I am a tiny winged buzzing insect
A friend to folks and flowers alike
Another name for hard work
Toiling untiring from dawn to dusk
I set out merry, humming a tune,
On my professed mission of gathering honey
The flowers freshly bathed in dew
Eagerly await my propitious visit
I like to flit from flower to flower
I love dallying with floral beauties
Gladiolus, Chrysanthemums and Petunias
Red geraniums and colorful Zinniahs
But I prefer to hover over clustered blooms
Which hang from trees’ stooping boughs
From each flower I sup to my fill
And my body gets covered in yellow dust
I don’t believe in the Epicurean dictum
Of ‘Eat, drink and be merry’
Neither do I live just for today
I await a future that is trouble free
We work tireless till the day is done
And see that every cell of our hive is full
We never complain of those among us
Who stay idle and thrive on our labor
Never grumble against the privileged Queen
Who enjoys unique status with rights many
For we respect the Nature-ordained hierarchy
As we know, a mob without a leader would be anarchy

My 25th Leaf
Picked thee from grown-up
Now in a small cup
Among leaves of nine
Of a dwarf-sized plant
Here, it's third “fortune!”
Perhaps a teacher
Or a gardener
A student could be
One who planted thee
TED territory
Twelfth day of this March
Sometime during lunch
While TED preparing
Lit. Day happening
This is second time
Along the pathways
Of Teacher Ed. place
Beside a classroom
Of BEED 2
Planted on a pot
Used as souvenir
For Lit. Day this year
With balls colorful
Artificial soil
In a ‘lil blue cup.

Once carved its path to the doorway of your heart, and gathered there all the sidewalks you dared tread of barefoot soul. Walking amongst those flits and flares, your shadows cast. The noon-day sun burns bright this starred and barred swag. Its colorful wisdom speaks without mouth or tongue. A language, an embodiment, a truth, pursed often, prevailed upon by even fewer. In the shade of Honor, Content and Commitment YOUR colors be worn as they wave and flap in the breeze. Those often forsaken truths do lie upon its lofty brow, it beckons thus a history of United Country, of State, of Freedom and Liberty.
A life sought by many, gifted to even fewer, and as such, "MAY GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE SHALL NOT PERISH FROM THE EARTH."
Thanks God it's Friday!
Good time was spent in natural zoo
I calmly watched some of cool wild animals,
Birds, cats, monkeys ,and few more..
It was fantastic show
Full-moon gray baboon retells his old,
Doing its best to catch up Funny Silia Little Crow
Sometimes smart sometimes fool
uses her best to fellow and follow
Double-dealer white snake was not cool at all
Vapid Dick Nose seems sick as used to be bow
Inspector colorful bird sings once in awhile
One cat plays in cute childish ways with a cow
The sweet eyes Wolf was busy observing the cat
Dove was not in her pretty nest though
Marvelous Indian Ruby Canary sings
with her true lovely tone and colors I saw,
and some other beautiful neat birds
who are smoothly leaving their sows to grow
Form:
We always ate salad when I was a kid,
With lettuce and carrots and cukes
And also tomatoes and olives at times
But today, that would bring some rebukes.
For the lettuce was iceberg, which I never buy,
Though we didn’t have choices back then
Or perhaps that’s the kind that my mother preferred,
So she bought it again and again.
I now buy arugula, sometimes romaine
Or a mixture of various kinds
Of colorful lettuces, common today,
Just like spinach, as grocery finds.
I still add tomatoes and carrots and, too,
Things like peppers and sugar snap peas,
But the lettuce will never be iceberg because
My mother’s not here to appease.
Time to tour the best Christmas-decorated places in town
With a map in hand of all the beautifully lit-up houses to be found
Despite the amount of time to set up and to take down the people have given us a wonderful gift for all of us to enjoy
Whole streets have banded together to create a visual spectrum of flashing lights and creative characters that bring smiles to all the girls and boys
Carollers can be seen going door to door singing songs full of joy
On the rooftops, Santa and his reindeer seem to be in control of the night, ready to deploy
As if like magic the clouds open up sending a burst of snow floating down
Soon the lawns will have a blanket of snow without so much as making a sound
In the living rooms, trees with their colorful attire show off to the people walking by
A large crowd has gathered at the end of the block, jolly old Saint Nick handing out candy canes and looking spry
Christmas may come once a year but joy and happiness need to be spread every day
As you walk by a neighbor who has decorated his place a special thanks should surely come his way
" Fantasy and economy on a one track mind "
Hello Kitty pretty bullet train
Lets go choo choo with you
Crazy fast from Osaka to Fukuoka
Pink and white inside and out
Purple seats are soft and comfy
All these fantastic fantasies are plush
But are there toilets and vomit bags
Is this a bus
Such hallucinations make me dizzy
Hello Kitty! I can't even say Shinkansen
Spelling the name is silly and insane
Not everyone on Earth has a three year old
Welcome abroad little Hello Kitty kids
Bring plenty of Monopoly money sweetie
The bills are so colorful tiny and small
Take daddy with you too with real green cash
Hello Kitty trains run sugar sweet on tracks
On imagination in fact
In loco crazy locomotion in reverse
Pretty in pink but nothing runs for free

Outside my window,
the leaves are in a frenzy~
twirling, shaking and flying about
the wind just sending them off
in a scattered dance...
so similar to the
thoughts
chaotic in my mind
Sleep comes around,
but the dreams do not.
Or do they?
And I've forgotten them yet again.
They are but fleeting wisps for me...
iridescent ribbons of subconsciousness
winding through me,
teasing,
then eluding me
When I try to touch them,
my fingers ripple through a smoky haze
So real to me, yet intangible
Sometimes I wonder
whether I could pour something
over these dreams,
Splash! And they crackle,
crystallizing them, finally captured
Smooth, sharp, tangible
and then I change my mind,
since it doesn't feel right...
Like caging something
to admire its beauty
Somehow, even the word dream
seems so ethereal to me,
they are but soft whispers
weaving through my slumbering self
My dreams,
they have a voice
so melodic, yet incomparable
so beautiful, yet unrecoverable
My dreams,
they come in color
so alive, yet muted
so alive, yet unreal
My head touches the pillow,
and I sink into slumber,
a myriad of thoughts finally settling down,
as undulating curls of dreams rise up around me
Come to think of it,
this creates for me such a
fascinating image...
Myself enveloped in darkness,
with wispy colorful ribbons
floating by all around me
as I dream on...
a quick reprieve from reality

Farewell to Summer
Fond caresses as two seasons meet in summer’s bliss
Autumn bends to fondly leave a farewell harvest kiss;
Remembering your long days and cricket singing nights,
Evening’s breath beneath clear skies of shooting stars so bright;
Washed by waves that dance a jig upon smooth tan beach sands
Exquisite diamond tides foam upon the strands;
Lovely lady, all dressed up in gossamer sunshine,
Leaves the sweetest memories of easygoing days behind.
Tomorrow reaches out to gently take her fragrant hand –
Overtures of gratitude sprung from nature’s plan;
Summer’s gown of greenest greens now redesigned,
Umber hues of scarlet silk with thin gold leaf entwined;
Midnight moments still buzz and swell just for a little while –
Misty veils lifted up reveal her fading morning smile;
Enter Autumn, quietly, with colorful embrace
Rest now Summer, wrapped in dreams, your sister takes your place.

Lily bloom
opening wide eyed and colorful collide
in the sun of mid afternoon.
Bouquet blends abound
and hues relayed in the colors found;
creamy yellow sunrises, starlight glimmers,
ivory bells, red eyed tiger fills that shimmer;
purple haze in red sox crimson
pink persuasion garnets visions;
angel choirs of arabesque dreams,
bittersweet belladonna dark schemes;
brushstroke cavalese, doeskin elise,
graffiti tapestries. panache butterflies at peace;
lace fantasy scherherazade, royal trinity renoir,
stargazer siberian sorbet bazaars;
magic starbursts of sultry melodies,
trumpet notes with messages and imaged memories.
Productive and illustrious bulbs
step lively thru the day of earth's bountiful display
short and tall, buddings rise as green unfolds.
Border lilies bow to the sides
and in between the flow of the colors glow
openings sway in breezy tides.
The lilies increase and multiply
one bud alone is tough with beauty never enough
as numbers reach to touch the sky.
Lily blooms no longer just white
take in the rainbow for the show
to breathe and bloom, a ballet dance in flight.
