North Bound Twister

He compared her to a north bound twister. Leveling most everything in her path On waking hours he rarely missed her While she was studying courses on math She was always tanning her skin to bronze Her path was chaotic on her calling Of wishes on coins tossed into ponds She’d make bets on stars that would be falling When it was time to shine she was a jaguar Always fighting against the ruthless shade Living in the moment as a live-wire Olympiad she was finally made He adored her with all his tender heart So now he knew that they would never part by Paul Keenan 06/15/2011 Sonnets, Sonnets, everywhere!
