Hibernators Poems | Examples

Premium MemberFour Seasons

Four Seasons have harmony.
One utilizes two years.
Four start same year.
All have three months.

December? Commerce and Celebration.
WINTER? Ice, Cold, Snow.
Forecast of the groundhog.
Blackouts and closed roads.

Thaw up; SPRING up.
Beautiful blossoms; singing birds.
Life explosion; Living colors.
Hibernators, eat and play.

Marry me this SUMMER.
Cool me in July.
Festivities in the FALL.
Give thanks in November.

Premium MemberSpring Is In the Air

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And the birds are chirping
And singing their happy songs.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And the bees are pollinating the
Blossoms in the flowers and trees.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
But there is another side to Spring
To which we should all be aware.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And we are enthralled by its beauty.
But be wise and advised of its dark side.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
But that doesn't mean
We don't have a care.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And so are mosquitoes
And other undesirables.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And so are allergenic pollens.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And so are bees and wasps.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And hibernators are out.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And the snow is melting,
Causing massive landslides
And flooding the lowlands.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And flies, flees, and snakes
Are looking for things to eat.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And it's a great time of the year.
And we need not worry, fret, or fear.
But there are some things out there
That might engender a tear.

Beautiful Fall

Body bronzed bathed in warm bright sunshine

Emitted effortlessly by our celestial star

Affectionately accepted, totally adored and

Utilised until summer undeniably ends to

Transform our cloudless sky to slate grey

Ice cooling winds, mysterious mists over

Flat meadows creating prisms of color

Ultra violet to calm greens of lichen walls

Looped barriers of Stone, natures defences,

Falling leaves of russet red and golden hues

Autumnal fresh cool air incites migration of birds

Leaving hibernators to retire, relax and sleep

Live and love earths most beautiful seasons.

Premium MemberCloser By a Day

not soon enough, will winter go away

taking with it all that white and gray

waiting for the sun to thus betray

          remains that frozen vestiges array

     warming temps arising day-to-day

winter's final gasps thus making way

for such a bright and colorful display

exploding in an emerald green ballet

a Cardinal in his crimson red beret

sings the morn his romance resume'

a little "peeper", each dusk's protege

and groggy hibernators join the fray

dancing 'cross a lawn of grass parquet

the squirrels making mischief, so risque'

thus worthy of a brooding Hemingway

all these things to chase the cold dismay

of a long and somber winter's disarray

and if allowed an old and trite cliche'

I wish we had the power to make it stay

then every day could be a spring-tide day.

Winter Respite For Some

Winter gives some wildlife a rest,
But most birds are put to a test.
Most do try, most do their best.
Kingfishers migrate to the coast.

Rivers freeze, can no longer host
Birds can feed on crumbled toast,
But prefer wild bird seed the most.
Peanuts, preferred by most ****.

Wild mammals, feed them bits,
Of what you think their diet fits.
Grey squirrels just greedy gits.
Badgers, foxes, and stray cats.

Winter hibernators, like all bats,
Reptiles, amphibians, more facts.
Have built-in automatic thermostats.
Spring approaching, warm sun.

Winter almost over, almost done.
Cock birds singing, for a mate, a mum.
They'll help it to feed their young.
Winter gives some wildlife a rest.
