Today;
be the ember this morning hastes,
be the delight this morning tastes,
be the warmth this morning creates,
be the colour this morning pastes.

My heart knows
Such poignant things,
A poise shows
Such vivid flings.
Yes I bide
A secret dwells,
A joy ride
I cannot tell.
My soul keeps
A sacred space,
Glimpse most deep
Sight of calm face.
Yes I feel
A deeper need,
A fond thrill
Where truth plants creed.
My mind grips
A fancy here,
A pun odd trip
In plunging spheres.
Yes I sense
A vintage play,
An odd tense
As time fits way.
My chance strokes
A vibrant poise,
A clear yoke
To anchor choice.
Yes I taste
An easy rush,
A blush hastes
A linear plush.
My range fits
A drowsy voice,
Change frames wit
To greet new choice.

In that darkest of time at Charlottesville
When hate ruffled their minds
And madness erupted in kind
But dumb Trump bluffed in haste,
Hate, hastes, I was dazed,
As wicked drove on Heyer in sour taste!
Both sides he claims to bait
Wait, is heaven in joy of our choice?
Or God in vengeance of Bannon grudge?
Albeit, or hell in bed rest?
Wall! Wall! Wall! He cried
Pouted as pig his anthem of division
Then comes release of his bosom, Arpaio
While in rage heaven dances in Texas
Tornado, hurricane and water flood
Our folks in need of our own
Donate to help Texans in pains
Think not of Brother's hater in our midst
Donate, brother's keeper you are.
Help before Trump turns us to nothing

With rainbow wings, you tarry among the stones
Your caress as light as dew drops in the sun
Searching for a rose to call your own...
A morning breeze hastes to join the fun
Tickling vines, and petals, where you've clung
You find a place to rest awhile and preen
Then fly to me, assured and debonair
You spread apart kaleidoscopic wings
While proudly knowing roses won't compare
Nor can the scarlet ribbon in my hair
Dear butterfly, while neighbors won't suspect
This love affair I have with you,
My hair, in which you light, holds new barrette
You flatter me,... am I prize pursued?
You've fluttered down, to be my arm's tattoo

There is music in the wind
it blows so softly and sweet;
humming at the top of the hills
and all the trees swing to it
There is beauty in the water
when it flows from the mountains to the valley
splashing on its path from boulder to boulder,
reflecting the sun like a flawless ruby
There is beauty in the morning;
the fog hangs in the air like incense burning
drops of dew hang from the leaves
and sparkle like diamonds set in eaves
There is music in the evening
the sounds of roosting birds fill the evening
and in the sky, just over the horizon,
a yolk-colored sun hastes to its place of dwelling
