Premium Memberharbor snow

I watch the harbor through the falling snow
the sky and sea form one vast, gray tableau
the sun is nothing but a weak, background glow
the scene draws me, as if hypnotically.

Five mile’s lighthouse warnings go unvoiced
its strobes not lashing out, so what’s its point
it stands majestically but disappoints
replaced electronically

A tiny lobster boat makes its landward way
towards the inlet from the wider channel bay
a powdery blizzard is underway
which melts into the mirror sea.

Ospreys still hunt round the lobsterman's pride
snowflakes stain them as they soar and glide
other seabirds huddle side by side
shivering and crowing lividly.

Through the narrows the lonely boat steams
past icy Luddington Rock and East Breakwater's breech
its berths and moorings, within minutes reach
and sadly, it’s time for me to leave.

Placated By Stupidity

Sold by your own compulsion, full on disgust rot & rust you've given into another indulgence.
The waste of day into another loss of light, inside the ever eluding conscience, empty as black as the night.
No trace of the bounty with none in nothingness, a face diluted & drowning. Obsession straight inside your mindlessness.
Like wax's continuous drip.
Skin melted in this mind, a fact that keeps the contortions broken inside.
The never ending shifting water...
The ever changing wind, reflections look like slaughter.
Watch your thoughts twist then bend, never knowing where to begin nor where to end.
Like that of the forever hath, acknowledge what's true, reality read in epitaph.
Should've taken hold,
learning from young to old.
Material fortune easily lost, a fu*ktard is simple, no will or character to emboss.
If thoughtlessness was piss, then your surely drinking this!
Nothing descends.
Nothing gained.
Nothing missed.
Placated by stupidity.
Dilapidated in lividly.

Defiance

Defiance

Chained, detained like a primitive animal caged, enraged.
Jabbed, stabbed with finely sharpened venomous barbs, scarred.
Bled, fed nothing but hatred seasoned with dull puns, shunned.
Blackened, beaten as ear-piercing cacophonous screams teem.
Laughing, spitting blood; my spirit is lividly awoken, unbroken.
Distressed, testing the restraints I vigorously fight, trite.
Biting, clinching my jaw refusing to easily yield, repealed.
Whipped, stripped of hope the demon I awoke, provoke.
Unstable, ample the blain searing my wrist, resist.
Dismay may bear its teeth but I will not stray away.
Smile, while it wraps it claws around my throat, choke.
Bounding, seeping my breath as I refuse to bend, rend.
Gore poured will be avenged soon, relieving me of gloom's, loom.
