There's a Fly In My Poetry Soup

...Have another free joke:
One that isn't good enough
For my personal collection...

Q: "How many Polacks does it take to tie my shoes?

A: "What! Jingoist Scum!"

My grandmother was Polish
And I find this joke to be highly tasteless
-  And let's be honest:
I'd rather have someone like you tie my shoes!
This is why
I'm offering to you,
the job;
Rather,
The honor to tie my shoes...
...I pay primarily in warm milk duds,
which I've kept tucked away in my pants pockets
Ever since the day,
I first found out!
That I do in fact
Have pockets:
You should check;
Because it may be true
That even someone like you
Has got a few pockets too...
So, any takers?
