Insipidity Poems

The Man I Have Become

In a sky stained with black and white tinges, the moon slowly rose,
Interspersed a being and a storehouse of innocuous anecdote.
Innumerable starlings clove the air,
Even with mawkishly effeminate sentiment and soullessness.

Yet, the brassbound stood bold before the austere hand of adversity and drill,
In the moments of pleasure, utter idleness and insipidity,
Moods of vindictive recoils visible like a new dawn,
At times, oddly disappointing and fickle.

Many people priced but couldn't pay,
And the rest paid but couldn't price,
A golden twilight set to transfigure the world,
The soul pelted with honour, dignity and an interminable torrent of words.

Radiant with the beautiful glamour of youth,
A supreme arbiter of conduct,
Not sunk in a phraseological quagmire,
Like the pristine freshness of spring badly described by a common maxim.

It's not a brand of merchandize,
So I wonder when it would be sold.
Far from a title or characteristic of a man,
Integrity is a way of life I have embraced till the end of time.

Let the Word and Action Agree

E-ven word and action must agree,
P-lain speech is lifeless;
E-liminate the insipidity,
N-o movement is tasteless.

N-ever do dull performance,
E-arly twenty-sixth of January;
R-efrain from being inanimate,
J-ust let the word and action
A-gree.

Fire and Wishes

A cloud descends upon this town
as winter consumes autumn
And I can't seem to slow it down
but I guess that's not my problem
Then just as I'm accustomed
to the insipidity
You showed me I have fire inside
to set the shadows free

So gently you uncurl a fist
I thought was made of stone
And on my palm, a dandelion,
waiting to be blown
Expectantly you wait to see
the seeds upon the breeze
But I already got my wish,
I'm trying not to breathe.

May Your Dream Come True

M-ay your dream come true,
E-arnestly do your best;
L-earn to turn insipidity
I-nto gladness and zest.
S-eptember first Friday, fill your heart with fire;
A-llow your mind to think of thirst, drive, and desire.

C-hoose the bright future,
A-im to reach your goal;
L-et your spirit fight,
A-s you soothe your soul.
R-emain firm and faithful, look at the sky so blue;
A-sk the Lord to grant your prayers, may your dream come true.

All Day Long

All day long
Disturbances disturb humans
All day long
Perturbations perturb humans
All day long
Differences demoralize humans
All day long
Obstacles operate humans
All day long
Efforts affect humans
All day long
Situations prevent humans
All day long
Defects diminish humans
All day long
Dangers hover over humans
All day long
Routes mislead humans
All day long
Insipidity inspires humans
all day long
Idiocy guides humans

All day long
Humans suffer from humans
All day long
Humans do not live as humans

Get It Off Your Chest

G-et it off your chest,
L-et not trouble bother you;
A-ugust twenty-ninth Tuesday,
D-on't make your heartbeat blue.
Y-ield to the happiness, ease your worried mind;
S-tay away from fret, leave the boredom behind.

C-ome get it off your chest,
E-xpress what's deep inside;
R-elease the anxiety,
I-nstead of trying to hide.
N-ever let the fear prevail, turn insipidity into zest;
A-im to soothe your soul, get it off your chest.

Ahuman

Let your advent
Be a venture
Let your living
Be an adventure

Insipidity
Will not have validity
Idiocy
Will not have prominence

Do not waste your days
Do not ruin your years

Have drive
Move to thrive

As you are born
Rise like the sun
Grow with shine
Realize that you
Are a human

With a Zest

We have not
Protested against our errors in the past
That is why we have
Palpitations in our presence
If we do not
Protest against our errors right now
We will have perturbations in the future

Thing that has to be protested
Should be protested willfully
When the protest is must
We should do that vigorously

Nothing wrong
Let us protest against our idiocy
Nothing wrong
Let us protest against blind beliefs
Nothing wrong
Let us protest against carelessness
Nothing wrong
Let us protest against insipidity
Nothing wrong
Let us protest against laziness
Nothing wrong
Let us protest against killings
Nothing wrong
Let us protest against wars
Nothing wrong
Let us protest against atrocities

Protest and protest
As and when required

Protest with a zest
To become the best

Insipidity

Her love was insipid
It was lukewarm and murky
His heart sipped it
Spat it out and rinsed it
Cleansed itself
Removed
All traces of insipidity
Murkiness and acidity
Disguised as love
Dripping from a broken heart
