore

The perception that marriage is lack of connected with "craziness"
                          Empathy, and Unresolved Conflicts
Poor communications and the lack of effective communicative skills
and the constant influences of others can cause a relationship to fail
She wished to stand out front of the crowd by impressing her friends,
she had been unfaithful to all those she had afflictions with and when
she meet a stranger she said she had been blessed now she was able to
leave all the others alone and start new with the guy she had just meet...
Negative interaction developed days after she told her new male friend
that she was pregnant and he was the father: they celebrated happily and smiled before the world as they had planned to marry: she said that these
had been the happiest four months of her life: but when they went to the doctor the doctor said she was six months pregnant. Well the guy told her that he could not be the father due to the time frame. She told him she was only four months pregnant to just stick around and see. Well he did, and three months later a beautiful daughter emerged, and he packed up and left. He detached from the craziness, and found someone who loved him without the need of involving many people to make a spectacle of oneself and others.

Via Con Dios

Clinging to the angry gnashing teeth of gods,
Cursing the thousand misfortunes there endured
Yet in mortal terror of letting go,
We suffer.

A dying multitude,
We listen to drizzling turbines
Muttering darkly in the earth,
Turning the seasons in mindless procession.
We listen for the word of affirmation,
Declaration of purpose.
The muttering continues.

Born to pain,
Raised on affliction,
Aged in despair,
We go...
Screaming kicking clawing
We make our way to the grave...
Afraid of the Reaper,
We deathgrip our agony,
Clutch it to our hearts
And pray
For one more day.

Forswearing mortality,
Some are driven to the sanctuary of a creator
While others vomit up bad poetry.
