Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
All that’s manifest, is but dust
Dead leaves falling, upon earth’s crust
Yet in-dwells in all, God essence
Enlivened by divine breath just
Child of God, glows in innocence
Heart bubbles forth effervescence
Earth life a school, where we awake
Rekindling soul’s luminescence
It matters not how long we’ll take
All will rise, none will He forsake
If only we choose to be still
Moonlight shines on a placid lake
We’re granted limited free will
Use it well and voids within fill
As bliss divine transforms our soul
Gently shaped upon the anvil
All together, swim as one shoal
Love pulse alone, makes us feel whole
Why for then, flounder in darkness
When God-connect is our life goal
Shift to interconnectedness
Recognising next, That oneness
To be as He, simply let go
All that is, is God-consciousness
Weary hermit, choose stillness slow
Make restless heart again mellow
We’re free here now, if we so choose
Behold soul’s luminous white glow

Reality
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Death will come to all of us
Bottled ashes or six feet underground
Thoughts are empty; we utter no sound
Here today, maybe gone tomorrow
Feeling lost, saddened with sorrow
The body forms at birth and, in the end, turns to dust
The death you see is a terminal must
From birth, we begin our aging path
Just how long will we live? Time moves fast
Do you ever think of death in a severe way
No one knows night or day
Can you imagine a time without you
The grim reaper comes regardless of who
Childhood friends are a growing list
Saddened by the names already missed
Death a disregarded thought in time
Buried deep inside your mind
Some leave early, while others late
The man above picks the date
Life is so short and quick to pass
Our time clock moves way too fast
Smile and love life and enjoy each day
Forgive and forget, hold anger at bay
Treat your friends with love and kindness
Time with them is far from timeless
Always keep this thought in mind
You'll never outlast the word called TIME.

"Earth to Earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, insure and certain hope of the Resurrection unto eternal life, through our Lord Jesus Christ"...

Ashes to Ashes Dust to Dust
Morning cast a dusty light in our room,
Streams of dust, dancing and pirouetting,
Brightening up the stark and dismal gloom;
Drifting specks in the air, unrelenting,
Shafts of whirling light, disorienting.
Hear the strains of music that we adored;
Shared memories that I seek and implore,
With candle light dinners on land and sea,
Savory delights with wine you would pour,
We both knew, I loved you and you loved me.

ASHES TO ASHES
If all of me sums up a to a pile of smoldered ash...
Then all of me could fit into a glass;
If that's all I amount to on this earth,
I pray my soul finds everlasting worth.
Who Jah bless let no man curse?
Ashes to ashes – dust to dust.
Afraid of the fiery lake, will God open up the gate?
Pray, I did not wait up too late.
to say forgive what I've done wrong.
…I can tell when the Almighty has my back.
I can tell when he intervenes …
Like today when I called the bank.
And no one ever called me back.
The statement stated, an overdraft.
Yet South Africa had a cyclone draft…
Media said 150 people died.
My friend Ann said…” that’s a lie”
More like 10000's lost their lives.
Frantically I called back the bank again,
To ask about the overdraft they sent.
Worried I had overspent;
To my surprise, they said: “there’s none”.
I said why did you send this notice? She said:
“the day it was sent money came in”
I said. “oh my God”: “You are still my friend”.
I asked no more questions I just said a prayer…
About God sending me money out of nowhere.
Trying hard to keep my nose clean… while here
I want to amount to more than just dust.
On this wretched earth
I don’t want to slack before I die,
Don’t want to be cast into the eternal fire…
Don’t want to worry about my spiritual deficit.
Paying my dues, while I am on earth…
I pray my soul finds favor in the afterlife where it counts-
More than mere dust do I want to amount…
As I sing my eternal dirge…
Continue to shine your light on my feet, I urge.
If all of me sums up a to a pile of smoldered ash...
Then all of me could fit into a glass;
If that's all I amount to on this earth
I pray my soul finds everlasting worth.
I'm stand'n, with legs split astride,
One foot on either side,
flip'n on the see-saw ride,
tilt'n from side to side.
Rock'n and Roll'n!
I'm in a juxtaposition
in between a flip 'n flop
You said you loved me!
Now you say, not!
Will you make up your ruddy mind.
I'm in such a bind!
The tides a' going out and coming in.
The sun's arising and setting.
I've given you love, and not got,
no love, back in return.
I'm all stained black and blue.
I wanna be red and yellow,
on the flip'n arc of the rainbow.
I'm sick of the way
the coin always flips,
between agony and bliss,
between I'm happy and I'm sad!
There's a gotta be a better way,
to rock'n on this see-saw grind.
I wanna be heads up, all the time!
I'm stand'n, with legs split astride,
One foot on either side,
flip'n on the see-saw ride,
tilt'n from side to side.
Rock'n and Roll'n!
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
The clock says it's one o'clock.
But its fast, it's on the future,
on the just passed it time.
There's no going back, this time,
On some voodoo time-machine grind,
Get me off 'a this playground ride!
Flip'n in a juxtaposition!
Flip'n in a juxtaposition!
How often does a Supernova happen
Start your clock, STOP NOW
It's happening NOW
In the hearts of us
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
It happening to us.
What is the Supernova
Explosion that takes place
In all faces of life
Through The One who make the sacrifice
Christ the answer to the Super is He
Nova is New for you and me.
In the beginning God created
the heavens and the earth
And all the earth was formless
And void, And darkness was on
The face of the earth
And God said, "Light BE!"
And was and Light will always be
The seeds, trees, bee, set for you and me
The Supernova is at work and give us the key.
Although, gravity is strong
But God is stronger
no longer do we have to stray away from that tree
He have set us FREE
We have the eternal key
Indeed, indeed He did it for you and me.
The moon we are
To influence others
To bring back to His kingdom
Let freedom ring
In our hearts, set us apart
Worthy is the key
that set us free
The Super is the Core
The Nova is the New
Explosion to change things
With the Might of God Son
"THE SUPERNOVA" of life.
"ride the rainbow, crack the sky, Stormbringer coming, time to die", from Stormbringer, sung by Glenn Hughes
Forget your worries, forget your sorrow.
To Stormbringer, you're a dead ringer
For someone who won't be here tomorrow.
He's coming for you, and he's coming for me.
He's kind of like the grim reaper,
But he wields a mean sword - that's Stormy.
Each one has his time, ours will be comin' soon.
Praying on your knees won't help you.
Bay like a dog to the moon.
It's ashes to ashes, dust to dust, buddy.
If I were you (I'm just sayin'),
I'd throw myself in the big muddy.
He is coming as CO2 and methane.
He's got plenty to go around -
Bringing misery, bringing pain.
You better think about pulling out all the stops.
You oughter, before there's no water -
Shoulda planted drought resistant crops.
I'm pretty sure, we'll all be hunting for scraps.
All the pretty ice sure built up nice,
But the Greenland ice sheet will collapse.
You like anemones, sponges and starfish?
Sit and sigh, as the coral reefs die,
Maybe, upon a star you can wish.
Recall that rainforest in the Amazon?
Stormbringer, for profit, will wring 'er.
Look out your window, and she'll be gone.
The Gulf Stream collapse, too, will be coming soon.
"Well, there goes civilization",
Shouts Stormbringer from his weather balloon.
Ol' Stormbringer's bringing us a living hell.
Mother earth will enjoy a rebirth,
But will mankind do quite as well?

Why are you all bound and determined to destroy me?
What have I done to you that makes you hate me so much?
I’ve given you life and provided for you families.
You’ve done nothing in return but ruin what you’ve touched.
Timber – and my limbs fall, leaves will wither.
Paper bags & adult mags, end result is litter.
Trash & filthy waste, landfill in my face.
Trees, an endangered species you can never replace.
Forever you’re chasing wildlife for game, not need.
Carcasses scattered abroad, they get shot & bleed.
Prodigal sons, generation of wasteful people.
Ungrateful & insecure, you alter your facial features.
I don’t feel the least bit guilty for causing earthquakes,
Or, from the mountaintops, raining down fire and ash.
I watch with a grin as you all try to claim your stake
And find a safe place where you hope to avoid my wrath.
Tsunamis that misplace mommies, families divide.
Airborne sicknesses and death hide in mudslides.
The pains of hurricanes, reminiscent of Genesis
Wipeout the lifestyles of the wicked & innocent.
Just as man is never satisfied, destruction isn’t either.
These disasters consume life to make you believers
In that you reap what you sow in this life of lust.
Return from whence you came, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
Eleanor Rigby and Father McKenzie
Oh, so lonely -- Where do such people come from
They come from all walks of life, from the priesthood
on down to the hangers-on at village churches
And where do they all belong? -- In a desiccated church
where Father McKenzie preaches sermons that no one hears
and Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice thrown at others' weddings,
surely lamenting her own lonely, dreamlike existence...
They belong together, but Church doctrine, frustratingly, keeps them apart
this lonely woman with the happy face, concealing the ache deep inside
and the devoted priest, so determined to look ministerial, to deliver a sermon
for no audience, that no one will hear, that will save no one...
So many lonely people in society today, like Eleanor Rigby
people who come from nowhere, whose contributions go unrecognized
and who return to nowhere, buried along with their names --
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust...
