Letting you go will be
the hardest thing I'll
ever have to do
I know this because
just thinking about it,
makes my heart fall
slowly, silently yet
freely to the floor
Only to break into
small pieces I've yet
figured out how to put
back together again
It's quite selfless
many would say, but
I've got no shame in
saying that I love you
more than I'll probably
ever
love myself
No shame in saying
that I'd gladly fall from
the face of this earth
to save you
Just so you'll see the
sunrise then set, so
you'll feel
the rain fall upon your
head during the next
storm,
But most of all just so
you'll know I'll always
care

I promise to tell you how beautiful you are
And let you know before you were born, you were a rare star
I pray God cast courage upon you
To remember the past but create something new
Your a blessing, a new life
It's up to me to teach you wrong from right
This is your life and you have the wheel
But I tell you my child, in this life there are downhills
It's important that you get back up and carry on,
To a brand new melody, to a brand new song
Use this paintbrush to paint what's in your heart
For your life is your own little work of art
I pray God cast courage upon you,
To explore this world with the gift he's given to you
To walk with a smile and joy in your eyes
Because this life, temporary sweet child,
We are only here for a while

Be careful she's a piece of work
She'll break your heart and leave you hurt
You see her hips, you see her thighs
That devilish spark in her eyes
She's got you hooked, you think you've
Fallen in love, you bought her a drink
She gave you a hug
You're a bit faded, she takes you home
She gives you the sweetest taboo
But it's unknown
You awake in the morning, she has your cab outside,
The smell of lust on the sheets run wild
So you leave a couple of bucks on the dresser nearby
She's no wife, she's no little girl
She belongs to many men in this world
She'll continue her search, she's out there
And she's a piece of work

A storm is coming
near
On our faces,
nothing but fear
Ignorance protects
the heart of the
young
Never knowing what
they're among
Some shake their
heads in disbelief
Some take cover in
the earth beneath
Man protect woman,
woman protect child
Objects tossed, this
wind is wild
A cry for help is
never heard
Every man for
himself, it's quite
absurd
You know the saying
"joy comes in the
morning"
But in their hearts
it's still a bit stormy
They remember the
ones they loss even
though they are now
apart, may they
know they remain in
our hearts, as life
goes on to a new
start
A storm is coming, a
storm has came
The storm is over,
lives were claimed
And the ones that
are left will never be
the same...
A storm is coming
so is the pain

Vodka breaths
Whirlpool for an altogether lacking
Semi-precious argot falling into ergo false
As thunder
Obscene bruising
Poster pallet body floods a smooth
Pre-determined crashing rhapsody enveloping
Scarcely baited fluent wounds
The barbed wire cheek with the organ fluid
Vodka-happy under vomit-endeavouring plagiarist pamphlets
Propaganda as juvenilia, writhing as cat claw drunken
Into harness, burgundy tort and lapsing as a pulse
The ribs enlarging into ever, and slow water bathes
Religiously nostalgic
The far-flung forever feverish into slow decline
Diving as a neck about rope and pleasure dome inverted
Under hammer-sickle skies a curdling milk infection
Purging the body of an absence and sleeping with the enemy
The smell of your cigarette
It rots me to the core
The vapoured vivid humes which engulf the very
Chamber of my swinging brick.
