For Pearl. Had to carry the can! From fiasco to disaster.'
Either didn't really plan' one trained 'guns willy nilly'
The other got caught' with terrible life tolls' all ships trapped
In port! So retribution was given (under maritime law) as I
Understand things? Anything else would be poor.' So what
Of the actions.? Of commanders in chief.? Should they
Endanger their charges, and their country in breif' can there be
No reprecussions? No treasonous charge? In my estimation i find (such a proposition) too hard' to hard for
Comprehension 'specially should there be willfull intent' in
Knowing of disaster yet never to relent.! I have heard so
Much of the gravitas of Admiralty law! Part of the base of
The governance for co-hesion and so much more.' If you're
Prime minister or even President grand' can you carry out crime withought compunction
Let treason be planned.? denigrate your own citizens? And
Care not one bit.' Cause murder and destruction yet think
You will not pay; not one whit..!

When Old Mother Hubbard
Examined her cupboard
And found not a scrap there to munch on,
Not one morsel that clung
To an ort or a crumb,
She felt foolish and dumb
And stood sucking her thumb
While her dog, Butch, got nothing for luncheon.
"She forgot to go shopping again," grumbled he.
She just scratched his ears sighing,
"Sorry, pal. C'est la vie."
When pangs of hunger are felt,
Humans tighten their belt,
But poor Butch started howling
As his stomach was growling,
For a mastiff has needs to be regularly fed.
So…since there was no baloney…
And…since she was nice and bony…
Mother Hubbard wound up on the menu instead.
This tale has a moral,
As some nursery rhymes do,
And this one's a little bit gruesome, it's true:
A pet owner's job's
To protect not neglect him,
So feed yours each mealtime,
For if too long overdue,
Your "Butch" might be inclined
To make a meal out of you.

Old Mother Hubbard went to her cupboard and found it bare!
She laughed and said, "Fiddle-dee-dee! What do I care!
I'll jes git some of them food stamps from old Uncle Sam,
And me and my dog will have us a heap of taters and ham!"

** This poem is in memory of Catherine V. Hubbard, one of the children who died in the Sandy Hook Shooting. Catherine was a beautiful girl with red hair, who had a passion for animals and loved to smile.
Catherine enters Heaven with God and all the animals greeting her as they jump on her and lick her until she can't help but smile widely.
Her red hair then shines brightly and beautifully.
As her love for animals and human beings in shown through her smile.
Catherine will go to sleep hugging all the animals showing them her unconditional love she hopes to show to the world.

Grandfather Hubbard
look through his cupboard
and yelled: Where is my army platoon!
And poor grandson Johnny
so young and so scrawny
said: there isn't a war coming soon?
John's Father Riley, could not take this smiling
"Grandpa Hubbard, your such an old loon!"
You get up in the morning
and take off your clothing
and go on the roof for the neighbors to see!
Then you go yelling:
WHO'S FEET ARE SMELLING!!
Gosh your so old, your mind had to flee!
Johnny knew brightly, not to take this too lightly
"O Father leave Grandfather be.
For when you are older, you be not as sober
and would be probably looking for a carved pirate key!"
Father Riley looked at Johnny wisely and said:
"Why son, I have the right to agree!
Grandpa's so silly but he's our old Billy,
Hubbard stop looking, we're the army of three!"
Grandfather Hubbard
looked out of his cupboard
and smiled at his great family
"Well come on troops!
Go put on your boots!
Together our hearts won't be beat!"
