...He brother railed at her when they were wed,
‘Uncle Tom, race traitor!”such words were said,
‘Raised by a white man, you’ll mess up your son!”
She just rolled her eyes, and said, “Are you done?”
She had no more time for her brother’s hate,
it impeded with a life that was great,
Keenan had a new dad, and soon sisters three,
no more self-destruction, no more misery.

Common nature born in we share
our teeth become the spear
we all put her in that chair
He never left, for she was considered like Job
All our sins we sing
like carnal lies, only sorrow
can ignorance bring

He compared her to a north bound twister.
Leveling most everything in her path
On waking hours he rarely missed her
While she was studying courses on math
She was always tanning her skin to bronze
Her path was chaotic on her calling
Of wishes on coins tossed into ponds
She’d make bets on stars that would be falling
When it was time to shine she was a jaguar
Always fighting against the ruthless shade
Living in the moment as a live-wire
Olympiad she was finally made
He adored her with all his tender heart
So now he knew that they would never part
