Bold In the Cold

I am barefoot in the sky
Air entering through my lungs — I can’t deny
Put all of me at ease
Please me in the breeze

If you could be a moth to my fiery passion,
Then please do with so much compassion
If you could be a fly on the tall, thick wall,
Then please be one and lead me to hope’s hall

I am barefoot in the sky
Wind blowing in my hair — I can’t deny
Put all of me at ease
Please me and don’t be a tease

If you could be my maroon moon tonight,
You’d make me fly like a hippogriff at flight
If you could be a caterpillar in its cocoon,
Hopefully I’ll see you soon in another blue moon

Wrap your wings around me in the sky
Fire blows in all directions — I can’t deny
Put all of me at ease
Please me, even if it’s a thousand degrees

Ice has made me frozen in time once more,
So do me a favor and melt me to my inner core
I am barefoot and I’m left in the cold,
Snowed under by the feelings of I-will-remain-strong-and-bold

Witches and Warlocks

Were forgotten until Harry Potter came on the
Scene. Let me tell you his world rocks.
They have an excellent school, fantastic
Magical beasts, time turner travel, magical
Wands, house elves, extraordinary clocks,
Wear regular clothes under their robes,
As they travel the globe,
In huge ships that travel under the seas, in the
Air being pulled by beautiful winged horses,
A hippogriff, or on a broom
With plenty of elbow room.
They receive magical exploding and talking
Envelopes
As they travel the globe.
They use ordinary things for teleport keys
With no fees.
These people live in magnificent abodes
As they travel the globe.

The Trojan Horse

Once is gust a knell,
Shuddered a colt
Shattered his mane athwart
His wafting soul a shaft of fear
Like a sprout!

Staggering in frisson
A gladiator, reined him in prison
His body, an etched pigeon
Under the lashing ribbon

Long time went on and on
As trained and brisk as Trojan
Until in one grim morn
He was left alone, forlorn.

Then, a shadow of hippogriff
Scratched his hoof so stiff,
Captured him by defeat.

Hey… my coy horse, an orphan,
Still flutter in this repellent
Lagoon, while Poseidon
Is himself drowned.
