Waves eroded the stones
on the shore line where
for ages the days and nights
had been subject
to the tides of the sea.
Such habits of the sea
the high tides
and low tides
make the hungry visiters
here caustious
they gather here in morning
to harvest the crustains
for breakfast
somemussels, periwinkles, limpets,
and oysters, naturally live and cling
to shoreline rocks in intertidal zonede
puration or purging

Life has made me travel over the isthmus
I stand on the peninsula of existence,
An interstitial wandering through a life,
Dominated by intertidal forces of fate,
That overwhelm me,
Here on this narrow strip of life...
No longer in control of my destiny
Intuition my last strength...
So I move before the disaster comes...
I wonder of life...
On the mainland...
Where protective mighty mountains,
And crowded cities looming...
Offering endless options to all
Not just wandering a lonely beach...
As I do every day...
Peninsula...
Isolation...
Endless doubt....
Words with no one to hear them...
With eyes unaccustomed to the human form...
Just the waves, the gulls, the distant ships...
The world so mysterious...
I could be on another planet...
Peninsula of despair...
Peninsula of loneliness...
Peninsula of unexplored passion...
The moon is made for two,
Not but me alone...
Peninsula,
Peninsula of pain.
