To confess trespass, seeking absolution,
Praying for a pardon, revealing hidden iniquities,
He kneels in silent vespers
With contrite heart and supplication,
He acknowledges each sin
Upon this revelation, epiphany and intercession,
his spirit releases that of impurity to live once again....
Suttle yet expressive a joyous gratitude insue
upon a realization of God's loving proof
A promise of truth with evidence has come,
for the Son of God has arrived in our earthly realm
For love is the greatest gift of all
and forgiveness shall set us free
alternative to the supposed cookie cutter lifestyle off the grid away from the masses a peaceful life insue
of wandering fields and daisy plaid
twinning soul in pursuit
to conquere a dream set forth by God to live in spiritual truth
Rising lifting we edify where strife has been removed
we live as one beneath the sun grateful of love imbued
When words are lost against their will
A search party will insue
The poet will look for just the right word
For nothing else will do
Sometimes he'll look for days on end
While conspiring with his muse
But no matter how hard the poet looks
There's nothing else he can use
The other words stand so tall and proud
Hoping to take fill his space
But the poet keeps looking both day and night
With determination all over his face
The letters paitently wait their turn
To fill the poet's quill
But until he finds that special word
None of them ever will
And just when he's almost given up
A whisper from his muse makes him smile
He found the word that he couldn't find
Although it took him a while
Each day and hour
I see what others and you do
By minute and second
I try and copy them too
Not by myself
Nor what I do
Am I me?
Or am I you?
To just fit in
Or be accepted
It's all better than hated
Or to be rejected
Simple as that
To mimic and insue
But to make me me?
Or to make me you?
Pressure from despite
Pressure from Love
Pressure to be like them
Not to be hated nor loved
To heir their ways
And the best of the new
But to build boundaries for me?
Or build boundaries from you?
As clear as it may be
Or as obvious it may seem
My mind is MINE
And NOT to be obleemed
What man has my heart and soul
To bring me down to do
The things that aren't of me
But the things that are of you?!
