On this cool March afternoon the
sounds of rain play songs in my head..
Some are upbeat and set the scene
for a smile and something sweet to be said..
Other drops of rain play a chorus of
faded dreams and missed open doors..
And yet another ballad could be heard
as the splashes dance on the floor..
On a late winter day in March where only quiet
can be found , I sit and watch the sky and here
music all around..
The rain fell steady on the roof
While I lay awake next to her.
Her slumbered sounds while fast asleep
Had scored a midnight symphony:
Each drop of rain from heaven fell
Made sounds like strings on violins
Each tightly strung and singly tuned
Awaiting for the slightest cue.
A flash, then thunder from the clouds
Commenced the orchestrally sounds
Of euphonic respiration's
And the strings of condensation
Played for an audience of one:
Dreamy arrangements envisioned.
Rain Love
Everytime the rain falls I make a rhythm with each raindrop on the rooftop.
A rhythym that brings joy to my life. It soothes me to sleep. Whenever I feel too excited.
I just remember the raindrops on the rooftop, rain oh! rain if you only knew how much
I admire your coolness and the wind that you bring that caresses my face and the fresh
smell of rain makes me happy, Oh! rain please to fall today so I can sing to your beautiful
rhythm

the rain pating the roof pat pat ppaatt
like a gazillion violins violas & cellos
our very own orchestra,for free.
