See beyond mere touch
Deep paradox as such

Feel a stillness deep
That anchors tears you weep

Think a deeper feel
That channels yet more thrills

Come to know a truth
That crystals poise with proof

Look beyond strange sight
That poignant cast of light

Sense deep soul fling art
That captures your own heart

Beyond your senses five
That sparkling insight live

Feel even in pain
That pleasure not in vain

Fest with fragrant jest
Indulge that lovely zest

Be in being brave
As cheery laughter saves

Love's pure paradox
Exploits beyond the box

God’s grace of wisdom brace anchors my wondrous life
propped by His might and truth’s light for eternal goal
smiting doubt of lurking route along servant role
blessing heart to show caring part against hate strife.

Blissful pleasure midst worthy leisure marks good rest
as soul of mine seeks divine writ for assured hope
midst fatigue and worldly intrigue wherewith to cope
in Christ’s love from above gripping fellowship zest.

Despite strain and labour pain of struggling faith soar
I do aim to lift Saviour’s name by His strong hand
guarding sin-stress from guilt-distress, trust should withstand
while peace-cheers vanquishing fears toward sharing pour.

Precious gift grant through prayer-lift brings supply flow
for nourished growth with flourished stewardship indeed
as I abide* in the Lord’s side, letting Him lead
to build me up for a fulfilled legacy glow.

*1Corinthians 7:24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

In your stern face
Poise mellows grace
In a good place

Know beyond space
A certain grace
Sets time in place

In your calm cheer
Love now draws near
In focus clear

Feel how you feel
To know goodwill
That now reveals

In your fond state
Breeze through these gates
To meet due fate

See what you see
That joy may be
True worth set free

In your kind eyes
Such lavish sighs
Caress each high

Think upon hope
That sculpts grand scope
As touch now copes

In your wise wit
Meet each calm hit
That anchors fit

Touch tells of ease
In spacious peace
As light pays lease

In your good times
Embrace each chime
Sketch words that rhyme

Premium Member FAITH IN GOD WHO INSTRUCTS US TO ENQUIRE FROM HIS WORD

May 15 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on 2Chronicles 18-20

Key Verse – 2Chronicles 18:4 And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.

FAITH IN GOD WHO INSTRUCTS US
TO ENQUIRE FROM HIS WORD

God instructs us to enquire from His Word for our faith’s strengthening
As He counsels us with His wisdom-ascertaining
Since His truth stretches out toward our straightening
That we can be victorious under His reigning.

God instructs us to enquire from His Word for our faith’s upholding
As He reproves us against doubt of destructive pretending
Since His Word teaches us toward sincere bending
That we can be delighted by His heritage-guarding.
God instructs us to enquire from His Word for our faith’s satisfying
As He rebukes us against arrogance so self-relying
Since His blessings enrich us amidst dearth-drying
That we can be guided by His hand-carrying.

God instructs us to enquire from His Word for our faith’s perfecting
As He breaks us from pride toward humility-setting
Since His grace us grants us life everlasting
That we can be secured of heaven so uplifting.

God instructs us to enquire from His Word for our faith’s preserving
As He sanctifies us by His forgiveness, divinely loving
Since His mercy with His righteousness anchors our daily living
That we can be guarded as to Him we keep on cleaving.

God instructs us to enquire from His Word for our faith’s propelling
As He drives us toward soulwinning with compassionate pulling
Since His command pushes us along service-calling
That we can be fruitful in discipleship’s fueling.

God instructs us to enquire from His Word for our faith’s enforcing
As He comforts us against troubles that are depressing
Since His goodness prevails with His assurance-voicing
That we can be revived while we do what to Him is pleasing.

By this old street,
Once more we meet;
We learn to greet
Just where we meet.

Old guest house here,
Mellows fond cheer;
All seems so clear,
So purge all fear.

Face good or bad,
Know all things mad;
Happy or glad,
But don't be sad.

We come and go,
Time streams all shows;
Reap fast or slow,
Love all you know.

Each to his own,
The tale is sown;
Good times get blown,
Known and unknown.

Now glimpse fond sight,
Seek that sure light;
Live warm and bright,
Love puts things right.

Seek the sure way,
Live happy play;
Cheer anchors say,
Brave well each day.

From first to last,
Each face is cast;
Do have a blast,
What's past is past.

Love without fear,
Touch each face dear;
Live joy and cheer,
Trace happy here.

Beyond the space,
Good and bad trace;
Walk field of grace,
Love prompts each face.

So many tribes,
So many gripes;
No need for bribes,
Love mellows ripe.

So come dear friend,
Let's live love grand;
Go beyond trends,
Love never ends.

Premium Member Love Alone Is Real

Love alone is real, so let’s rest thought
Then poised in the void, our soul’s free from stain
Vaporised self, no longer by fear fraught
Equal to us then are both sun and rain
Erst fears and desires, all to rest are lain
Purity of intent assures ascent
Rising far above earthy loss and gain
Our tranquil heart thus joyous and content

Ego anchors us in a narrow slot
Cause of suffering, again and again
Stagnation therein becomes our soul’s blot
High time we end this cause and effect chain
For free will, once thought as boon, clearly bane
Trusting in God, let us cease to lament
In silence and stillness, bliss hues ingrain
Our tranquil heart thus joyous and content

Our wayward consciousness, love path forgot
Conscience yet counsels us righteousness sane
Heeding it’s soft voice we become self-taught
Head-heart melded, we be humble, not vain
Look not upon fellow souls with disdain
Reclaim here now, soul self-luminescent
Jettisoning lower mind down the drain
Our tranquil heart thus joyous and content

All is enabled; there’s no need to strain
Bliss magnetism explodes, effervescent
Love ignites within form, our central vein
Our tranquil heart thus joyous and content

Strange, yet a reality none the less:
the oppressed destroying themselves
for the sake of the oppressor.

The battle of creatures of the sea
has now become that of the humanity
of the conquered land. A bizarre misguided
catharsis born out of guided mind bending
of victims killing selves for the sake
of molded daily bread of the oppressor.

The dehumanizing of common human bond
etched into souls by Middle Passage bondage
and stitched into long landed psyche, has
yet to be extricated from psychological slave mentality.
Its debasing scraping—like the depths of the sea—continues
to run deep and wide as the long ago Passage.

The sea that spat upon the shores of a strange land,
swallowed the anchors of satanic ships laden
with remnants of the booty of their sooty cargo;
a sooty cargo whose songs made no sense in a strange land.

Shackles may be broken and fall clanging from their physical
grasping; but minds may remain invisibly chained—unaware.
In nature, the causes of demise often remain unseen—veiled.
And liberation becomes a misconceived deception; seasoned
by the salt of the sea—rather than burning with freedom’s fire!

America, a deception in disguise, has revealed herself in reality;
but like Iago’s ego, the true self remains among the unknown.
Yet she rings the bell of justice till it cracks—stilling its silent tongue;
and in veiled blindness hang scales to seek their own balance.

They stripped the heaven-ward pole of its clothing;
but the colors remain in altered stripes and stars—
flushing a noose-like wave in smoke filled skies reeking
with the murderous smell of spiraling gun powder residue
lingering in air as they echo purity while simultaneously
orating mass hued skin perdition.

Though we are of the same seed of our brother, Othello,
we shall not let this adopted land ‘…roast in sulphur…’
nor be washed ‘…in steep-down gulfs of liquid fire.’
Nay. We are of the soul of the phoenix—
rising black doves roosting—plucking feathers of injustice
from the bleeding breast of a forgiven nation.

A Wake Upon Time’s Surface

A distant breeze beckons, tugs at passion’s anchors, a soft mist obscures the future. I sit idly, rocked by the rippling of time’s passing, soothed by the wind whispering its secrets to dancing leaves, becalmed in an eddy of circular beauty. I watch as a cautious doe shields her fawn, a swan leads me away from his nesting mate, turtles seeking sun climb fallen trees. I feel the shadow of the circling Osprey’s chill. A turtle’s head slowly withdraws, the bullfrogs go silent, the beaver slaps a warning,my paddle stirs the moment, a wake upon time’s surface.
