God Our Talents Is Aggrandizing

On my pillow that did billow was lying;
Tears poured and we had been crying,
About the wounded  and those dying;
To win war how hard they are trying;
Effort did appear to be death defying;
What is done the people were denying;
More sins to us devil started supplying,
And now up again tears we are drying;
God our talents He now is aggrandizing.

A Lost Generation

This madness This madness
This curse
The plague of digital fame
The first to post
The next big thang
Violence as recreation
The demise of education
The end of creation
The last breath taken
Joy in death
The crowd roars
Joy in self promotion
A life left to lores
To all who have fallen
At the hands of complicity
To youth not realized
To a light for every corner
Here's my heart, my tears
All for you Amy Joyner

Welcome Back Li'L Brother

Welcome Back Li’L Brother
Written by: D. Collins 8/5/15

Welcome back Li’L Brother we’re glad to see you
That green-eyed monster that’ll bring D.C. anew.
Word on the street is you’re coming Ill-Na-Na.
And the old school brothas are down like it’s the law.

Welcome back Li’L Brother, we have surely missed you.
Tom Joyner in the morning is not what I like listening to.
Donnie knows about Cameo and a little Keith Sweat.
Instead of talk radio, he gets the women’s panties wet.

I’ve been tryin’ to told ‘em, Donnie ain’t no joke.
He is the answer for those who just don’t know.
Welcome back to the city you once set ablaze.
Any MC out there, make them your slave.

Welcome back Li’L Brother to the word on the street.
We’ll give you a pass because you are just like me.
Born and bread to that in which you cannot escape.
Giving life to the airwaves in abstract form and shape.

Why

WHY

Why do people look different, why cant we all look the
Same,
Why can’t the sun shine all the time, why dose it have
To rain.
Why do people judge other people, why can’t they just?
Leave it alone.
Why do people have to grow to be old, why can’t we all
Just stay young.
Why dose a rich man have money, why dose a poor man
Work all the time.
Why dose a good person have to die, why the are the
Bad ones left behind,
Why is there killing and stealing, why can’t People
Control their lives.
Why can’t people be happy, why are they fill with anger
And strife.
On day we all die and God will wipe away every tear
From our eyes.
And then God will take us by our hand and say my
Child this is why.

God's Love For You

God's love for you will never die, nor will it never fad away,
              God's love for you gets stronger with in each minute of every day.

              God's love for you is more precious than any diamonds or any gold,
             God's love for you will always stay new and will never grow to be old.

    God's love for are like the Heavens and the earth that His hands divided apart.
        God's love for you will be for an entirety and will always remain in His heart.

How Sweet It Is

I woke up one morning and heard the Lord calling,
                       calling for me,for me to come home.

              For they in a distance I saw my Lord Jesus, with nail
                       scared hands and a robe white as snow.

              How sweet it must be up there in Heaven, were all our
                            friends and love ones have gone.

                    No tears,no fears,no pain or no sorrows,
                           How sweet it is to be going home.

Often

Often we wonder in the darkness of the night , like a blind person whose unable
                                                             to see,
Often we pray for the bad things in our lifes and not for the good things that we
                                                             need.
Often we are not willing to help one another especially,is some one is in a great
                                                         deal of pain,

Often we don't take time to watch the sun set or listen to the falling rain.

Often we rush through life like a raging wind hurting every one in our paths,

Often we speak of honestly but the truth doesn't come from our mouths.

Often we wonder how long will we live will we die young or live to be old,

Often the things we think about some times are best to be left alone.
