Why you taking all that energy and time
Being ungrateful pouty wasting all of your life
You hourly daily time disgusting unredeemable on making up lost time
Complaining sustaining in your sorrow in your brief lapses of unbelief
Miss spoken unspoken silently and loud you're disbelief
A wise man once said you may kill time but one day time's going to kill you
Revelations part sometimes hard but yet so true
Lord I ma stop mine confession find the right now confessing I'm praising I am in worship with you in my mind in my heart continually so second by second by minute by minute by hour by hour audibly and intangibly in my mind now that I praise you been made free, in Jesus Name always
Amen

when wind blows a gale
leaves pushed pulled tempest tossed
I see life fleetingly aloft and
gone in gasp and gust
when clocks chime and chip away at time
inevitable and intangibly present
it’s the fool’s errand to be angry at an hour
when cars zip like bullets
when plugs crackle into life
when scissors snap too close to skin
when fragile chick plummets from nest
death darts ahead of life
a promiscuous predator circling
circling even as you say you’re leaving

Startled by the hallucination
of himself upon the wall
The man of a compromised conscience
cringes with apprehensive velocity
Debilitating panic emerges
with a disconcerting air of predictability
Transporting him, intangibly, to a setting that prohibits
his own narration
Forcing him to endure his biography
without any preferred revisions

and again it stabs, a flickering flash
like Macbeth’s floating dagger:
invisible, hallucination, a silent pain.
Like a nettle, a rose’s thorn,
it twists and curdles into rotten barbed wire.
It rests in your pockets
sits in your palm,
it vibrates on our tables
and jolts us from an already fitful sleep.
Influencing ones and zeros
flood over bodies and seep into conversations,
ooze across self-worth and cover mirrors -
slow and unnoticed, impaling a society turned statue
by an intangibly weighted media.

Invisible Footprint
My words reverberate,
I must pause before I say.
They have impact and meaning,
they crystalize in shape.
People act on those words,
behaving a certain way.
Powerful and challenging,
they ripple like the waves.
I reach out to touch,
making senses come to life.
Hands are actually organ grinders,
a multitude of tasks they perform.
The world’s greatest movies,
as many an actor is born.
Our deeds are always noticed,
intangibly they entwine.
One random act another moulds,
in life cannot be denied.
We all take the same path,
leading from cradle to grave.
Those impressions left behind,
as an invisible footprint is made.

ELEMENTS OF SURPRISE
water coloured skies at dusk
sunrise dips in golden hues
birds echo jaded shifting leaves
trees softly twitter whirling
winds
pristine views of mountain streams
unsoiled rock with rising splendour
creatures call diminutively
while people roar
unceasingly
radical dreams of life supreme
fade unseen in violent screams
charcoal stars fall from the dark
maudlin moons cloud clear
perceptions
canvases will paint
where souls meet
in passing worlds
randomly
revelations astound
tainted tribulations
intangibly
disguised
as

SURPRISE

Desolate sea
between steel sky and dusky shore.
A sinister mist creeps in,
adds to the grey gloom.
Flat calm.
Stillness.
Complete silence.
A seabird cries.
Shingle-rippling wavelets, bubble and make reply.
The gull continues his mournful song
evoking sea-lost souls.
Waves,
now churning time-worn pebbles,
advance,
inexorably –
a soulful seascape in shades of grey.
Others take up the seabird’s reveille.
Ghostly forms
float intangibly
on the morning mist.
Golden light, gathers on the horizon –
slow, diffuse at first, later, laser-like,
bright rays burn off the vapours.
Then,
suddenly,
in splendour,
the Sun appears.

If we could only comprehend
The miracle of this hour;
Awareness of existence
Is beyond poetic power.
As something we tend to overlook
In our daily routine woes;
Lost in pain and suffering
Forgetting what we know.
Deep within and out again,
Intangibly unbound;
The fact that we’re even here at all
Is incomprehensibly profound.
No less than flower stems
Than stars that swirl and dance;
No less than a baby’s smile
Or true love and romance.
And sorrow, pain and tears like rain
That never stop their fall;
Therein too lie miracles
Perhaps there, most of all.
From out of ashes, rises Phoenix,
Out of fire comes the gold;
Life is more than meets the eye
Or what we can behold.
But I for one and you for two
May meet where souls collide;
And when we both can see eternity
This moment will have died.
