As I wandered the memorial park

And so they do, though not as I expect
This will be a harsh lesson
I never had a lipstick kiss like yours

Fool on the Hill on the car radio
You wear your Audrey Hepburn veneer
I think you are drawn to me because you think I will see
Your sadness and anger and vulnerability
And love you wildly for all of it
You want me to tell you that you are my Muse
I’m consumed by dual thrills of illicitness and guilt
I make you material
You awaken a desire to possess you
I let you manipulate me like the others
You hate me for it
Your father has a brick here too
