That familar brown-eyed boy
climbed the cliff the balmy hill
with his reversed red cap
and if it slipped off,
he'd pull it down his fair
strends of curly hair
while he listened carefully
to the cardinals's notes...
to memorize them in a melody
that he heard through the air!
That familiar brown-eyed boy,
passed by my open window
each afternoon after school
with his heavy pack-back,kind of small,
making him sweat and stoop;
he smiled and waved his hand at me...
his name was Andre, the gentle kid,
and he came from a modest family!
That familiar browned-eyed boy
whistled when spring came,
shouted with thrill
when the first snow fell
and ran outside of the warm house
to build another smiling snow-man!
Did you ever wonder at all,
what made him so happy?
Whether it was: a bird's song at sun-rise
or an unusual,humorous game...
whatever it was, he had never told
his secret to anyone!
That familiar brown-eyed boy,
came down from the shady hill
when the tower's clock stroke six;
on his way home,he looked at red sky...
amazed by what his eyes had seen,
and tell his mom what a great noon it had been!
Dear Pastor
I now recall what I attempted to say to you on yesterday but forgot. Being that you just turned 55, and by your own admission, do not qualify for the Seniors Group at our church, you probably do not understand 'forgetfulness'. Anyway, it was when Jacob was speaking on the video birthday clip, and also when Pastor Andre was preaching yesterday that I said to myself that I must share with Pastor Mark what I said to myself. **************************************************************Of Jacob, I said to myself and to him after the service: Over the last 3 to 5 years, would to God that more young men had commited and submitted themselves to the tutoring of Pastor Mark as you have so humbly done. ************************************************************** Pastor Mark, I am confident that Jacob will go places of God's bidding and do things to God's Glory because he has sat under and submitted himself to be fitted for the Master's use with a strong foundation.
************************************************************** Of Pastor Andre I said to myself: What a treasure we have in a worship leader who also is very capable at ministering the word of the Lord. I further thought, what a gold mine of wisdom and insight that God has granted you to surround yourself with such treasures in earthen vessels.
Pastor, I must say that 26 years at New Life under your pastorate is the longest stay that I have spent anywhere in my entire life, and I do not wonder why as I close with these watery eyes.

We Become The Mask We Wear
Written: by Miracle Man
August 28, 2021
We postpone serious matters until another day,
then at some future sunrise we resume our fray.
With each new day we face a daunting task,
and things won’t improve without changing our mask.
We’re the mask we wear on any given day,
and often this mask our true feelings will betray.
Finally we’ve lost all sense of just who we are,
and have taken on the mannerisms of some czar.
We proclaim we’ve tried but without visible trace,
we can’t move outward from another’s space.
When the fire that’s out, and cause misunderstood,
we’re wasting matches trying to rekindle wet wood.
“We all wear a mask,
and the time comes when we cannot remove them
without removing some of our own skin.”
Andre Berthiaume
I haven't written anything for a while
I really need a blues-rocker for an ep I have planned.
The music is pretty much already there with it being blues/rock.
Written while nervously hungover. I suppose it comes from a dark place... Enjoy.
Nietzsche helped me out with those last two lines, which are, of course, reoccurring.
Feedback appreciated.

Every Word Is A Mask
I cannot part the sea, or even turn the tides
I know you will not listen to me with my history of lies
let the valleys hold my tears
should the mountain prick my eyes
I think it should be said, we could have stolen more
modesty was never validated, not now n' ne'er before
avarice, tried and tested
tartuffery has no allure
should Miss Andre get married?
we should have taken more
opinions are hideouts, ev'ry word is a mask
'does not belong to me, I disown it, insist n' I will retract
take back the love that was lent
salvation is under attack
opinions are hideouts and
every word is a mask

Rightly.
I notice him as he went through the
song list. He wanted someone to
perform "One Woman Man". Now
knowing what we do about this type of
music we knew it would be a troublesome bunch.
Getting it right and real. Most of these people
would rather hear' Whore Pour Rannuna"
sounds strange but Sweekey Loves Meaty
and Meaty don't jive like that.
You are
I speak such about you
on Your Behalf
And Jealous Lover
are some favorites
they are quite costly meaning
it takes an orchratra to perform
only two of these sound right with a band.
Every thing we do has insisipation
and
Needing it in the Night
can have band performances
with some badass background singers
"Je veux chanter celle-ci.
and the controvesa
'"Dos Juxes is sloppy"

for a group of magizine to

..Nobody in that neighborhood
knew what happened to those three,
but they all scoffed in disgust
when Neal staggered high down the street.
He had been in and out for drugs
two times in the last three years,
so when he fell again to them
nobody was shedding any tears.
Then the trench-coat man appeared,
two bloodless holes in his hands,
there was Holy Fire in his eyes
as he looked down at the stoned man,
He glanced to the disgruntled crowd,
“Did you think I was something malign?
All need, at time, My forgiveness,
do not fear, this one is Mine.”
At that three people left a car
and walked over to where Neal lay,
Andre was ten whole months sober,
at a charity earned his pay.
Luisa wore a nun’s habit,
and raised orphans as her own.
Karzel now worked in an auto shop,
doing bills and answering phones.
They helped Neal up to his feet,
said,”We known where you can get help.
Nothing ahead will be easy,
but we all think you can get well.”
As they drove off the crowd looked back,
but no trench-coat man could they find,
half wondered if he’d ever been there,
half thought he had been the whole time.
It would not be such a stretch
To think that every kid
Drew pictures on an Etch-A-Sketch,
Like all my peers once did.
It was a toy that everyone
Possessed in his collection,
For it provided hours of fun
With no need for perfection.
‘Cause if you goofed, with just one shake
The screen went back to blank,
With not a trace of your mistake;
So someone we must thank:
His name was Andre; he was French,
A factory technician.
While using powders and a wrench,
He had an intuition.
He noticed particles that stuck,
By means of static charge,
To decals – what a stroke of luck!
His future was writ large.
It took some years to make the toy
And show it at a fair.
It was a hit and oh, what joy
For children everywhere.
Now Andre Cassagnes is dead
But we owe him our praise,
For Etch-A-Sketch remains a thread
Attached to childhood days.
Before I die or kick the bucket.
First I must thank the Great God Almighty.

THEY MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH CHELSEA
Color blue...
Dan Petrescu...
Capi Dennis Wise,
UEFA the biggest price,
Celestine Babayaro,
Still remember him like tomorrow.
Zola definitely lure me
As honey attracts the bee.
Y'all remember Tore Andre Flo?
Our football was a masterful flow...
Then comes a flash from flanks,
Robben does the wing robbery with silky pranks,
The Duffer those it from the left flank,
Damien Duff dust-off defenders off the rank.
Witness the power of thunderbolt Hasselbaink:
Jimmy the Floyd playing the dummy
then ball rolls out like a mummy,
Straight to Bolo Zenden for a cut back
through the acute angel of the pitch arc
to the rocketed-feets of Lampard into the net.
Now, watch the replay; the spectacule is set.
Never underestimate the blue army clan,
These heroes & more made me a lifelong fan.
