SAFELINK TracFone unanimously synonymous...
not only as my lifeline,
and connectivity insurance
with family, friends and strangers,
whereby yours truly
experiences virtual safety net
as would be true
for many purple people eaters,
when havoc unexpectedly strikes
triggering an emergency situation,
where life and death
as very uncomfortable truth
teeters in the balance
necessitate immediate intervention,
hence survival
of one mediocre bipedal hominid
within twenty first century,
not only requires
allocated government funding
for unlimited talk and text,
to brook intervention
allowing, enabling, and providing help
while I channel urgent plea
via telephonic wireless portal
or surfing the cyber sea
if in need of an
up to date telephone number
until that one day in the near future,
when logical integrated circuits,
albeit miniscule or near invisible bots
to the naked eye,
said telecommunication trappings
ideally, easily, and admirably
embedded within body electric
batteries not necessary
when capacity to energize lovely bones
emulates, jump/kickstarts,
and powers an uninterrupted
self sustaining feedback loop
courtesy subcutaneous
nearly microscopic solar cells
(similar in principle
to intrauterine devices)
generates ample electricity
with resistance from subjects
to communicate wirelessly,
which means every waking
and sleeping movement
grudgingly monitored,
thus surreptitious antics
possibly flagged for:
accusation of plagiarization,
barbarization of mine mien,
cannibalization of pet peeves,
demonization of politicization,
elation of short lived beneficence,
fictionalization of embedded chip insertion,
glorification qua state of art communication,
humanization of artificial intelligence,
idolization of electronic engineering,
jollification of electrons
kation of covalent bond.

Those who acquaint themselves to that face,
and feel too ridiculed to embrace.
Learn its lessons, pass through and conquer,
hold sincerity by an golden anchor.
Progressive truth the water of life,
the natural sound and thought is virtues strive.
Captive love by choice the struggle towards peace,
unravel the knot of attachments and observe the cease.
Penetrate that spirit by all means,
then the almighty soul has inherited genes.
The body of love creates reciprocity,
providing mental wise health beneficence.
The mental cry of freedom leads to another captivity,
the path of true discipline leads to liberty.
The shadow of vice is evident but not existent,
the light of the truth the only consistent.
Genuine is the sincerity,
the noble heart and its charity.
To be wise by tolerance,
is the greatness of life’s endurance.
Along the Way, as we Press-on, there comes a time when we....
LET...
Gratitude's embers saturate entirely
as one is lifted high above…
the accumulated clamor of needs, wants,
desires...for things...that laden and dim
the beneficence of...
His Majesty
and
Perfection
IGNORE...
The vast concerns that sway our thoughts
dulling the senses of Him
and His ultimate fullness
...but enter into His overflowing harvest of...
sustenance and luxe
THERE ...
Where the unearthly beauty of adoring
doth glisten...cajoling...
the splendor of thankfulness and homage
that gush from one surrendered...
to bathe...in the Celestial Sea
of ...His Love's bestowing...
TARRY...
In the Wealth of…Him
seeing Him and Him alone
for all that He truly is...
The So Worthy Creator and Keeper of our Souls,
Who Provides Peaceful moments...such as this...
where we rest...upon His sweet bed of...Assurance
JESUS...
Like a bay leaf
full of dew...You...spread Yourself
before us and we fare...sumptuously...
on Your Excellence!
Yea! With amorous gaze of worship
our heart, mind, spirit and body agree...
surely, there can be no doubt...
THOU ART GOD!!!
Sky speaks through its enormity
Stars speak through their twinkle
Sun speaks through its rays
Earth speaks through its solidity
Oceans speak through their depth
Rivers speak through their flow
Clouds speak through the rain
Trees speak through their shadow
Stones speak through their strength
Breeze speaks through its comfort
Flowers speak through their beauty
Birds speak through their wings
Soldier speaks through his sword
Time speaks through eternity
Humans speak through their dignity
A stream of truth, righteousness, trust,
Love, compassion, beneficence, tolerance,
Forgiveness, sacrifice and harmony
Nature is never silent, it speaks but
Many do not listen
Only the blessed ones hear her song
It's mid-summer again with its mild and moist morning,
Soon whisked away by the mid-day sizzling breeze.
The gorgeous wildflower drinks of the sun's offering,
While butterflies sip of the lily blossom's wine on the lees.
Mid-summer is a time when love beads of rain cool the air;
The gentle beat of its falling seem a song of beneficence.
Then using the rainbow with his incomparable epic flair,
The Great Poet punctuates this grand verse with elegance.
As the birds are resting from their morning serenade,
They now allow the cricket its course at center stage.
The songbirds are cooling their throats in the shade,
Letting the hot sun with its prickling heat fiercely rage.
As the summer sun begins to appear as sweet red lips,
Like a dessert of refreshing sugared berries before me.
The evening breeze cools and my brow no longer drips,
As my eyes grow heavy and I dream of the new day to be.
Beauty humming in the pearly shell
Melody oozing from the silver bell
Charm and delight’s unending spell
A silent breeze flowing without yell
Adorned in long, black and silky hair
The song of passion, finesse and flair
Spreading splendour and glory in the air
Dream, delight and bliss turned bare
Majestic with a mellowed divergence
A Beauty with poise free from indulgence
An epitome displaying unique convergence
Of ability, acumen, insight and intelligence
Carved out of sunshine, dawn and dew
The cool aroma of tolerance and patience
Exuding trust, conviction and hope
Steering the life’s ship like a skilled crew
Out of her the affection and warmth flows
Love, compassion and beneficence glows
But being mindful of not coming too close
Her preserves and peripheries she knows
A pristine blend of purity and wisdom
An enduring asset of life’s rare dictum
Modernity wrapped in lasting custom
Living in her abode of divine Kingdom
Reverence heard, a compassionate sound of solemn word,
Resounds mercy of utmost goodwill, aura-divine spurred,
Performing deeds of beneficence, defying malevolence;
An epistle of angels on earth conferring gift of benevolence.
Such holy angels dwelling among us, are gems quite rare,
Purity of their actions proclaim~ how genuinely they care,
For the destitute, the hapless, caught in throes of despair,
Proffering words of prayer, pleading for hope and welfare.
Messengers of peace, hallowed in zeal of virtuous intention,
Supernal is their magnificence, never yearning attention,
Humble in service to others, dedicated to their missions,
Guiding through life’s hurdles, fulfilling human ambitions.
Inner harmony echoes from voice of their altruistic soul,
Righteous are such missives, sentiments endearing cajole,
Rejecting pessimism of fate in bold pursuit of virtuous goal,
Of kindness, of amity and love, teachings spiritual extol.
Featherless angels, mortals alike us, yet they live on and on,
Worshipped for their pious acts, long after they are gone,
For legacies of ideals devout, profound passions of heart,
For reassurance, inspiration of life, memories now impart.
Loves Brambles
Dare ye challenge love’s fine beneficence
its longing double edged sweep – parry, thrust
succumb to passion’s pure magnificence
ignore the warnings of self centered lust
Awaken to the pillows empty scent
wince at the searing cut of unfelt blade
recoil at softened thoughts of beauty spent
laid waste beneath the edge of lust’s dark spade
Hear ye the distant whimper of the lamb
bleeding amid the brambles of deceit
seduced by Satan’s brew of sip and dram
lust’s soul laid waste - victory as defeat
Harken all who would hoist lust’s bladed shaft
love’s joust is not a contest but a craft.

Wonderful to hear thanks so honest and sweet,
even and especially as simply worded;
for just listening to a friend, such an easy feat,
to be with gratitude so girded.
'Mention a person that made your 2017 better',
'funny how I thought of you when I saw this';
a text, the modern-day version of a letter,
saying "I appreciate you" - what great bliss.
Some of her current concerns I've also felt dearly,
some of them are sadly unknown, alien to me;
I can only hope that my advice helps, sincerely,
the architect of another's missteps, I never wish to be.
More than just she come to me for aid,
and I do my best with what I know, and would do;
yet until her words, a connection I hadn't made,
before some block her plain praise broke through.
The hardest times of my life, someone's taken my hand,
every time so many helped me find my way;
a nudge or a shove in the direction of dry land,
and mostly they've had one thing in common to say.
'You're one of the strongest people I know',
and I've ascribed that to them being kind.
Perhaps that's more than beneficence though,
and to the reason I've been blind.
I think it's due to so many in my life,
who have exchanged my pain for theirs;
sorrow for sorrow, strife for strife,
we trade places as the Atlas that bears.
So it's my turn to thank and appreciate her,
for revealing to me such was the case;
that most of the constancy I can muster,
is due in large part to companions' grace.

An American hero
that's all you have to be
An Italian restaurant ad in pink Miami
and the bright pleas of a broken black poet
Images juxtaposed
with her crooked shoes
in a bedroom corner left
forgotten
A mother dies
and nothing remains
the same
except us
her children

Notes:
[ I prepared this for court because a question was raised about my mother's will ]
My mother was born with the name Estackia N••••s in Puerto Rico.
My experience, as one of her 7 children, was the vantage afforded me of growing in the presence of a true American hero.
Without a husband or father in the home and without any other relatives to help, she single handedly lifted us out of dire poverty. she bought a house and afterwards, decided to finish her education. she had only completed the sixth grade, because she had to work to keep her own brothers and sisters from literal starvation.
She got a GED ( General Education Diploma) and afterwards, she began attending college, around the time that I was in high school, to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor, specializing in child psychology.
Eventually, we came to Florida, and she bought another house, and seeing a rather surprising increase in property values, she purchased and sold some lots. In the subsequent years, she purchased and sold many more homes, but continued to do all she could for each of her children; those things she thought would benefit them most.
My mother, Estackia N•••••s, also known as, Carmen C•••••••a, knew Exactly Who She Was in the world. That kind of character, and the motive that compels it, doesn't fail in the last instance in her will for her childrens' continued security and beneficence.
