Don'T Weak Me Up

don't weak me up
don't press me in
your fun
cos you think am
common
don't make fun of
me
cos you feel is your
right
hi stop
don't weak me up

don't weak me up
you call me names
cos you think am
an ordinary immigrant
you curse words on my
personality
cos you think am an
animal
that why while i sit
in peace
you feel is your right
to border me around
hi stop
don't weak me up

don't weak me up
cos i need my peace
let the sleeping dog
lie in peace
then peace can reach you
with no hurt
don't intimidate me
cos you feel am not
your kind
just let me be
we all need a peace
or else
don't weak me up

don't weak me up
cos i have a beast in me
it quite till i get tease
for nothing
it like a biting wild lion
i could eat you up
with flames of brutality
like the fire of a dragon
so let me be if not
don't weak me up

don't weak me up
a quite man
 is a peaceful fellow
a peace fellow looks
for no trouble
no trouble around his
corner yet
when trouble comes
a quite man turns to a beast
to save his peace
in this quest let peace
be my friend and
don't weak me up

White man in the jungle;
Inner city ghetto Harlem;
Gramps getting old;

None of this makes any sense;
He’s not getting any younger walkin round town;
Ghetto town trin to be bad real hip now yah!!
I am out in the bars liquor joints pool halls, all my life;
Hustling stealing begN all my life;
None of this makes any sense;

Beggin from my mama and them
Beggin from my daddy bro I’m sadly
Running a red light pigs see me;
Just their delight more police brutality;
None of this makes any sense;

Now scared need to git out of here;
People all gathering in the streets;
Prostitutes and Pimps calling each other sweet;
People united maybe together
None of this makes any sense;

United maybe gathering on the roads;
Little dogs getting run over;
Surrounding the area none of this makes no sense;
Cut the baloney

Black man in rich man’s heaven no gasoline to put in our cars;
Ma just turned ninety-seven there’s a shortage on liquids water and Kool-Aid;
There’s no alcohol, beverages for bars;
Talking to myself I’m in such a mess a hell mess;
None of this makes any sense;

Nowhere to have I felt blessed
In and out old rest homes sanitariums institutions
I’m her son, still in and out bars, pool halls dealN drugs this ain’t no life;
People gathering in the street;
None of this makes any sense;

A little boy gets run over;
Gang violent surrounding the area;
People all together for one common cause my brother;
Come on sing with me people voice your views;
Change your mindset and your tools;
None of this makes any sense;

Follow the right directions based on falsities not truths, What?
Come on brothers and sisters sing sweet harmony;
Area none of this makes no sense;
Cut the baloney

The Woman Who Burnt Madurai

Kannagi, a woman of bravery and loyalty,
Who stepped up to the individuals of royalty.
A woman who symbolises burning morality,
Her husband executed in blood thirsty brutality.

A will of a tamil wife that could not be broken,
Flames and fire in Madurai had spoken.
A will of a tamil woman that could not be broken,
The choice of accusation over truth has woken.

A tear that shed red, honest blood,
No fire nor flame could be extinguished by a flood.
A virtue of a tamil heroine, which boils,
Her husband ashes buried beneath the soils.

Kannagi, the tamil woman of truth and balance,
The torch in her hand burned the Madurai palace.
Kannagi, a woman of bravery and loyalty,
Who stepped up to the individuals of royalty.

Crimson Rain

On a still...ancient horizon,
Massive dragon wings emerge,
To the atmospheric battlefield.
Where two legendary beasts,
Clash for the love...of a dragoness.

A battle of mythic proportions,
Of two stonily serpents in the sky.
Only three dragons remain,
The two wary warriors,
And the dragoness they fight for.

The flap of enormous wings,
Thunders the air abroad.
The fire in the sky illustrates,
That the battle has begun.

Fierce deafening roars,
Rape the quiet Delphi skies.
In a solemn brave attempt,
To win the dragoness’ heart.
She rests...nestled in the mountains,
For the winning warrior’s return.

Strident screams pierce the heavens,
From the vicious violent brutality.
Aggressive attacks resonate,
Vibrating her lair of stone,
As she shivers in despair and wonder.

Sharp talons pierce the scales,
Shredding the tissue of life.
Effervescent mists spray,
Staining the clouds with gore.

A thud hits the landscape,
And her attentive attention reacts.
Waiting with complete ambition,
A second thud thumps the landscape.

Curious eyes creep from the cave,
She wrestles with the thought of extinction,
As both...her warriors are slain,
Laying lifelessly...in a crimson rain.

What We Were Taught Vs the Reality

They say that honesty is the best policy.
However, a child confronting an elder with the same candour isn't a good quality.
They say there is no substitute for hard work.
So why do wealthy achieve the success we deserve? Is it our bad luck?
"Your character will give you respect"
But when you're successful, your character doesn't matters, why though? I object.
"Be thankful to all things"
But what about those horrible ones which cannot be helped with pills?
"Unity is strength"
Politics, backstabbing, fights, where all these negetive perks went?

Why the children are kept in a blur and left to discover the reality on their own?
This only result in their agony when they are grown.
'Cause whatever they thought is far different from the reality.
People are monsters, and this is just one of their brutality.

I Can'T Breathe

I cant breathe
Because you do not hear
My voice pleading.
My heart bleeding
A brother, a sister grieving
For the loss of life
That you have taken
Not in mistake
But in wanton evil

I can't breathe
When you should understand
my plight. my suffering, my blight
At your hands, your fists, your knees
Choking, thumping then deceased
In a swift act, another life is stolen
And then the mourning

I can't breathe
When I am anchored to the bottom rung
No hope of stepping forward
Only way is down
My future finished, before it began
My destiny drifting in a cloud,
In uncertainties
In soliloquies of redemption songs.

I can't breathe
Of the heartache caused
Newsflash!! another live lost.
To the hatred and indiscretions
Of an evil, dated in the past
Of post colonial dominance
Hoping, slavery will last

I cant breathe
That from the cradle to the grave
You denied  me
Opportunities and growth, that defines me
Brutality and pain you prescribed me
An in the stench of my suffering you plied me
With pain and hurt that riled me
Not thinking of the consequences
You start
to
squeeze
holding my breath,
my uttering,
With my last breath, I plead.
Mommy, hear my prayer
He is killing with his knees
Sinking to oblivion, with my last breath
I yield,
Let me breathe,
Let me breathe.

I Cant Breath

I cant breath
Nothing surprises me
Any more in a dying world
Even when my last breath
Means nothing to another man
My spirit never panic cos
It not strange
When life means nothing
To humans
In our dying world

I cant breath
The call for help
Is like just more or less
An echo in the air
Cos the hands to help
Are  withhold from reaching
The world
Evil lives more than goods
Nowadays
So in all honesty
Nothing surprises me
Not any more in a dying world
Not even when my last breath
Is taken away by force

I cant breath
Cos the knees
Of the devil is on
A force to my air
The brutality I don't deserve
Makes me more breathless
In a dying world
Is sad to see how my people
Die like nothing
I ask only when it could stop
I ask Africa to demand
It respect back from the world
If not we still  will
Be dying same like
Every other times like Floyd
Dying in brutal act of hatred
Destroyed by racism
Chase away from home
By tribalism
Trapped in injustice
Raped by the authorities
And killed by the knees
Of the one meant to protect
Your right
I wonder who cant breath
In this kind of world

Lost Touch

lost touch
sweet words on the lips
of a deceiver is equal
to no words
promises on the mouth
of politicians
could be equal to
empty words
if not why have they
lost touch

lost touch
they stand as our leaders
so confidence on election rallies
with empty words that sounds
promising
as we stand so foolishly
listening and believing
this words like the saviour's
are close to our needs
everywhere we hail
and chant their political
names like we finally
found the God saint
at the end of the day
they got the staff of power
only for their greed and
by their actions
is obvious that they have
lost touch

lost touch
they once touched
our souls with lies
they once touch
our hope with
hopelessness
they once touch
our life's in shadows
of poverty
they once looked
like the messiah
that can end our
miseries
they once made us
happy with empty
promises of change
till now they still
touch us with
brutality
when we understand
that they got no
knowledge to touch
our lives positively
cos they have
lost touch

lost touch
they have lost touch
cos they got no more soul
their actions brutalise
our soul
their greed creates a stagnant
growth to our future
their ideology is a scam
and now our life's pays
the price of corruption
our youth are in pains of
scarcity of basic needs
and dieing in hunger
yet we got them that are
full of promises from
the beginning of our
struggles of hope
in staff of power
to protect and serve
where they also where
born
where they grew up
where they were too feed
and educated
given a privilege to
the point of power
what else they need
from us
is a shame they gave their
back side to our sacrifice
and that makes it obvious
that they have
lost touch

Why Wait For Anything

Why wait for anything
and regret unrealized dreams
when even hope redeems?
Why have an awful feeling
and settle for uncertainty to come?
Rise above your hopelessness
and get rid of scary things
that affects almost everything...
what's your hesitation to cling
to choices that are better than none?

If life breathes into your awareness,
appreciation must be elevated considering
its sacredness that's never doubtful,
embrace it without being ungrateful;
if they deride you, ignore their foolish words
and continue laughing and living!

Why wait for anything
and hold your feeble breath wishing?
What would you be accomplishing?
Strip your reasoning of false concepts,
conquer what seems unconquerable...
earthly gods were carved out of marble
and their sculptor had certain flaws
not visible to the eye, but disputable.
You were made of flesh and bones,
you were given a brain for thinking
and hands for building amazing things.

The brutality of certain leaders of worldly power
may repulse you and change your perspective
of this human race so bizarre, confused, and insane;
you have the potential to decrease their fear:
why wait for anything to happen to them
and not let them carry the torch of wisdom?

I Want To Go Away

I want to go away
see it coming in the air
that is not a flight of peace
the sounds it bleeds
bleeds sorrows
we are in trouble again
another air steel is
about to lay another
egg of fire
what a fight
I never want to see
and now
I want to go away

oh see it coming in the air
oh see it coming in the air
the bird of war
another fight is set again
and now
I want to go away

I want to go away
see it coming in the air
the mark of destruction
is obvious in our cloud again
who is going to save us
from this calamities
cos we are not ready
for sorrows again
we don't want no steel bird
above our roof heads again
I wish we could stop that
cos now our home is on fire
so as in many places
the steel bird are still
laying the eggs of fire
and now
I want to go away

oh see it coming in the air
oh see it coming in the air
the bird of war
another fight is set again
and now
I want to go away

I want to go away
see it coming in the air
the steel birds from
the powers of darkness
they got nothing to offer
but brutality
it does not matter who dies
not even the innocent babies
yet they say they are saving
the poor
why are we running for safety
why must we be as a refugees
far from our homes
why must our homes be set on fire
this we can't ask now cos
the air is still polluted and messy
all for their false alarm
to gave us peace
yet war keep knocking
still revolution keeps on
and now
I want to go away

oh see it coming in the air
oh see it coming in the air
the bird of war
another fight is set again
and now
I want to go away

I  want to go away
I want to go away from trouble
I want to go away from brutality
I want to run to peace
any were it found
I want to be safe
from the powers of darkness
cos the world is full of many
I want to be in the land of justice
does it ever exist
I want a planet were nature
is natural
I just want to run away
away from the powers
forces that rule our world
to the deep of the deep of darkness
I wish God save me a place
of peace cos now
I want to go away

oh see it coming in the air
oh see it coming in the air
the bird of war
another fight is set again
and now
I want to go away
