Stormbringer
"ride the rainbow, crack the sky, Stormbringer coming, time to die", from Stormbringer, sung by Glenn Hughes Forget your worries, forget your sorrow. To Stormbringer, you're a dead ringer For someone who won't be here tomorrow. He's coming for you, and he's coming for me. He's kind of like the grim reaper, But he wields a mean sword - that's Stormy. Each one has his time, ours will be comin' soon. Praying on your knees won't help you. Bay like a dog to the moon. It's ashes to ashes, dust to dust, buddy. If I were you (I'm just sayin'), I'd throw myself in the big muddy.   He is coming as CO2 and methane. He's got plenty to go around - Bringing misery, bringing pain. You better think about pulling out all the stops. You oughter, before there's no water - Shoulda planted drought resistant crops.   I'm pretty sure, we'll all be hunting for scraps.  All the pretty ice sure built up nice, But the Greenland ice sheet will collapse.    You like anemones, sponges and starfish? Sit and sigh, as the coral reefs die, Maybe, upon a star you can wish.    Recall that rainforest in the Amazon? Stormbringer, for profit, will wring 'er. Look out your window, and she'll be gone. The Gulf Stream collapse, too, will be coming soon. "Well, there goes civilization", Shouts Stormbringer from his weather balloon. Ol' Stormbringer's bringing us a living hell. Mother earth will enjoy a rebirth, But will mankind do quite as well?
