Mary Poppins Makes a Visit
By Elton Camp
When Mary decides she wants a job
Other applicants of a chance will rob
She causes a strong wind to blow
Riding umbrellas, off they do go
When competitors are no longer around
From the sky she comes floating down
In order to make sure that she gets hired
Convinces Banks she is what’s desired
Upstairs to the nursery she does go
Gives the children a magic show
Then of her own self, she does say,
“Practically perfect in every way.”
When she takes them on the street
An old friend, Burt, they do meet
His drawings made of chalk
They admire on the sidewalk
By her power, they pop inside
There they find horses to ride
In the fantasy world can stay no more
Once a heavy rain does start to pour
The two wet children then are told
Take this medicine to avoid a cold
When they began to frown
Found a way to get it down
To swallow it they couldn’t well refuse
Because of the song Mary did choose
Both kids thought it very neat
When the stuff tasted sweet
Mary then had a very strong feeling
They’d like a tea party on the ceiling
When happy, they floated up in the air
Stayed there as long as they had no care.
Of Mary’s antics Mr. Banks got tired
Decided it was time she should be fired
Getting him to take them to work was a trick
With serious consequences that made him sick
Though the tuppence was only a tiny amount
Banker wanted Michael’s money in an account
Of that the boy saw no need
The birds he wanted to feed
When his money he did demand
Other customers didn’t understand
They didn’t think it was in fun
And on the bank began a run
That very night, Mr. Banks was called back
Board of Directors would give him the axe
But into his mind did spring
What was the important thing
Mary had shown him how to enjoy
Spending time with his girl and boy
Mean old banker laughed until he died
But the Directors’ Board took it in stride
“Mr. Banks, we have a fine notion
Take you back with a promotion.”
And Mary, her job all done,
From the house she did run.
I took my children in October
To a castle in the hills.
We were enchanted by its splendor,
Awing grandeur and strange thrills.
Purple plumes of smoke were pouring
From big chimneys in the sky.
The silver moon came out of hiding.
Scary bats began to fly.
I told my self I couldn’t go on
With those bats flying around.,
But with my children so excited,
I simply could not let them down.
I heard moans and groans and cackles
Coming from those castle rooms
And I thought I saw some witches
Flying wildly on their brooms.
I gathered up my children
Fearing that one could be lost
With ghosts and goblins in the castle.
That would be too high a cost.
So I took them to a motel
Where live folks were all about.
Real spooks on Halloween is something
I for one could do without.
I took a head count of my children
And I seemed to have one more
Than I had when we went bravely
Through that big old castle door.
I took him with us trick or treating
Up and down the city street.
He was already dressed in costume,
Eye holes poked into a sheet.
I got them ready for the bathtub
Before putting them to bed
And to help the little stranger,
Pulled the sheet from off his head.
I dropped the sheet and left it lying
Upon the bathroom floor.
When I turned to bathe the urchin
He was not there any more.
The next Halloween my children
Went trick or treating once again.
I counted twice, and there were four
Where only my three should have been.
So it’s been forever after,
Just the same each Halloween
I take my children trick or treating
With another in between.
He’s just as happy as the others
With his bag of candy treats,
But when I try to free him of them
He’s not there beneath the sheets.
I am hoping when my children
Such small pleasures have out grown,
I’ll still have that little stranger,
I need not trick or treat alone.
( I took one from my past and changed it a bit to fit. It is not absolutely new. You
didn't mention if it had to be. all new. I can remove it if necessary.
So how was I to ever know?
What a monster you would become
You raised her as your own
As a dad she loved you
Then you gave my daughter children times two
And turn the two children you and I share in together against me
All because like me she wanted and needed to be free
With all that has taken place you blame only me
Isn’t time you put the reasonability where it should be?
If you look in the mirror that face you see
Is the cause of all the problems and all the damn misery
And now that her and I are away from you
We’re both stronger together
Than you will ever be standing alone
We will fight just as hard
You might as well let go
But we both know you won’t
Wish I knew then what I now do
You’re a monster, a devil, and a freak of nature
For what you’ve done
And in the thinking that everything will work out in your favor
I don’t regret the kids we have together
Nor do I regret my grandkids
They can’t help that they now have one hell of a sorry excuse for a so called father
But I wholeheartedly resent you
No matter how I was to try I can’t go back and change it
Only can we all move forward
You put a damn good game show
I hope the book, at you, is what they throw
I still continue to beat myself up within this for my role
I should’ve seen the signs but didn’t
I should’ve taken her word but at the time couldn’t
But then again
How was I then to ever know?
The real you

I believe our children are the future men, and women of tomorrow
We can only teach them well, and allow them to lead the way.
let them express all the beauty they posses deep within. It would
give them a sense of pride, high self esteem, and remind us how
we use to be.
Real gems so precious, and dear to me, and i love them all just the same.
They are loving, inteligent, and gifted too, unique in character, here are their
four names. Zerelda, Zica, Zenique and Zeon, three girls and just one boy.
They were lent to me to love, appreciate, and mould, that will leave a lasting
legacy when i am grey and old.
The things they come up with boggles my mind, they are the funniest little
children a dad could ever find. My duty is to guide, and direct them in a balance
way, preparing them for the future when decision making begin some day.
Children needs love, support, protection, a sense of direction, and who is more
fitting to give. Charity begins at home, and extend as far as rome, what you
expect in return, depends on how much your willing to give.
I will give my children what they really deserve, they may not find it any other way, except
threw the wrong crowd, when it is too late. Its my job to make a start, and do the best i can.
Love you
lots all the zeessssssss

WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN 9-19-01
What about the children, they are our future world leader; politicians; teachers; law
enforcers; fire fighters; doctors and nurses who will run our country tis of thee, we sing.
But when the enemy comes to tear down Jordan’s Wall’s and executes their heroic, cowardly
acts, what type of future for our children does this bring?
WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN, is anyone listening, please hear them out. If there’s no peace
amongst us now to rectify all of this inhumane disorder, there will be no future
generation to run our country, no doubt.
WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN, what happened to justice and liberty for them all? They were
promised humanity; equal rights; and fair gain. Not knowing today or tomorrow whether to
evacuate their safe heavens due to the crashing into buildings by highjackers with their
very own hometown planes.
WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN, it’s time to protect and safeguard their little lives. Now is the
time to make a grand stand, so that the children can grow up to be grown ups and raise
their children to help rule our land.
To teach our children how to pray
we first need to teach them what to say
When we brings our needs to God above
we know He's listening with all His love
No matter what problems we have today
we can take them to God when we pray
Everyday we face many fears
and our faces flow with many tears
Our tears may flow but still we know
that through our prayers we can grow
We must let them know that God takes care
to listen to what they have to share
We teach our children how to recite
the same old prayer every night
Prayer to God should not be the same
to teach them that would be a shame
Before our children go to bed at night
before we turn out the light
we should kiss them, hold them tight
Now we have opened the door
and they see Him as never before
God suddenly is real
now they understand why we kneel
Now they can tell Him their feelings were hurt today
they can tell Him how much fun they had at play
With head bowed low they can begin to say
Now I lay me down to sleep
my secrets I will no longer keep
Now I know how to pray
now I know what to say
Now I'll tell God about my day!

"Respect Your President" is a children's song, sung to the tune of "The Farmer in the
Dell".
Respect your president,
Respect your president.
He's the leader of your country-
And that's quite an accomplishment!
Bonus activity: Explain to children that, should they ever meet the president, they
should respectfully address him as Mr. President. Teach children some of the
important duties our president has-commanding the armed forces, urging Congress
to pass laws and being a role model for the people. Explain that it takes months
(even years) of campaigning followed with a vote by the electoral college to get
elected to the presidency.
Note: Although this bonus activity refers to the Presidency of the United States of
America, it can be easily adapted for other countries. What responsibilities does
your president have?
Little children who love Jesus
Have no foe nor forces to fear
Little children who have Jesus
Will always have him ever near
Little children who know Jesus
Have no cause to yell or yearn
Little children, who are close to Jesus
Always have lovely lessons to learn
Little children who plays with Jesus
Are always charming and cheerful
Little children who prays to Jesus
Are always bright, bold and beautiful
Little children who read books of Jesus
Are always wiser and ten times better
Little children who look up to Jesus
Always have more than bread and butter
Little children who always obey Jesus
Will be a friend of his father in heaven
Little children who always stay with Jesus
Will have a mighty mansion in heaven
"Verbs" is an activity song for children. Start the lesson by saying, "Today, we're all
actors and the classrooom is our stage." Then, sing the following song:
Verbs are action words like
Run (have children run in place) and jump (have children jump up and down) and
shout (have children cup their hands around mouths and pretend to shout).
Let's think of more action words
That we can all act out!
Bonus activity: Ask each child if he or she can think of an action word then have all
of the children perform that action. If children need help, suggest:
Rake,
Bake.
Walk,
Talk.
Sigh,
Cry.
Words don't have to rhyme!
