Today, would never be elected!
He'd be run out of rooms.
How dare he ask us:
"Ask not what your country can
do for you, ask what you can
do for your country."

I remember being so moved by
that statement.
But our country has taken a new
direction.
And we scratch our heads, oh really?
Asking why there is so much dereliction?

Re-think JFK's question.
Stop listening to the pinheaded
supplications for renumirations.
And demands to fulfill all our
supplications.

When did we become such cry
babies and rabble rousers?
We need to stop wearing diapers
and find our trousers.
Become adults, not crabby
frowners.

KENNEDY

                            There was a man
                            So strong a man
A man so brave and free
                            A famous man , A courageous man
                            A man named "KENNEDY."

This important man, this kind man
A man SO GENEROUS AND BOLD
We will never see any man like HE
                           This man named "KENNEDY."

I wrote this poem because "THE KENNEDY FAMILY" AND "THE WHOLE WORLD" have suffered a great loss and I think "PRESIDENT JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY" was the worlds greatest "PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."

*Written November 22, 1963 on the day of President John F. Kennedy's assassination! (Age 12) First poem I'd ever written.*

Here Today Gone Tomorrow a Tribute To President John Fitzgerald Kennedy

And there for one brief moment
Was our light
Shining strong
And shining bright
Bringing us new signs of hope
With courage
And the gift to cope
He left us when he's needed most
Returning to the Blessed Host
With caring grace
And love of man
This leader came
Did all he can
All must remember what he gave
His dreams for us
Are what we save

Bobby and Me

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, some say withstood the temptation as pressures
To enter more troops further, into Vietnam ? Soon thereafter, he was gone...
An imperfect man born a silver spoon his hand; at least, unto the material mind
Holding merely a glimpse of he, and Poe's raven ? Her beautiful young lady a tattoo
Be this star upon her cheek reflecting somehow, an age as child's heart ? Headlines
These righteous chasing their homeless all about his editor in chief proclaiming
The good news ? President Obama, considering another air strike for someone
Crossed neverendings painted lines while Miley smiles aneath two golden horns
She finds divine bless her precious life and do two wrongs, equate to that of right ?
Bobby grinning from ear to ear like his cat whom swallowed her canary; albeit cardinal
Red this little bunny so furry his tiny tail ? Due for another banks bailout, one can feel it..
Amid time's wind and whom shall win their next contract to build ? These flocks as bombs.
