I can fly us anywhere
You name the place, I'll take us there
Want to go explore the seas?
There're seven, come explore with me
And continents? Yep, seven too
I'll visit all of them with you

Or we can just remain at home
There's no real pressing need to roam
I'd be happy snuggling
In a cozy blanket bundling
Up with you against the cold
Embracing you would not get old

Underneath I'd hold your hand
No books tonight, they're on the stand
And after when the lights go out
Quietly my heart would shout,
"Woot! At last! Here comes true bliss!"
Then starting with a little kiss

I'd tell you how I've loved you long
It started when you sang a song
The voice I heard caused me to melt
And from then on for you I felt
A special feeling deep inside
My true companion, time I'd bide

Patience, that's the only way
Though how I want you now, today
A quiet contemplation sought
To soothe and ease my longing heart
For you I'll wait for all my life
And hope one day to call you wife

Premium MemberListening To My Clothes

My shoes are glad to be here
Because they are show offs.
With their crazy psychedelic colors
And their loud look-at-me designs.

My sweatshirt parades in the room
More reluctantly.
Large white letters speak for themselves.
Learn. Lead Succeed. Stephen Covey stuff.

My fluffy pink socks scrunch low to the bottom
of my shoes, wanting to be back home, safe in a dark drawer.
They are as skittish as any piece of clothing I have ever had
Including my shy pink rosebud nightgown.

I roll my eyes as I hear my clothing think for themselves.
Why did you bring those homebodies? Blue jeans queries.
If there is one item of clothing I do not answer to it is Blue Jeans.
He always has a sarcastic edge to his accusing tones.

Covid-19 and Us

It used to twitter before though it was never descried,
It used to fly before though it was never recognised,
Today it trills and is heard as well,
Heedlessly it soars through the sky where merrily it dwells.

This is the kind of arena,
Don't you think must span through the whole era,
No one can stop us from leading towards destruction,
Do you believe we always need a Corona?
Away from the mocking world, we are now with our families,
The eyes that used to yearn to see us are now homebodies.

Golu Molu and Chunmun stories have revived again with Grandma's old potpourri,
Never lived until now, Capture these moments in the mind's eye,
And have a heart-to-heart talk with our beloved ,
That we helplessly couldn't, as time flew by,
Sure-footed, we are, this misfortune will crawl,
Nobody can stop us, this Corona will too befall.

Believe me! This time of love, restraint and faith is fragile,
Don't you find it rather peaceful that than the artificial world that is vile,
Enjoy with your loved ones, Can't you?, for a wink,
To live life king-size,
There are ages to blow in,
To live life king-size,
There are ages to blow in.

The Human Kind

During some time in life, the caged animal is set free
Taking on the world so aggressively
No longer at the parent's beckon call
They no longer are staring at their bedroom walls
They take flight and start living their own lives
As they grow, from their backs they will have to remove some knives
Where is the compassion, a lack of it these days
Some become homebodies, others become strays
Strays should be neutered or spayed
Self preservation is a natural instinct
Life is so precious, can pass by in a blink
Life should be held in high regard and respect
The worst animal is human in many aspects
Kindness to others comes in slivers
By far the takers outnumber the givers
They say that we are all coming to the end of our time
The hints of it are evident, I guess there has to be more dramatic signs
We are of course talking about the human kind
